I wanted to get my lashes done for the Made in America festival so I called Katina literally at 10AM that day, and she was able to get me in at 1PM. PERFECT!!! Now this was my first time getting my lashes done with Katina but she was a gem! She worked with me on the price, because I was on a MAJOR budget, and she made me feel comfortable while getting my lashes done. We had great conversation about music and life, which was nice. She is very insightful and intelligent so having conversation with individuals like that is always great! She even had music on for a soothing, calm experience. It was great! At the end of it, I looked at my lashes and was amazed! Not only did I look great with my new extensions but I felt good too! Awesome :D It is safe to say that I will forever be a customer and have recommended her to many friends who are excited to visit Katina soon! Thanks Katina girl!!!! :D Favs: She is so flexible, professional, and my lashes came out perfect! Would Change: I wish she was my sister so I could get them done all the TIME! Ha, Ha.

Her Lash extensions enhance your natural beauty with or without makeup it's amazing How I always feel prepped and pretty with my extensions. Let's start with the ease of booking, her schedules provide so much flexibility especially if you don't work 9-5's like myself; she communicates with you efficiently and professionally. Also as a lash extension newbie I wasn't sure what to get, what would fit my face, I had concerns about the health of my own lashes. My first time visiting, she first educated me on lash extensions and how to properly care for my lashes then did a consultation. She demonstrated the effects of the different lengths and styles and still I was so indecisive, she applied the extensions contoured to my face and eyes so perfectly now I'm a "Drama Queen" type girl. My extensions stay on and full for 3-4 weeks consistently where All I need is a refill. I constantly get compliments even on my 4th week. My natural lashes continue to grow and are FULL. She is so delicate when applying and has amazing customer service and hospitality skills like she makes you want to be her friend, long term client, take her lash courses even if that's not your thing lol like she just is all around amazing. Most importantly the cleanliness, sanitation and comfort at her salon is unmatched. Everything she uses is of quality from the lashes themselves to her tools and products and over all service, so much quality. She really is the Queen! I highly recommend the Mink Queen to anyone who's looking for lash extensions, or even if you're a lash technician she offers a variety of products and services and honestly can't believe I'm saying this but I think the pricing should be higher because she is a Top Tier Lash technician and retailer. She provides you with items to care for your lashes after every visit and has products for purchase. Her lash bath solution and brush is amazing, I had some terrible eyeshadow once and was afraid I would lose my lashes trying to wash it off nope her products are so good I cleaned my lashes without losing a single strand. If you're in the DMV and need to get lashed get Minked instead by the Queen herself.

She did a very good job of making sure she showed me pictures and understood what I wanted. The full set takes about 2 hours. The owner MiMi, contacted me via text about 2 weeks later to see if I was ready for a fill. There was some back and forth about the date and time and in the end I just kind of, popped up at the shop. Mimi had someone come in to assist me. I wasn't 100 percent pleased with my fill (the technician did what I requested but I wasn't prepared for the dramatic change and panicked!) I communicated that I wasn't sure I liked this particular look to MiMi later on that night. She contacted me the next morning to schedule me to come back in so that she could revise my lashes. I actually ended up seeing Emmy (Mimi herself wanted to assist me but due to a scheduling conflict, I requested and earlier appt and Emmy was available)... she was awesome(again!). The lashes have amazing staying power. You could probably go 3 to 4 weeks before you NEED a fill in, albeit with a few lashes gone. Emmy is now the only technician I will book. She is super sweet and will make sure you are happy! Emmy and Mimi, your customer service is A++++! Pro-tips - bring a sweater or wear long sleeves..the room gets very cool. - bring an ipod/phone with earbuds.
