Decided to go here on my Birthday. Booked a 2 flight and virtual reality experience with purchased photos and videos. I actually screwed up my time and thought I booked for 2pm when I actually booked for 12pm. They called me while I was late of course and rescheduled me for 2pm with no problem! Customer service and staff definitely great. Location is easy to find and get to. Parking available and there's also a mall across from you with lots to do and eat. Everything was smooth and effortless. We signed our waivers online so check-in was simple. We waited about 30 mins to actually watch the 30 second video about flight posture and communication and there was a live demonstration which I volunteered for to give you an idea of how you're supposed to be positioned. Sammy our instructor was awesome! Very helpful and a pleasure to be around. Flying was definitely fun and a great experience. The virtual reality however I believe could've been better. It wasn't full screen or full face. Seemed like you were looking into a circle. Updated VR would make the experience a lot better. The videos came out good while my partners picture came out awesome, mine weren't that good. I had a lot less and none focused on my face. I would definitely go again and try to get my skills up. Simply AWESOME......so.much.fun. Took my daughter for her 17th bday as a surprise. Everything was perfect. From the moment you walk in the door the staff was welcoming and wonderful. The instructors both caring and professional. We are looking forward to doing it again and again. Yes, they sell you videos and pictures but the prices are reasonable. That being said, if you come with someone not "flying" they are free to take all the pictures and videos of your flight so if you don't want to pay the few $ for pix or video, come with someone and they can snap and video every second. Of course, you can't bring your phone or jewelry or anything else in the anteroom, makes sense.....safety is #1 & they don't want you losing anything; duh. Yes, each flight is 60 seconds which sounds short for the price but think about it; if you are doing a real skydive you only free fall (which this simulates) for 45 seconds......once. Here your first free fall is 25% longer than a real skydive and you get to do it again.......in total safety. Quite a bit cheaper than a real skydive, without the worries. Lastly, although small children can fly; to me it appeared they should be at least 10 to do it correctly and enjoy it. I saw several small kids doing it & no matter how hard the instructor tried to get them to straighten or bend their legs; they just didn't get it. In addition, it probably works best if you are over 90 lbs and under 225, or so. IMO. It really was a blast and we have already booked our next flight! Enjoy........ read more

iFLY was a fun experience. Every summer, my job sends me upstate for 8 weeks and on my way up I would see this place. I wondered what it was and finally remembered to look it up. I booked a slot on a Monday with 2 picture vouchers. I didn't go for the high flight which was extra because I was a first timer and wasn't sure how I was going to do, let alone feel about it. Now that I got two 1 minute flights in, I have a taste of what it can be. You can bet ill be going back and make it a family event. Its pricey but 1 minute is enough. It feels longer when you're in there. I arrived early coming from the city so the receptionist asked me if she could bump me up 1/2 hour early so of course I said yes. Check in was easy. The place was clean, they have vending machines for snacks. The bathrooms were clean and sanitzied. Over all the staff looks like they have fun in the job. Theyre all smiles, informative and very easy to talk to. After the flight they give you a certificate of what you achieved in your flight and if you pre ordered pictures, they give you your vouchers to download immediately to your phones or wherever you want to do it. Parking lot is decent size. I went on a Monday so not a lot of people. Again, its a bit pricey but i recommend it at least once. Basic package is 2 flights. Enough to leave happy. If your enjoy yourself more flights are available for purchase on the spot. HAVE FUN! read more

