I had enjoyed my experience at Ideal Image until there was a mishap with an appt. I'm not even sure I made the appointment, but I was charged a no show. I called three times trying to talk to someone. Their App has been down for months so I couldn't confirm or see an appointment in my account. Customer service is just pure script talk. No one will call you back. Unfortunately, they lost a customer over $50. In the end I disputed it with my credit card company and got my money back. I have some complaints regarding ideal image and the way they have treated me. On one I occasion I filed a complaint because my nurse used settings to high against my will causing my skin to well and peel and turn red. The most recent occasion I wasn't allowed to be seen because I had my daughter with me. I wasn't allowed told that no children were allowed. I said ok that's fine but why are there no signs stating no children allowed anywhere in the office nor is it mentioned during the scheduling call or website. When I asked to be comped for my visit as it was a total inconvenience I was dismissed abruptly. The manager returned my call and was very dismissive to my needs as a customer when I told her that my car was on the shop, school was out that day, and that I had taken two buses to be seen for my appointment. She told me that I was just having a bad day and that it wasn't their fault I had taken two buses and that under no circumstances were they going to comp my visit because they don't expect people to bring their kids. read more

I paid $3,074 for 3 sessions of cool sculpting. When I arrived for my second session I was told that I was not a good candidate and and they would be refunding me $2,307 for the two sessions not used and offered me other services. I declined and asked for the refund to be processed. I signed a non-disclosure agreement with the amount of $2,307 as the agreed to refund amount on it. Ideal image only refunded me $1,537 and stated that because of promotions and adjustments made by accounting, that is my refund. Customer service is rude, I have been consistently calling Edina and the corporate offices for months. I filed a complaint with the BBB and have no resolution. According to my contract I am entitled to 33% of my purchase price for each unused treatment, so I should have received a refund for 2,028.84. "Vanessa", the manager who told me I would receive the "2,307" refund now says there is nothing else that she can do for me and I received the correct refund. This company has some of the worst customer service I have ever dealt with, I would not recommend anyone to spend money with this company. read more

I've been with ideal image for 2 years now I'm extremely disappointed in the service I received I signed up for the membership being told it would only cost me $20 for retouch on laser hair removal since then they have managed to put that cost up to $100 per session. I wasn't happy with the service from the very beginning and I voiced that several times to the women that work there nothing was done. The service was extremely fast taking less than 3 minutes for them to complete the laser hair removal. When I initially signed up for the service I was told by the woman over the phone the $20 for retouch would never change since now I'm a member which is a complete lie I was told any dark hair that I had would be gone which is also a lie. If anything grew back it would be one or two I could pay the $20 and it would be gone another lie. went from five stars to two. I have recommended this place to many people and convinced one of my friends to buy two packages. All was good until today. I had to interact with someone at the front desk that was very unprofessional and didn't know how to deal with a customer. I wish I had gotten her name, but I forgot to do that since I was doing her job for her. Previously, I have received text messages from Ideal Image to confirm my appointment. I have also received phone calls from them to confirm my appointment. I have always confirmed all my appointments and been there on time. Today, I went in for my scheduled appointment, and they could not find me in the system. The lady asked my name twice and then my phone number to let me know that I was not scheduled for today. She further informed me that my appointment was auto-canceled because I did not confirm it. I explained to her that I had never received a text or a phone call this time. She automatically assumed I was lying and went to her computer to check if I had received something. She couldn't find anything and never responded to me. Instead of helping me with what to do next she started talking to another staff member and checked in another client. Finally, I had to ask her what I could do next. She offered me an appointment for two hours later. Since I did not want to sit and wait for two hours she scheduled another one for the next day. I am glad she could book something for me, but her tone of voice and attitude was less than friendly. Her demeanor was telling that she just wanted me to leave. I had to ask her continuously to figure out what was going on with the scheduling system. I didn't receive an appointment scheduled text like I usually do. I informed her of that and she just kept staring at her computer. I gave her a different email and a different phone number to receive my confirmation texts/email, considering if something was wrong with my phone. I still didn't receive anything from Ideal Image as she booked my next appointment. I was coming up with ideas and solutions so she could help me!!! She had no will to work with me. I was concerned that the next appointment I make, and if I don't receive a confirmation text, it will automatically cancel