Bought a hearthstone stove. Great price. Same day service. First class installation. I've used this company several times and always have had great work done.

We called over a week in advance for an inspection on a house we are closing on, already in escrow. I let the person booking know that we needed a sewer inspection and that contingencies were being removed so it was crucial that we get the inspection as promised. I was told we would get an estimate for services in advance. Despite calling back three times prior to the inspection, I never got an estimate. It was too late to find a new service. On the day, we were able to get a price, which seemed fair. Our window was 12p-2p. Alan, the tech, showed up at 2:30 and only when it was time to do the video inspection of the sewer did they discover that the battery for the video unit was not charged. They dispatched another battery, but our realtor had to leave by 3:15, and there was just not enough time. How do you show up to do a video inspection and not have a charged battery, not have a backup, and not KNOW in advance your battery is dead? OK, not great. Alan promised us he would return at 10:30 the next morning. I explained to him that this meant we'd have to book another night at the hotel, and incur expenses for the dogs, food etc. All in all, it cost us an additional $350 because of their failure to bring a charged battery, Not happy. My jaw hit the floor when Alan informed us that there'd likely be an additional charge to come back the next day which was a Saturday, but then quickly backtracked, saying it wasn't his call. We spoke to someone on the phone who assured us that since the error was theirs, they wouldn't uncharge us for having to come back the next day. Well, thank you SO MUCH. Needless to say, the next day, after having incurred a $350 hotel stay, plus dining, toiletries, etc. NO ONE SHOWED. The realtor was with us, having left her family for the appointment. After 40 minutes of trying to figure out where the hell Alan was, we were told that unless we paid the additional $150 - again DUE TO THEIR MISTAKE WHICH ALREADY COST US AN ADDITIONAL DAY AND $350 - no one would show. And they didn't!! UNREAL. The guy we spoke to on the phone was cold, displayed no remorse or empathy, It felt like a total shakedown. What a great grift - have your battery not charged and up-charge people for it when you can hold them up in the wild. We ended up calling USA Drain and Plumbing who were courteous, understanding, and sent someone right out to do the job at a fair price. They also wrote a great report. Again, I hate to write bad reviews as you can see from the vast majority of my reviews. This one though left us no choice. I wish there was an option for ZERO stars.

His tablet has a new technology that measured the room, calculated how much energy is lost through the windows, and accounted for my vaulted ceilings. With this information he then was able to recommend two different models of heat pump that would work well with my solar panels. He expedited paperwork and offered financing at an affordable rate. In addition I was given a veteran discount!

The salesperson who came out told me my ducts were "ripped" and needed full replacement, quoting nearly $6,000. He stated this was the only solution to resolve the smell. After I explained that I could not afford that, he then strongly pushed a $1,300 air purifier as something I "really should" purchase. Feeling uneasy, I sought a second opinion from an independent duct specialist and shared the same photos. I was told the ducts are intact and that the outer layer condition does not impact airflow or cause odor. I was also advised that a rain-related musty smell is more consistent with a moisture issue, such as a roof or pipe leak -- not duct failure. This experience was extremely stressful. Being presented with a costly, urgent repair and then upsold an air purifier -- only to later learn the ducts may not be the issue at all -- left me feeling misled. I would strongly encourage others to seek a second opinion before agreeing to major HVAC duct replacements.

This is my 3rd engagement of Desert Air Conditioning…read more The 1st was to replace the ductwork in the attic, as it was leaking like a sieve. Very happy as noted in my original post below this update. 2nd time, (which unfortunately I didn't Yelp about but should have!), Desert Air replaced my HVAC System which was very old and far from efficient. Again, an excellent experience all around. My problem has always been my office room. The previous owner built out the room to the edge of the overhang, which previously protected the room from the sun & heat. Since there was no protection from the overhang now, nor was any insulation installed for that area, the room would get very hot in the months when the sun was lower in the sky and would hit the room directly thru the 3 sliders facing the sun. I was debating a mini-split or "Lennox Sensor", which a neighbor of mine had installed which helped them with a similar issue. In November I spoke with Ken Esposito from Desert Air, and after several conversations with him and his engineer (Brad?), we decided my best solution would be to create 3 Zones for my home: 1) Living, Dining, Kitchen & Hallway 2) 2 Bedrooms & Bathroom 3) Office & Bathroom. My HVAC System can only do 1 thing at a time (Heat or A/C), however the plan was to install a Controller that would open and close the Dampers in each of 3 Zones as needed for Heat or A/C. And I have a thermostat in each Zone to control/set the temperature for that area. WOW! It's only been a week since the installation was done! What a difference this has made - especially my office room! The entire house temperature is balanced - whatever is needed to maintain a steady temperature throughout my home from room to room! I couldn't be any happier! By the way, all 3 thermostats work with Alexa!! My thanks to all the guys from Desert Air Conditioning for their recommendations, proposed solution & installation. Ken Esposito, Comfort Advisor Brad (?) (engineer) Isidro, George & Alex - who did the actual installation. Another shout out to Desert Air Conditioning! Great Job!