I booked a family package for 5 of us to come here for my boyfriend's birthday last month. The family package included 10 flights to be shared within the group. Since there were 5 of us we each had 2 flights. In addition to the family package we purchased to fly higher on our 2nd flights which is an extra fee. Before we flew in the wind tunnel we sat in a private room where we watch a 4 or 5 minute video instructing us on body positioning and hand signals from the instructor. Afterwards, we were given our suits, helmets, and eye goggles to put on before it was our turn to go into the wind tunnel. Being in the tunnel was so much fun and it was not scary at all. It feels like I was floating. Not that big, scary dip feeling you get from rollercoasters. Flying higher was the best it felt so thrilling. After each group is done flying the instructors would give everybody a unique flight show, where they do a lot of tricks. I recommend trying indoor skydiving. I decided to come to iFly as a part of my birthday celebration with my friend and it was such a great experience! I booked our reservation at 1:30 (I'm coming from Brooklyn, but it was super easy to get to with Metro North and Lyft) and we got the package the gave us two flights each and two videos of the flights of our choosing (it was $80 each and worth it!). We got there around 12:50 giving us plenty of time to check-in and watch other people in the tunnel. While watching everyone, I saw an instructor that my friend and I started talking to and automatically clicked with! He then asked if we were a part of the 1:30 group because he was instructing it (Jack, you rock!!). We went into a room with our group and watched a short 4 min video and Jack also did some demonstrations. Then we went to get suited up and waited for the group ahead of us to finish. Then we went in and I was about 5th in line and shaking with excitement! But I went and it was epic! And since it was my birthday, I got a free high fly (even better the second time around!). Great clean party rooms, but they didn't even have 10 candles for my little brother's cake, and the same two minute video on loop. That doesn't sound so bad, but believe me. You will have memorized every second of that loop after 10-20 times of seeing it (which if you think about it, that will only take about half an hour). They tell you the duration will be an hour, with suiting up, lessons and instructions, but never did I think I was paying $150 for just 4 minutes of fun. They also offer something called "high flight", which is an additional $10 each. That however is part of that 60 second session. So it becomes, 30 seconds of flying, and 30 seconds of high flying; plus a 1 min video each. THAT IS IT! It's just way over priced, for 60 seconds. It's not worth it. This was actually a surprise trip. I was taken without knowing where i was heading. That morning i was tired from going out and staying awake the entire previous night. So i fell asleep on the cab ride from the Bronx to Yonkers. When i woke up and realized where i had just arrived, i was like a kid in disney world. When you first walk in, they have the different prices for the seperate packages posted up. Then they make you sign a waiver/contract (you know, in case you die you cant file a lawsuit). After you finally walk in the main room, you can see the airtube where youll be skydiving. Either one of the instructors will be practicing or a group of people will be making their jumps. Once youre seated in the main room, you have to wait until your group is escorted to the video room by your instructor. There you'll be watching a video for about 10 minutes. Itll show you the basics about how to properly position your body and youll learn the hand signals your instructor might use when the 2 of you are together inside the airtube and unable to communicate vocally ; the instructor will also give you a few additional pointers. After the video, youre taken back outside the room and youre allowed to choose any locker you want, so you can put away any loose items like your jacket or anything in your pockets. NO CELL PHONES are allowed in the airtube (they make extra money by selling you pics and videos taken with cams already setup inside the airtube). When youre done with the locker, youre given a helmet, set of glasses, and coveralls that must be worn in the airtube. Finally, when its your groups turn to make the jump, everyone has to wait on a bench. The instructor will let each person take their individual turn in the airtube; he/she will be the only other person floating alongside you. It isnt to hard to breathe while youre floating in there, but i dont suggest trying to breathe through your mouth (unless you want everyone to see you drooling). How many jumps you make and the duration of each jump depends on the package that you purchase. Like i said before, this was all a surprise for me, so i wasnt the one who selected my package. However, im sure it was probably the most basic of packages, because i only jumped twice and the duration of each jump was barely a minute. But considering the fact that youre not allowed to do flips and other tricks while youre floating, i would say that after 3 jumps youd probably get tired of doing the same thing. After all your jumps are done, you give back all the gear, and you get to look at which pics youd like to purchase on one of the computer monitors. Overall, it was a great experience. Anyone can participate, from elderly to young toddlers to people with special needs. Its fun if you go with just one other person or if you go with a group. Considering the price of a single actual skydiving jump, i would say this place is really inexpensive. Of course nothing compares to the real thing, but this is definately a great alternative for any cowards who are afraid of heights or for any racists who say "only white people do crazy things like that". This was one of the best surprises of my adult life. I would definately love to go again asap with a better package. read more