again. I wanted to solve this issue before I left. I even made sure to tell her that I understand this is not her fault and that I work in scheduling, and sometimes stuff like this happens, but she continuously tried to pin it on me. She tried to blame my phone, phone carrier, email inbox, and then me by insisting that I must have texted NO/STOP to stop the text messages from getting delivered to me. I felt extremely insulted because of her condescending behaviour. I was very disappointed and had to clarify that this is not my fault and something is wrong at her end, and she needs to help me by fixing this. Again, I came up with a solution and suggested that she makes a note under my appointment that I need to be called to confirm my appointment or it will get auto-canceled. When I insisted a lot, she finally said to me that she had made a ticket request with IT and they would call me. I am not sure if she did make a note under my appointment. She was very unpleasant, unprofessional, and unhelpful. I wasted 20 minutes of my life trying to solve an issue working with a person who obviously had no intention of helping me. I have been visiting the Edina location for almost two years and have always had a good experience. The nurses and other staff are always welcoming and friendly. I went in for coolsculpting last year. I was so excited as I was getting this procedure done so I looked/felt better in a wedding dress. The process itself was easy but they didnt put the applicators where I wanted them and when I asked if they could move them they said no and just started the procedure. I went in for my after visit and the nurse brought out my "before" photos. She tried convincing me of some results when there was NO CHANGE. I didnt loose inches, no pounds lost, etc. I told the nurse that I dont see a change and then she proceeds to say "oh it oftentimes takes at least two rounds to see results". Are you kidding me?! Why wasnt this told to me in my very first appointment? At the end of my follow up appointment the nurse just pushes me into their financial office to try to get me signed up for a second round to where I immediately told them no. Now I'm stuck paying thousands of dollars for s service that I was promised to get results from but never did. Dont waste your time or money. They will just scam you. read more

Ideal image does a great job of making customers think they are getting a deal on the services they provide, but their offers and "lifetime guarantee membership" are a scam. You have to pay an annual feel of $250 to retain your membership, and the discounted prices are subject to increase at any time. The 'free' service you can pick with your annual fee must be used within 3 months of the auto-renewal. I had an appointment for my "free" service, and ideal image called me the day of to cancel it because their employee was out sick. When I called to rebook, they wouldn't honor the free service since it was beyond the 3-month window to use it. The '90%' off laser hair removal touch ups' is actually 90% off of the price of a full treatment, so it is still ~$200 per area. The $8.90 per unit Botox was increased to $10/unit, even though all their marketing still claims it is $8.90. I could go on and on.....I will never return and I highly recommend you don't patronize this business. read more

It's hard to give a rating when one thing went well but other things did not. The good: the technician who did my laser hair removal was understanding, kind and friendly. She did a good job. She also called the next day to see how I was doing and ask if I had any questions. The bad: 1. When I called to inquire about laser hair removal I wasn't really ready to sign up. However, I was strongly urged/pressured to sign up that day as a sale was ending. So I signed up. A few days later I decided I'd made a mistake so I called to cancel. I was told I couldn't. I could switch to another service, but I couldn't cancel. So, beware. 2. I am using their payment plan. Due to me accidentally forgetting an appointment, rescheduling and rescheduling again as I was sick the second time, my first actual appointment wasn't until March. I had it in my mind that I wouldn't have to pay until after my first appointment. But no, I got a call before my first appointment from the credit company telling me my payment was late. I know I was late, but I was irritated that I was being tracked down for a late payment before any service had been rendered. Recently I missed a payment again. I know, my fault. But I noticed my error pretty quickly and I made that payment plus the next payment that wasn't yet due. I still got a call before that next payment was even due telling me I had a late payment because I hadn't paid the $35 penalty. I was in the hospital at the time and told the guy, but he still tried to pressure me to make the payment. He finally agreed that I could call when I got out of the hospital. I now have payments set up automatically so I won't be getting any more calls. Whatever you do, make sure you make your payment on time. The calls are not pleasant. A year ago I had a terrible reaction to the Botox so I could not continue anymore services. I had paid $250.00 to be in the club to get discounts on Botox plus the cost of 27 units of Botox. After first time I ended up having to go to a dermatologist to get reversal drop's because of the swelling and terrible reaction from Botox. I talked to several different people in office and online and phone about what can I do. I had spent $450.00 that now I was completely out. So today after canceling my subscription after a year ago I was charged $299.00 once again from this business. They do not deserve your business and support go to a qualified