Fantastic job! Never knew ikea furniture (a sofa!) came in 80 pieces (give or take a few) It came in 3 boxes for a loveseat. I couldn't even figure out how to put the frame cover on. The instructions r written in pictures. May as well have written them in a foreign language I called Scott as I saw he has done quite a bit of work with assembling ikea furniture. I had family coming on a Saturday & I called Scott I think on a Wednesday night. He answered immediately & said he would call back with his availability. Not too long after, he called & came out on the Friday morning! He put my sofa together in less time than it took for me to organize a drawer. He then hung up several photos (fixed the frame of one of them for me), mounted an ikea trash can to my bathroom wall & he took out all the boxes to my dumpster. He was kind, professional & a pleasure to have. Always refreshing to find someone who does what they say & more! He is affordable (not cheap but not expensive) & does the job right & well THE FIRST TIME! Thank u, Scott! The sofa looks better than the one in IKEA's showroom. I hope to call on u for future projects. Always great to have someone skilled, reliable, & kind in ur corner. See u soon! Thanks again for making time for me before that weekend. My family loved the sofa & were ecstatic about the photos hung in the second bedroom (I kept it a surprise). read more

Thinking it was a great price, I ordered these lovely chairs and a couch from Target. In the small print, unbeknownst to me, was that dreaded statement "assembly required"...which of course I didn't see. Needing to finish my office before the holiday weekend, I called this company hoping I could be fit in, sometime over the next few days. Scott, did me one better...he made me his last client of the day. An hour after I reached out. On a Friday night. During the height of rush hour. No, question Scott is a master assembler. I think it probably took him longer to commute to my place, than to put my stuff together. He's friendly, professional (an animal lover, which means he's a keeper in my book). He even stayed calm when my dog sniffed him and became obsessed with his crotch...that my friends is the guy you call for all your construction/assembly needs. I'll be utilizing his expertise again (and probably a few times after that). Thanks Scott...you rock !! See you soon (new homeowner that I am). read more

Highly recommend Scott! He was absolutely amazing with all things Ikea. He installed two large Pax closets along with two full rooms of Besta. Not only was he prompt, clean, courteous and timely but he provided excellent design and functionality insight! He had a great attention to detail and he worked with precision. Do NOT believe other contractors who will tell you they can do Pax or Besta installs in a day. His prices are extremely reasonable especially considering the quality and time spent. Hire Scott without delay!! read more

If you have a bunch of IKEA furniture to assemble, save yourself the potential headaches by hiring Scott and Will to put your stuff together. They're two great guys who work fast, do a great job, and really stand behind their work, even when decoding the crazy world of IKEA manuals. The guys put together two beds, two nightstands, and a dresser for us at our place in Parker. Scott and I had scheduled our appointment way in advance, and even though he was running behind due to a previous appointment, he still made sure to come by the same day to put together our stuff. They were super polite, worked quickly, and are two really cool guys. What really makes this a five-star experience is the level of service that these guys provided when something didn't go right. After they left and I paid (they take credit cards BTW), I realized that a couple of the screws were put in the wrong spot on my bed. The rest of the furniture was put together perfectly. It was a very honest mistake due to IKEA providing nearly identical screws that are within 1/8 of an inch of each other, but it did make our furniture look a little weird and wasn't easy to hide. It wasn't something I couldn't have lived with, but it didn't look right. I let Scott know and sent him a picture, and he came out to take a look as soon as he had time within a few days. He saw what I saw and immediately said that he would make it right. I'm not a picky person, so I was up for any number of solutions. Scott did the most honest, respectable one. He said that we had bought a brand new bed, so we should get an assembled brand new bed. He replaced the parts at IKEA at no cost to me and dropped them off at my place a few days later. Will came by and set everything up good as new. Now I have an assembled brand new bed. Amazing. The guys absolutely could've taken my money and walked away, blaming it on IKEA's design or saying that the furniture came that way, but they didn't. They stood behind their work (most of which was already done perfectly) and made it right. These are two great guys who I'd trust to work on any kind of furniture assembly, and it was refreshing to have such a customer-focused experience. Thanks, guys! read more