My 6 year old son saw a video of this and wanted to "fly like an eagle." He was super excited until it was his time to step into the tunnel... With Autism and Sensory Processing Disorder, the wind velocity and the noise was completely overwhelming him... Aaron, our flight instructor was so very patient and kind with him... He allowed us to take our time to help my son overcome his fear, standing with his hands out for what seem liked hours although it was probably just seconds, and was allowing me the space I needed to help my son take that step instead of rushing the line as many people do. Once in, Aaron let my son start out by jumping on the net to feel more comfortable and very, very slowly increased the wind velocity until my son was up. Aaron kept checking in with me visually to see if I wanted to bring him back in and end the session. On the second flight, my son wanted to go in again but again was overwhelmed once we felt the wind and heard the noise at the door again... Aaron helped my son by offering for him to hold his neck instead of his hands... My son trusted Aaron enough to latch on and and let go of me. Up they both went... That alone speaks volumes. I definitely recommend you ask for Aaron if your child has any sort of challenges and you/they would like to try this. I am sure all of the instructors at this facility are great, but from first had experience, I can honestly say I am more than grateful Aaron was our flight instructor. Thank you so very much, Aaron, for helping my son overcome his fears enough to enjoy his flight at your facility. Not many people are able to establish rapport and be sensitive enough to build trust with a special needs child so quickly. What an incredible time we had at I fly. My daughter wanted to do something different for her sweet 16 and this was fantastic. The entire staff was amazing. Agnesa was so incredibly patient with answering our questions and arranging everything to help us with our groups needs. Our flight instructors Kenneth and Kevin were very high energy, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable and totally supportive to the few of the girls that were a little more nervous. I was exactly 10 minutes late to my reservation, no exaggeration 10 minutes exactly for my sons birthday. i was willing to except being too late to have the experience because the lateness was my fault. a young lady came out and began essentially yelling at us and said that that couldn't get a refund or fly that day. Then a different manager came out and allowed just the birthday boy to fly. Her behavior totally ruined everyone's mood and we were very understanding of our lateness being the cause no one was rude in any way to justify her attitude towards us it was very off putting. I can't recommend that place at all. Luckily another young lady two hours later was able to get 3 more kids to fly but over all not a good experience at all i already knew that flight were one minute long and it was also an extra $30 for them to actually fly up otherwise the person just kind of holds you on the ground as you glide at ground level so the pricing is a lie too. read more

Indoor skydiving here was a good experience. I went with a group of friends for one of our friends bday. She decided to do something to end 2017 differently. The place was pretty easy to get to from Queens. We picked the early (8:00 am) flight package so when we got there it was empty and parking was easy. The sign in process was decent and the staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. Our instructor was great as well. He helped us get suited up and ready to "fly". We thought that there would be multiple wind tunnels for separate groups but there was only one. I'm not sure how I felt about so many onlookers but it was cool. My only complaint is that we paid so much for 2 60 second "flights" and paid $10 bucks extra to go higher up. Also, when we were taking off the gear, helmets and protective glasses one of the girls taking the stuff was really rude when we asked her questions. Everyone else there besides her was really nice. The overall experience was cool but I thought it was way overpriced. For that I might as well plan another real skydiving trip. I'm not sure I would go back. Maybe. They said they have locations worldwide with bigger wind tunnels, so who knows. We will see. read more