dermatologist office for Botox. What a scam! They also had cancelled an appointment I had they said because of sick worker when I rescheduled they said it was past a deadline... in the reviews I see it not only happened to me but many more. I just had my initial consultation and first appointment for laser hair removal and I'm so impressed with the facility. I submit an interest form a few days ago and within an hour I had been contacted by phone and email to schedule my initial consultation. The visit was efficient, team was friendly and the facility was clean and professional. Chandra reviewed the process, payment options and quickly moved through the paperwork while answering my questions along the way. Never did I feel rushed, and I felt like they really valued my time. It's an expensive process but they make it affordable with payment options spread over 12-36 months. I decided to move forward with the process and they said I could stay and knock out my first appointment right then and there. This is the only time they could have sped up the process. I did go for coolsculpting in Ideal Image last year as they advertised that it is a noninvasive procedure. I went for three sittings and didn't see any desirable change even when I was on strict protein diet with exercise. No change absolutely and I did express my concern and no one even cared. I don't think they even have an idea of how it even works. I did ask for refund or alternate solutions or extra sessions and nothing worked. They never even call you for your appointment even after you pay them a huge amount for a service. Very unprofessional. Few years ago, I did go for laser treatment for full legs and facial hair. That ended up with burns all over my the back of my legs. They don't care as it is not their body and money. Huge bunch of useless people who have no clue on what even works or not. My consult was great, first appointment was great, second appointment was BEYOND uncomfortable. I walked in on time and waited in the lobby for 30 mins before being taken back to a room. While waiting I over heard all of the employees in the desk area talking about previous patients body's and how their genital area was weird or gross, just really horrible things. The lady who took me back seemed beyond unhappy to be at work and was very inattentive during the appointment. Today is 4.16.19, a week or so ago I called and asked if I was able to tan since I'm going to Florida, I was told YES as long as you cover up the area from the sun and wear sun tan lotion which I DID. She said as long as it wasn't a nude beach I'd be more then okay. Well today 4.16.19 I arrive to my appointment to be told the complete opposite thing and now I am unable to return for 4 WEEKS. While being told this information in the room she was very rude, huffing her breathe, and not nice. It was the same lady I had previous at my second appt. Very unfortunate as I was excited about this whole processes. The two treatments I have had I love. The progress I'm seeing is great, it's unfortunately almost all the staff there that makes me not want to return. & I have contacted customer service and have revived nothing back so that obviously doesn't do anything. Do not go here!! I am extremely disappointed with ideal image. I bought 9 sessions of laser hair removal on two regions of my body for $4000 in 2018. I had finished 7 sessions prior to the pandemic. I am a nurse on a COVID floor so during the pandemic I stayed home and away from public places because I did not want to risk infecting others. Once I received my vaccine, I received my 8th session of laser hair removal in July. I was scheduled to receive my final laser hair removal in September 2020 but I found out I was pregnant. I called the facility to find out if I could receive my botox and my laser hair removal. I was told that since I was pregnant they could not treat me with the botox that I had already bought and laser hair removal. I was told that they would extend my contact until I was finished breastfeeding. I called the company last week to see if I could restart my laser hair removal but not use my botox since I am still breast feeding. The company told me that my botox and my laser hair removal has expired that I would have to repurchased both. Highly unprofessional, poor attention to detail, and laughable communication. Years ago, I used their services with good experiences. A few months ago, I booked a single area to be treated. They canceled my appt due to a malfunction with their laser. When I did have the appt, clearly the problem was not fixed, as the laser burned my skin. The employee had no idea. This after several scheduling errors. In addition, although I was half naked, multiple other employees came into the treatment room unannounced. I was unhappy, but gave them another chance. They again cancelled my appt, saying they had tried to contact me. They had not. I asked for a refund (minus the one treatment I had), which I thought was fair. They refused. I could not get them on the phone. Finally contacted the BBB and my credit card. They refunded my $. It only took 5 weeks after my first attempt to reach Customer Service. I went here because of a Black Friday promotion. It said $8 a unit but when I arrived they said I had to by 50 units to get that price. They did not tell me that on the phone. But since I was there and their reg. Price is $10, I decided to go for it. A very long check in process and they only inject in a few places. They told me they don't do brow lifts because of lid drop. Which set off alarms. I wish I would have walked out. I know exactly the amount of units and injection areas. She told me I'd need 7 more units than I usually get. I refused and she