They fixed my iPad 3, but forgot to put one corner in so I went to press it in and it spider webbed my screen again. Apparently that is not covered by the warranty. Let me just start out by saying that if you have an iPhone that needs fixed, do NOT bother with Apple. The store in Arden-Arcade sucks, terrible service and they are no help whatsoever - They tried telling my fiancee and I that in order to fix a shattered screen on her iPhone 5c, they had to back up the phone and that there might be additional damage to the phone which of course they could fix for 'only' $260. After a quick search I found Tan and immediately went to his shop. Tan took one look at it and had it fixed in 40 minutes for $130 without any back ups or any of that unnecessary stuff. His work comes with a 90 day warranty as well. I can't say enough good things about Tan. Awesome job, it functions just as well as it did before the screen broke and it looks brand new again. I highly recommend Tan and his shop - very knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10, would have him fix my electronics again. read more

I was not impressed with the screen repair I received at iFix Tronics. When I brought my iPhone in to have the screen replaced, it was taken into the back room where after a few minutes hammering sounds erupted. I was the only customer in the shop. This sound did not give me a good feeling. The phone screen started to present faint light flare spots around the top edge (possibly where it was smacked into position) and eventually hairline cracks. I will not be returning for screen repair in the future. read more

This place is PERFECT !!! I had broken my iPhone 5 screen and chipped a corner pretty bad . I took it here because it was the cheapest and they gave me a warranty all for 100$ . It also just took 4 hours to replace and fix , and for other places like at the mall and the galleria said they needed a while day and they were charging me around 120 -150 . After I gotten it fixed my phone was literally brand new because he even showed me and guaranteed me that I am getting a new screen from Apple itself . This place is horrible. I had a broken mac laptop and I gave it to my brother to take it into this shop. My brother told me that the guy took the laptop and said that he will give us a call if he can or cannot fix it. 2 months pass by. I finally tell my brother to give him a call. He answers and says that he just tried to give us a call the day before. Long story short, why even lie that you called us when you didn't. I thought maybe he had damaged my laptop even more. These guys are the real deal!! I decided to give them a try when my son's X-Box did not update correctly the new program and messed up the system. He charged me only $80, which was much cheaper than having to ship it out to the Microsoft company. He had it completed the next day. I then took my wife's laptop in to get the cooling fan replaced, which Geek Squad was trying to charge me over $300. I took it to iFIX TRONICS, and he completed it that same day. I went to pick it up and every thing seemed fine when I tested it, but found that my computer would just shut down. The issue was non related to the fix, but he told me to bring it back in and let him keep it for a few days to find out what the problem was. I brought my computer here for a dc jack repair. Tan said it would be ready with in a day. I brought it to him on a thursday. I called him on saturday giving him and extra day. But he told me he did not have the part in stock and it would be done on tuesday or wednesday and i was fine with that. Wednesday came by and tan gave me a call and told me it was ready for pick up. I was happy so i thought... Until that night while using it. I noticed the backlit keyboard was not working and there was a slight bump near the right arrow key. I called tan imediately sadly he was closed so i left a message. The next morning(thursday) i decided to bring my laptop back to him to have it checked out. He said he would take a look at it. A few days passed and i gave him a call back to see what was wrong since he hadnt gave me a call. He said the right key was fixed but the backlit key board was still not working. Now it was just my word against his. I told him it was working before i brought it in, he told me he would try to fix it and will give me a call that same day. I never got a call. I decided to give him a few more days. Today which is thursday. So two weeks since my original date. I gave him a call and he told me he wouldnt be able to fix it and it cost 80 to fix. The dc jack was already a 110 dollar repair. I was pretty upset. He wouldnt do anything to compensate. I picked up my computer and im just going to buy a usb light when i need it in the dark. I would not recommend this place for fixing large items unless you want to come out with another problem. I did intend to give a 5 star review after he fixed my dc jack even though it took longer than i thought but now an $80 expense added did not make me happy. read more