It's our first time here. We arrived at 5:15 for 5:30 family session. I booked & hit the road to the Yonkers destination coming from East Long Island (Suffolk County). I didn't read my confirmation email so we needed to complete ten flight waivers & suit up quickly. Our party consisted of two adults, two children above 18, six children ranging from 6 to 17 and one newborn (He was there only to pay for the family outing, lol). I didn't realize that I should have been indoors fifteen prior. So had to rush kid waiver entries. This oversight could have been me. Make sure you complete your waiver prior to getting there. We did receive a courtesy call at 5:15 while we were in the parking lot which allowed me to ask a few questions prior to entry. The young lady who called was courteous, knowledgeable & easy to talk to. I appreciated how she gave me a sense of urgency get out behinds inside quickly in a very professional & nice way. I'm sorry I didn't notate your name. Please acknowledge her. Parking lot was clean & easily accessible from the mall entrance. (Though can be passed if you drive too fast) Approach up the hill slowly. The entrance of the building was really clean exterior and foyer interior. It felt safe and clean in terms of our Pandemic aftermath. The suits also had a detergent fragrance indicating it was cleaned. All equipment looked safe & in good working condition. We used the restroom to tend to our newborn child's needs and same applies for atmosphere in there. This means a lot to the well being of my family. Kudos! Training by the same young Lady who called/ greeted us was timely, informative, clear, exciting in a well lit & clean room. We each experienced flights as trained. We all had a great time with Sammie. He entertained each of us which created an amazing energy level. Miguel also communicated with us via monitor/screen during flight. Lots of communication during flight. Miguel also made sure we had directions to access our photos/videos online. We did identify one opportunity with online video purchase. The 20 second sample shows the exit of one and entrance of yourself. I selected a video which was not the one I wanted to purchase because I could not differentiate which was which. We cannot identify the order of video. I have one suggestion for improvement. Can you label the video flight 1, flight 2, flight 3? Overall, my expectations were exceeded. I was able to provide an experience to myself and my children. I completed a bucket list checkoff with them. There was one couple who joined our group as well. This was extremely enjoyable & great value for my expense. We extended five extra flights seamlessly. Simply charged my card on file.The demo by Sammie was truly a Segway to discuss future interests in flights with the family. I went to iFly to celebrate my nephews birthday. I thought it'd be a great experience for him as well as his brother and sister. My whole family including my mom who's in her 60's had a great time flying. Although I was more afraid than anyone in our group our instructor Michael took his time with me. He calmed me down.. I had Alex as a coach. I highly recommend asking for him as your instructor. He was so nice, very knowledgeable and I felt safe with him as our "flight" instructor. (Also this has nothing to do with ifly but he had the most charming accent) I booked a party pack for my birthday (all adults) and everyone had an AMAZING TIME! I bought return trips right after becuase I thought it was so great! We sat through a short video when we got there and its true that the whole ordeal is very very short but if you think about it all rollercoasters are the same. I had slight issues with our reservation but that was due to misscommunications due to both parties and it was settled to my satisfaction. There were a LOT of kids running around becuase they had another birthday there which was a little irritating but eh kids. read more

We went as a corporate outing. First timer for me and it was a crazy yet amazing experience. My nerves didn't get the best of me I was determined. I had to think I'm not going to fall and die lol. We got two rounds per person. The second round you have the option of going up a bit higher of course supervised. Best to bring someone who isn't going to get a good video or photo. There's no need to be afraid as the experience is incredibly safe and you have a guide with you the whole time! It was really enjoyable. We had the best time! This location is very convenient, has a ton of parking and is very close to where we live in Manhattan. The people who work there are fantastic! All of them. The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they were running behind schedule (by about 40 minutes) and we had purchased tix in advance so we were surprised we had to wait. My daughter and niece (14 and 13 respectively) did the flights (2). The are both about 5 foot 4 inches and about 110 pounds so it was pretty easy for the instructor to control them letting them really experience the fun. We will definitely be back! read more

Everyone was nice and super-professional. We got there very early to see how it all worked. My somewhat anxious 8 year old daughter flew by herself, ahead of me, and LOVED it. She is dying to go back. Flying was amazing! The instructors are very good and make you feel safe in the tube. It's not a cheap weekend activity, but it sure is cool, and great for me, a person who is NO EFFING WAY ever jumping out of an airplane. Our flight instructor, Michael, showed us what he can do after our flights, and he looked just like Iron Man in the tube- it was amazing! A great experience, really really fun. I have been to several iFly locations and never had to wait when I booked in advance.