said they'd make it work. They can't split the syringes so, they put too much in my 11's. So This is going to be long winded. I went here with facial hair, the consult was a bit overwhelming mostly due to the price . even with a discount it was about 4 grand. I did 2 treatments and didn't see any results. Looking at my hair under light its a bit ashy and had a reddish tint. They asked me to at least try 3 treatments. after 3 treatments I saw no results. Everyone was super nice and friendly this entire time and I was pretty neurotic so kudos for them putting up with me. After 3 treatments they sent a complaint to the higher ups and I was given a FULL refund. I couldn't believe it to be honest. This is how my cosmetic procedure dreams became a real-life nightmare, full of broken promises. They'll give you the run around when they make a mistake and aren't sure how to correct it. I had Botox done and ended up with one spock eye brow and the other side with a loopy eye. When I went to see them regarding the loopy eye I was not welcome anymore by the nurse. I could sense her frustration and inconvenience I had caused. All she did is take some pictures and told me to wait 2 weeks. Two weeks passed, I drove 35 minutes just for them to tell me my eye looked better but to wait another 2 weeks( Now that's a month later). In the meantime, I'm working and walking around in public looking like the hunchback of Notre Dame. 3rd appointment (6 weeks later) they tried to correct their mistake because at that point I was frustrated and told them I was tired of driving every two weeks for them to just tell me to come back in another 2 weeks. Up to this day my eye lid is still a little loopy (6 months later). Now the Cool Sculpting procedure was a total rip off and did not work. I was told all I needed was one session to get rid of the belly fat (muffin top). Never was I told that I MAY need a 2nd session. I paid $1,080 for no results. After waiting 4.5 months with no results I contact Ideal Image. I have been working out over the summer but the fat that was supposed to freeze with Cool Sculpting was still there. They suggested I make an appointment and that's where my ordeal began again. 1st appointment, they took pictures and the nurse agreed there wasn't much or any improvement. They tried to take me to their finance room shortly after taking the pictures. When I questioned why I was brought to that room they quickly dismissed me and said they'll talk to the head nurse and will get back. Well a week later and no calls. Finally, I called and talked to the head nurse and was told to scheduled another appointment. 2nd appointment she looked at the area of my body and agreed there was very little to no improvement. She mention some people may only get a 5% fat reduction while others can get up to 25% (I was never told that, all I was told when I paid the $1,080 was I would see a 25% fat reduction and one session enough). The head nurse would talk to the regional manager and consult my situation and get back to me. Five days later and no called from anyone until I called corporate in Tampa Florida. I was told to scheduled another appointment because now the regional manager wanted to see me. 3rd appointment, the regional manager is there with another nurse. The nurse who claimed she was the top expert in this field in the state of Minnesota tried to convenience me there were visible results. I pointed out the visible result she saw were from me working out over the summer but the muffin top was still there. I agreed to pay $1080 because I was promised the muffin top would be eliminated in one session. The so called top notch nurse insisted there was less fat because of the Cool Sculpting procedure not because I've been exercising. When she had no luck to fool me regarding the final results, she mentions I needed a 2nd session but I would have to pay for it. They would give me a discount but cannot give me a complimentary session. When I question them why would I pay more money for something that I had no results the first time, the nurse finally said that's all they could do for me and pretty much pushed me out the door and had the audacity to tell me to think about it and get back to them about getting a 2nd session for a discount. I took the time to write this review because I do not want anyone else to be ripped off like I did and to informed the public to be very careful when dealing with these people. They will be nice until something goes wrong. Overall Cool Sculpting does NOT work for some individuals and is not worth running the risk of paying thousands of dollars for something that may or may not work. I have an appointment today, and was given a number to call when I got there due to Covid restrictions. They could only get me in for one service but was told to call that same number to see if they can get me in for the secondary one. I've been on hold for almost an hour and now I am a little bit skeptical about the clinic as how do I show up for my Appointment to let them know I am there so they can come out and do a temper check etc. when the hold time is over an hour? I literally live that far away and I'm now going to drive to the clinic because it would be less then the Hold time and unfortunately I will have to enter the clinic because calling them will not be of any assistance. A little strange that that is the direction that they give you is to call when you get to your appointment so they can come out to your car with the holf times over an hour so do you show up for your appointment several hours early and sit in the parking lot hoping that they answer their phone? I will never go back to this place and strongly suggest to anyone else to go somewhere besides Ideal