I had the screen of my iPhone 12 replaced in early 2022 by iFixandRepair in Exton, Pa, and other than some minor glitches and an occasional locked screen all was okay. Two weeks ago while using my iPhone I saw a white line form across the center of my screen and the bottom half of the screen was flashing white while the top of the screen turned dark black. I attempted to contact the iFixandRepair store where I had the work done only to find the store closed. I searched in my area for iFixandRepair stores and found one in Allentown, Pa, near where I was doing work for my company. When I brought my iPhone in to have the screen replaced, the man at the counter took the case off my phone, threw it on the counter and did the same with my iPhone, and told me he would not honor the iFixandRepair warranty. His excuse was that he was a franchise and had no obligation to work on my phone. So I was a bit frustrated and contacted other iFixandRepair stores who pretty much told me the same thing, So if you need to have your phone repaired, I would suggest you go somewhere other than an iFixandRepair store! read more

My phone had to be replaced with a NEW PHONE and I had to get new contacts and start ALL over again, after bringing it here to get the screen fixed, I had a bad crack back in March and had to get it replaced. Big regret. Once it was fixed I dropped it on my wooden floor, it wasn't even a bad or hard fall, no big deal - right? WRONG. It was cracked way worse than before. Also had some part of my screen come off.... so weird? I should've went to apple, when I asked for a refund they told me they couldn't do that. but they could fix my phone for 75$ and I was like um no thanks. It should be done for free. This place is absolutely TERRIBLE. I never write yelp reviews, but i felt this was important. I went to get my phone screen repaired, and they were quick. I also purchased a protective glass screen and a case from this store. A week later, I dropped my phone in my apartment (it wasn't a bad drop at all, in fact I didn't think anything of it) and my phone was SHATTERED. I went back since they said I had a "warranty" on it. When I told them what happened, they shrugged their shoulders and told me to be more careful. After lots of complaining, I got them to replace my phone for $50, even though it should've been for FREE. Then, I thought I was having deja vu or something because the SAME EXACT THING HAPPENED AGAIN. I am furious!! It's inevitable to drop your phone time to time, that's is why people purchase things like a protective glass screen and a phone case. I shouldn't have cracks in my phone after a minor drop. This place is a rip-off and a scam. I HIGHLY recommend not going here. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE I sincerely wish there was an option for negative stars but, alas, there is not. This past week I broke my phone screen at around 6:30PM. It was essentially unusable and I needed it for a trip that I went on. I looked up phone repair places in the area and the only one that was open later than 7PM was iFixandRepair. I called them to ask how much it would cost and how long it would take. They told me it would cost $120, which is more than most other phone repair places around the city, but they said it would only take 20 minutes. In what was one of the worst decisions I have ever made, I trekked to the Galleria and made my way over to iFixandRepair. I walked up to the counter and forked over my little broken friend to the less than welcoming individual sitting behind the counter. "20 minutes" he said. F*cking great. So I come back 20 minutes later and the guy from behind the counter retrieves my phone from the backroom. He starts testing it. "It is all working but the N key. It is problem with the digitizer," he says. "It needs to be replaced. 20 more minutes." Sick. As I walked around the store waiting for my phone to be finished, I quickly began to realize that all of the signs in this dude's store were printed out pieces of paper that had been glued to a display. The iPad display was just a piece of wood with a printed out photograph of an iPad. They had a random phone mounted on the wall not doing anything. "What is this nightmarish realm which I have entered into?" I began to wonder. 20 minutes passed and the guy brings out my phone. He had one job and completely botched it. Again. I had entered with a cracked WHITE iPhone 6. He presented me with a fixed black iPhone with a white button. I wasn't thrilled but the guy said they were out of the white screens and he would change it if I came back on Monday. "That comes to $151." It was about $30 more than what he had quoted me over the phone and the replacement screen sure as sh*t didn't cost anywhere close to $100. To pay extra for that kind of service is just absurd so I got him to lower the price slightly. Jump ahead. It's today (Monday). I go back to the ifixandrepair store in the Galleria and present the guy, the same guy, with my phone. He told me to come back in 20 minutes so I did. I took my phone from the guy and walked into Nordstorm with my friend. I received a phone call but couldn't hear anything. I had my friend call me. I couldn't hear anything. The thought of having to deal with the incompetence of the ifixandrepair employees was nauseating. I went back over and told the guy what was going on. He took it unapologetically and said it would be a couple of minutes. I lost it. I basically reminded the guy that he isn't in the phone repair industry, he is in the customer service industry; that his business is literally fixing phones. He argued with me about why I was in the wrong for about 5 minutes and told me, word for word, "I cannot satisfy 100% of my customers. Sh*t happens." and "you are just a negative person. You are not trying to be friendly. That is why you are not satisfied" Any other store manager would have done something to correct the situation: a refund, a partial refund, a free case, a discounted case. I would have taken anything. If the guy had cared AT ALL I would have been satisfied, but he didn't. He had provided a garbage service and couldn't care less. He brought out my phone and I left. I didn't say another word. I tried to use the front camera and it was horribly blurry and smudged. I couldn't go back to that damn store so I just went to Apple, where they told me they could have fixed it for $80. They fixed the camera. I am struggling to write a negative enough review about this place but the people that work there truly are some of the least accommodating, least friendly, but most incompetent individuals I have ever met. If every Apple and phone repair place, with the exception of ifixandrepair, in the world closed down, I would happily switch to a Samsung phone, so long as I never had to deal with the knuckle-dragging idiots at ifixandrepair. read more