DONT do business here! I called to ask how much an 3rd Generation iPod touch would be to repair. It wont hold a charge and only works while plugged into the wall. He paused and said $50 in an unsure voice like he was starting a negotiation. I said I'd think about it but instead I went directly to this store. When I asked about my iPod he now said the price was $40 so I figure they see how much you're willing to pay. He tells me it needs a new battery and will call me in a day or so. I called once a week for two weeks waiting for him to fix my iPod. He finally tells me its not the battery its the board and that he cant fix it. I ask if I can have my iPod back and I get silence. I ask again and an uncertain voice bargains with me....$20?. I'm upset now and he tells me it was a lot of work to change the battery, however I feel like my iPod is being held hostage and that I'm negotiating to get it back. It worked before while plugged into the wall, it just wouldn't hold a charge. Now he says its the board and that they cant fix it and I have to pay $20 to get it back. I feel that is good customer service to not charge me since they were not able to fix it. I FEEL USED and cheated because I got nothing in return. I wont return to this place and I hope YOU don't make the same mistake I did. Find someone else. UPDATE: Got my iPod back. It wont even turn on now. I have a completely useless iPod. After a flight from LA my screen on my Apple laptop was broken. I called at about 4pm (closing time) on a Saturday and spoke with someone who said they had one in stock and could fix it in a day $350. So I took it in at opening time on Monday morning and was told it would be the next day, fine, I needed it for a trip to Chicago on Wednesday. I was called later that day to say they didn't have the screen and would have to order it so it would not be ready until possibly Thursday (not in time for my trip). At this point I'm a bit upset but authorize the repair/wait. What can I do? I got back and picked it up and took it home. It could not pick up my high speed internet. I have had this computer for 4 yrs and NEVER had an issue with it. I take it back in and the guy says it has a virus (I thought Macs didn't get viruses) that I had downloaded. I never downloaded a virus and it wasn't there before I took it to them. Another $60 bucks and another 2 days to remove it. BTW it is still not working like it did before I took it to them. My PS3 stopped reading game discs and I looked the problem up online. It said possibly clean the laser and see if it works. Did that but I couldn't fit all the parts back together. Took it to this guy on Saturday around 11 and he said it needs a realignment and possibly a new laser. That's it didn't go into details or anything. The way he was talking to me made it seem like he was just trying to get the most money possible. For a realignment and new laser it was 100. And he would call me on Monday when it was ready. I was expecting by the end of the day. 100 seemed a bit steep for it but whatever I did it. Monday comes and no one calls me. Tuesday comes and no one calls. I end up just going there and he just goes ok that's 100. Didn't tell me what he did or anything. I was like so you had to replace the laser? And he goes uh yea new laser. This star rating is based on customer service only. I was referred by a friend yesterday to help me with a unique problem. We recently took in a foreign exchange student from Kazakhstan. She brought her mobile phone with her. We need to get her a US SIM card and local phone number. The problem is her phone is locked and we have a language barrier so I'm not able to convey the problem to her in terms that she can understand. Trying to take matters into my own hands I decided to reach out and find a business that may be able to help me, or at least let me know what I can do. So I called this place and the man was very rude. He said no we do not unlock phones here, so how do you like that?!? Then there was an awkward pause. I think he may have thought I was trying to unlock a stolen phone. Although I appreciate that this business does not help criminals get away with their dastardly deeds, I would like to be given the benefit of the doubt. Perhaps he could have asked why I needed the phone unlocked, instead of just assuming. It was rude and I certainly wouldn't want to revisit this place for any other types of needs based on how I was treated. read more

I thought this place took care of its customers as in the past I had good service, however times have changed since I did my first review of the place in 2013, I had to take my computer because i had a corrupt OS and they went ahead and reinstalled it but did not even open the tower as i had two hard drives , and when i called them to ask what happened to my data on my other drive they said Windows only recognized one drive and then tell me they did not even open computer to check , and when i brought it back next day , they opened it to find that the other drive BURNT out , and they said the disk was not recoverable and I had to go to a data recovery, NOT TRUE, I brought it to another Shop which i reviewed today 2/11/16 and they fixed it without having to go that route and did a complete diagnostic check. This place IFIX Tronics nickels and dimes you as well, as when they open the tower, the owner TAN asked if they wanted to clean it as there was dust and said they charge $20 to use air to blow it out and said it could burn out my system with all that dust (using a scare tactic) which if they did further detailed check like other shop with the drive burning out i needed to get a new power supply put in which other shop did for me. I will tell you now to STAY AWAY FROM IFIX Tronics!! They don't take care of customers , are not through, and will nickel and dime you. I spent $95 -( $75 for Windows reinstall , and $20 to clean it with air) It also says DATA Recovery in their description which they dont do , as in my case they sent me away, If you need computer repairs i have a review i did with company i recommend. I WILL NOT USE IFIX TRONICS EVER AGAIN!!! and will tell all my friends , family and the public not to use them.. read more