Image. My experience with these people and their lack of professionalism is beyond anything I've seen and experienced in many years from a business. When a problem arises from a medical error as in my experience they will not take any responsibility and will do anything they can to deny any wrongdoing. I had Cool Sculpting and Botox procedure done back in March 2019. First, the Botox procedure didn't go as plan. I ended up with a droopy eye. When I called them to inform them about having a droopy eye after the Botox procedure, they made me drive 6 times in a two-month time span before they dare to try fixing the problem. They kept giving me the runaround and telling me to come back in another 2 weeks. For weeks I'm working and walking around with a droopy eye because of their lack of medical experience. Finally, I had to get very serious with them and told them I was tired of driving 60 miles back and forward without them attempting to fix my eyelid. The head nurse finally tried to fix the problem by injecting more Botox and I had some improvement but not much. The $1,080, Cool Sculpting procedure was a total failure. The area I wanted them to focus on never improved, actually there was no visual improvements anywhere. After four months I called them to inform them I had no improve results after the Cool Sculpting. I was told to schedule an appointment. A week later I go and the nurse that saw me said it's excess skin. When that didn't fly, they tried to tell me I gained weight, even though I weight the same as I did 4 months ago. Then they tried taking me to their financial dept. When I asked why I was being sent there they suddently said they will talk to the head nurse and she'll call me back that I could go now. Well she didn't call me back until I called 4 days later. Then the head nurse told me to schedule another appointment because she wanted to exam and see the little to no results I had after paying $1,080. At the 2nd appointment the head nurse, examed me and apologies because her boss was supposed to be there as well to exam me but something came up in the Woodbury location so she couldn't be there to see me. The head nurse admitted there was no improvement and said she will do everything she could to have her boss approved a second treatment. I was assured I would hear from them in 2 days. Well, 4 days went by and I hadn't heard back from the head nurse or her boss. I called them again and after speaking to the head nurse who was suppose to call me 2 days ago she tells me that now she can see some fat loss in the pictures but I needed a second treatment and I will have to pay for a second treatment. She said people's final result varied. Now she saw results in the picture but she didn't see any results while I was there, strange? Our conversation over the phone was as follow: Head nurse: "Every patient is different some people see only 5% fat reduction while others can see up to 25% fat reduction. In your case, you only had about 5% fat reduction so you need another round but you'll have to pay for it because we already gave you complimentary Botox." Me: "You didn't expect me to pay for your medical error and caused me to end up with droopy eye, is that the complimentary Botox you're talking about?" Head nurse: (no comment) Me: "If you would've told me I might be one of those patients that will only see a 5% fat reduction I will have never agreed risking to pay $1080 for a 5% fat reduction." She had nothing to say and told me she'll have her boss call me back that day. The location manager was supposed to call me back and as of today 4 days later I still haven't heard from anyone. Don't let these unprofessional people who lack medical knowledge fool you. Find other establishments where they will take responsibility for their wrongdoing and actually returned calls when you need them the most. Most importantly you want a facility that will fully be truthful regarding the Cool Sculpting results and try fooling you and untruthful. Update: I had to call and ask for the location manager 5 days later. She answered and told me she was really busy at the moment and in the middle of something but she promised to call me back that afternoon. She called me 2 days later when I'm at work and are unable to take their calls. I called today 2 days later during business hours and it went straight to voice mail, left another message. I had the worst service and the treatment didn't even work. They will screw you over any way they can.

If you want to be hair free and lose that stubborn belly fat, definitely go to Ideal image! I've had nothing but amazing results. I've had my abdomen coolsculpted and my clothes fit some much nicer, no lumps or bumps. The laser hair removal is my favorite service however at ideal. Horrible experience. I had a skin reaction to the treatment and had it documented by my physician. I submitted what should have been more than sufficient evidence to have my money refunded and I have been in a financial dispute since. Ideal Image has not returned my calls, has provided misinformation to the company that provides credit for the treatment and has been a horrific business partner. They lied about sending me a settlement agreement and have refused to handle this matter professionally. As soon as I determine where the agreements I signed permit me to lodge a small claims action, I will pursue legal remedies (as it stands, I'm STILL waiting for the paperwork to make that determination). read more

I did ColdSculpting at Ideal Image a year ago and that was the worst decision I have ever made. There was no results and the procedure was awful. I would not recommend anyone to do this because you would be very disappointed with the outcomes. read more