I have only broken one iPhone screen in 11+ years of owning iPhones and it was a memorable huge crash. I lived with that crack on my screen for 6 months when I thought I would stop in here and get my screen replaced. Paid extra for the "Apple" screen. My phone immediately had an odd blue hue. Clearly not an Apple screen. 10 days after replacement I pulled my phone (in protective case) out of the soft pocket of my purse all phones are kept in with out any bumps or drops and I had fine hairline cracks on my phone. First, again indicating the screen is a thinner/poorer quality than an actual Apple screen but further with normal careful use after 10 days it broke. I took it in and was told I rudely told I probably dropped it and didn't remember and that I could pay full price again for a replacement. No thank you. Off to the Apple store to actually get it fixed. Avoid this store. read more

Paid $300 for iPhone repair because they gave me warranty on their work . Came back 1 week later because it would not take pictures anymore and the guy denied warranty . I later whent to apple and they informed me no one sells apple screen except apple . The guy here lied to me saying it's apple screen. I will give the NEGATIVE stars if I can!!! I cracked my iphone 6 accidentally for the first time and I went to them to repair. After I received my iphone, i found my volume key is not working the next day! I came back to the store and the guy who repaired my phone was impatient and questioned me what did I do to my phone??? (excuse me sir, shouldn't I ask you that?) The front desk girl was super nice by the way. She was chatting with me while I was waiting and told me they offered the warranty. And she also told me if I cracked my phone again, they would repair for me for free within the warranty. Within one month (within the warranty), I cracked my phone again and when I come back to the store, they told me a different story! they charged me another $89 dollars for repairing the screen! I tried to explain what happens but the owner told me that was the best they could offer and also said that I was trying to take advantages of them??????????????????????????????????????? (which is really rude and ridiculous) I can guarantee you that they also use a cheap material for your screen replacement! I was extra careful about my screen after replacement but yesterday I cracked my phone again by dropping from a low distance and the surface was flat. I will never go back to this store because all they want is your MONEY and they will never care the customers. I would rather choose apple to repair my phone just for a little bit higher price. I'm really surprised this place has more than 1 star. I will warn you to not come here. I came and was charged $146 for a cracked iPad mini 2 screen. They fixed it fast but when I got home I soon noticed, the iPad circle "joystick" was lifting and didn't feel smooth as it initially did. I waited and uses it a few days and then I take a look at it and the whole screen is now calibrated and all messed up, I can't view or even unlock my iPad. I bring it back in and they were immediately defensive. Jay who works there, accused me of letting my kids play with it. I DONT HAVE KIDS. It was so bizarre that he even blurted that out! After that he said give me $100 and I'll try to fix it. At that point I just left. When I left the touch mechanism didn't work properly so I went back. They wanted the code for my phone to check the phone so I left and went to Apple. They charge $129 to replace any iPhone 6 models and because I bought my phone there they replaced the glass without charging me!!! read more

They don't even deserve a star. They are completely over priced but I paid because I was desperate. I got my screen replaced and unfortunately when I got home there was a hair line crack in the screen I did not notice. I didn't have time to come back up there the next couple days. On day 4 I grabbed my phone out of my purse and it was cracked again. I don't think it would have broken if my screen was 100% perfect. When I get a chance to go back up there, they accused me of the damage and that they gave me a 100% perfect screen when I left. I usually go to LifeLine Repairs on W Holcombe, but they were going to charge me more for my iPhone 6 Plus so I decided to come here because it was a bit cheaper. BIG MISTAKE and lesson learned. I paid a total of a little over $200 for my screen to be replaced and also my battery since it wasn't charging. I asked the guy about the warranty and he said if anything happened, I could bring it back and have it fixed for free. WRONG. I brought it back last week because the bottom half of my screen stopped working so I couldn't unlock my phone. He said they could not replace it for free because it had a small, barely noticeable crack in it. I dropped my phone the day after I had gotten it fixed and it cracked again, but it had been working fine so that wasn't the issue. He kept arguing with me and said they can't replace it because it was cracked even though I had paid over $200 a few weeks ago to get it fixed. I had to pay to have it fixed AGAIN at a "discounted" price. Overall I was extremely dissatisfied with the service because I had to pay over $300 and I could've just gotten a new phone from Apple if I knew that. NEVER going back here again and I absolutely do not recommend them. read more