CoD Ghost came out a couple weeks ago and played it on my PS3 for a couple weekends straight. Unfortunately my PS3 got the YLOD. Brought it to initiate and a day later I'm back at it. Worst place I ever could of took my ps3. I took it in because it had fuzzy screen and he said he would take care of it. I played for two weeks and now its doing it again I took it in and they couldn't figure whats wrong with it. They also lost a part off of my system and never mentioned it or offered to replace it. I dropped my Mom's iPad and after I recovered from my heart attack, I examined the damage. Corner glass was cracked and the corner of the frame slightly bent. Mom didn't want me to repair it since it was functioning fine. A month later, she noticed weird things starting to happen. I thought it must be due to the hard fall on my tile floor. I had called another highly rated Yelp iPad repair shop and wasn't pleased at all with the phone conversation I had with whoever answered the phone. So I called iFix Tronics. He quoted me $100 to fix the glass and was confident he could fix the other issues I mentioned. I brought the iPad to iFix Tronics within 30 minutes and upon examination, Tan said the issues my Mom was having was probably due to the old (and it was VERY old) iOS. He would update it for me and fix the glass for cheaper than the other company quoted. I had some doubts that the screen rotation issue and the "lost" email were due to the iOS but sure enough, when we picked up her iPad, everything was fixed. (Musta been the old iOS after all!) Third time's a charm! After reading all of the positive reviews I decided to bring my computer for repair. I have a 15" Macbook Pro. I attempted to fix the computer myself beforehand by reading forums that discussed similar problems to what I was having. After all the research I found the best thing to do was to reinstall the operating system. I did that but it didn't work. I took it to the iFix Tronics. I described to him the problems I was having with it. I also told him that since I couldn't fix it that it might be a hardware problem because I had owned it for about 2 years and I used it nonstop. I left the laptop in his care. The next day he calls me and tells me that it is ready. Charges me $80 for reinstalling the operating system, which I had already tried. I figured I must have done something wrong. That same day it crashed. So I brought it back because he gave me a 3 month warranty. Again, I left it in his care. A few days later he calls me and tells me that it is ready. I take it him free of charge. He tells me that he reinstalled the operating system, again. I took it him and it appeared that he had installed a newer operating system, which he didn't tell me but I noticed the difference. A few hours later it crashed again. So I took for a third time. By this time he was almost furious. I could tell he was angry by looking at his face and his tone of voice. He tried blaming me for installing a bad software. Something I would never do because I know better. I described the symptoms to him one last time and he seemed to finally get it. I decided to leave it there once more. A couple of days later he calls me and tells me that it was in fact a hardware issue. He needed my approval to fix it because there would be an additional charge. When I went to go pick it up I knew it was not going to crash again. Charged me $200. Apart from the first $80. Overall it was a great repair. I saved a lot of money. He gave me another 3 month warranty and it hasn't crashed since. I was a little disappointed that it took him 3 times to figure it out but he did a good job. He was very friendly and he seemed to know what he was doing. read more

Dropped off a PS3 with a dead optical drive at 3pm, picked it up that night. They charged exactly what they estimated and after a full system reset, it worked fine. The system seems a little more crash-prone, but it's 5 years old, with a lot of hours of use, so I can't really blame the repair for that. Would definitely go here again. read more

Had my Iphone 6 screen replaced at this place and three weeks later it began cracking from the top end by itself. The screen was defective plain and simple. I went back to get it replaced and the store employee told me that the screen is nearly unbreakable and it was my fault that it cracked, so they were not going to fix it for free. I tried asking for the touch screen maker, so I could maybe send it off to get fixed, but the employee told me that he couldn't because he got the screen from a Chinese company and was not allowed to give me no information. I wish I would of read the Yelp reviews earlier and I would of just gone somewhere else, but that is what I get for going cheap. read more