The screen did not fit flush, the colors weren't as vibrant and the screen was less responsive. Considering they charge almost as much as Apple, I expected more. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONES/TABLETS HERE! I had my screen replaced on my iPhone 5s about two and a half weeks ago. Cost over 100 bucks, but I needed it. After I got my phone back from them, my microphone wouldn't work at all and finger print wasnt always registering in my screen..I was frustrated, so I called them to see what they could do to fix the issue they caused. He told me to go back and see him, so I did that evening. Upon arrival, he said he couldn't do anything for me since my fingerprint was working at that moment and denied any wrongdoing regarding my mic. I left. Just yesterday I called again pleading with them to look at my phone, he asked for my receipt. I didn't have it and since they don't keep any files on what phones they fixed he at first said there was nothing he could do. I couldn't take it anymore not being able to answer phone calls and my fingerprint was getting worse so I went back. He told me my IPHONE WAS BENT and that they don't go anywhere near the microphone so he couldn't help me. I knew 110% that they messed up my phone, if you google microphone problems after screen replacement on google you'll see what I'm talking about. These guys don't know what they're doing and quite frankly don't give a sh*t about customer service for that matter either. I took my phone to dr. Cellphone off Richmond and 610 and had a diagnostic test run. Long story short, the idiots at iFix galleria didn't bother to reconnect my ear speaker, which caused the signal to my microphone to not be received properly on the logic board. As simple of a fix it was, I'm surprised the "talented, knowledgable" agents at iFix couldn't recognize their mistake. these guys are con artists and their company is a FRAUD! I came to Apple Store to fix my home button on my iPhone but since earlier I smashed my screen and replaced it somewhere else, the warranty was void. So I found this store in the other side of Gallaria. The service is awesome and they didn't increase the price even after they found the situation was more complicated than thought. These people are CROOKS!!! DO NOT go here. I took my phone here because it seemed legitimate since it was a store in the mall. I was extremely wrong. I got my phone back and it was my fault for not checking if everything was in good condition before I left. Basically, they made my phone even worse because my touch screen does not even work anymore! It is completely damaged and they also use a very cheap quality of glass because I dropped my phone lightly on my wooden floor at home (with a case on) and the screen cracked so easily!! I was literally so shocked and angry. When I took it back to the store these foreign men were soooo rude and he was accusing me for lying about everything. He had so much attitude and told me to go to court. They charged my $135 too by the way. They don't have you sign any papers or anything. Now when I look back, they just want to get your money as quick as possible and give your phone back as quick as possible so they would have no liability. Terrible! They replaced my screen on my 6 month old iPhone 6, and one week later the screen popped out of the case for no reason!!! Didn't drop or anything. Took back under warranty, and they glued it back really shotty. One corner of my screen still feels unsecured and pops when touched. Got in my car and plugged in my aux cord, and all the sudden every bit of my music is extremely distorted. After eliminating all other possibilities, it was definitely the phone. Not letting them do anymore damage. Gonna find a new repair facility. read more

Worst place to go for screen replacement. I've given them several chances to fix cracked screens, and they say it'll be a day to fix. I call back 2 days later, and it's "oh sorry, we don't have the screen in stock. It'll be a few more days." I mean seriously?!?! You're an iPhone/iPad repair shop, and you never have these screens in stock?!?! Communication is key in customer service, and this place has none. Stay away from this place!!! read more

I had a really good experience here. I left my iPhone screen cracked for a REALLY long time. It got to the point where I wasn't sure that fixing the screen would actually help any more as the LCD itself was showing burn marks and occasional static. It was in very bad shape. I decided to stop by while shopping at the mall and just ask how much they charged, just to get a better feel for the overall market price of screen repairs. The price they quoted me was at least $25 less than the next cheapest place in the area. In spite of a few negative reviews I decided to just get it done right then and there, especially since they told me they would also replace the LCD and it would only take 20 minutes, plus I was afraid that the damage was so bad it might just stop working any day. In 20 minutes I came back, the screen looks great. My wife had her screen fixed at the Apple store for a lot more and mine looks exactly the same. There is no problem in the quality that I can see. I would recommend this place for screen repairs, especially for the price. read more