Scott is amazing! First, he helped avert WW III between my significant other, who hates flat pack stuff (really,seriously,melt-down hates it) and me who appreciates (loves, adores, and drools at IKEA-hack photos) the Ikea product and budget. Oh, so I also measured wrong and that one little inch almost ruined an otherwise perfect relationship. So Scott saved the day and promptly listened to my woes, told me he could help, gave me a reasonable price, accomplished the almost impossible given my measurement taking challenge, drove four hours one way!, and had spare parts and creative ideas to get the job done when and how he said. I'm so pleased! He did my pax closet - looks like a million bucks! And my kitchen-sized laundry/mud/storage area. He knows his stuff. Scott is efficient and does his best to minimize mess. Save yourself time and trouble and hire Scott! read more

Scott is absolutely incredible, his expertise in putting furniture together and the care and approach he takes is exceptional. We have used him twice, once to assemble an entire office and recently to put together multiple pieces from different companies in different rooms. Idea guy is the best! I have been working with him for 4 years now every time we get ikea furniture. I called twice and left detailed messages letting him know what the job would entail and asked for return call. His voicemail promises he will call back within 24 hours. That was two weeks ago. I never heard back. read more

I contacted Scott after reaching out to TaskRabbit and not at all feeling comfortable about them assembling a 10 year old Framsta system to my Besta units. Since IKEA no longer sells Framsta most TaskRabbit workers have no experience with it. They also can't accurately quote the work. Scott has many years experience with IKEA, and came out when it fit into my schedule, organized himself before starting (i had the instructions, hardware etc.) and asked questions along the way to ensure it was built as to how i wanted it. Thanks Scott!! read more

I was blown away by how quickly & professionally Scott & his assistant put together our apartment. They did our queen size bed frame, a double level desk, TV/media center, and night stands in under 3 hours for only $200... And the job was flawless. Highly recommend them to anyone who doesn't want to go through the hassle/headache/arguments with your spouse when ordering your own furniture. The ikea company charges way more to assemble your furniture for you than Scott the ikea guy. Scott will give you an honest price quote up front based on the size/complexity of the furniture items you order. He is very fair, hard working, detail oriented, and humble. An all around great company that we will absolutely be recommending to friends and using again in the future. read more

Scott was absolutely amazing! I bought the Brimnes bed with storage and separate headboard and had him assemble everything. I took one look at the directions and almost needed an ambulance from the anxiety it gave me. IKEA directions don't come with words, they have pictures. Any words are in Swedish. Scott must be Swedish because he practically whipped this thing up in no time. I would highly recommend him and will use him again in future purchases. Thank you Scott The IKEA Guy!! read more

I was really impressed with the Ikea Guy! At first, my boyfriend and I attempted to build everything ourselves, but after building a desk, couch, coffee table, dining table, chairs, and entertainment system...we said ENOUGH! I hate Ikea...until we found the one and only superhero of Denver, The IKEA Guy!!! He built our bed frame / file cabinet SO quickly at lightning fast speeds I couldn't believe it! His prices are out of this world affordable! And his customer service is unmatched by any other hero in the universe. He's the one. The only. IKEA GUY! But all jokes aside. He really is great! Scott was helpful from the minute I emailed him. I live out of state and my daughter was moving and needed some help assembling her furniture. I would highly recommend him and will absolutely be using his services again. read more

So I opened the instructions to assemble my headboard from Ikea and I didn't get past page one. This was a task way beyond my pay grade. I found Scott, the Ikea Guy, on Craigslist. He was Johnny-on-the-spot, professional and super efficient. In three hours, he assembled a Hermes dresser (eight drawers), a full-size headboard and hung three Link shelves. I'm thrilled with the results. Hands-down, he's worth his price (and his price is very reasonable)! read more

Scott and Will were awesome!! After spending 4 plus hours trying to put together an IKEA dresser, my fiancé had enough. I immediately started looking for someone to finish the job and a second dresser. I sent Scott a message via help at 10:30 at night and he responded first thing in the morning. He was even able to come by the same day! Scott and Will helped me remove the existing broken dresser and took all the empty boxes to the dumpster when he was finish. Their prices were extremely affordable. I can't praise them enough! They turned our IKEA nightmare into a dream. Thanks again! read more

Scott is a true professional. He really pulled me out of a jam when I was on a tight timeline for a kitchen installation job. No walls were square or plumb but he took the time necessary to make it right. I'm a bit of a freak for straight, clean lines and Scott is too. He was the perfect installer for my job. Not to mention, he's a really good human being as well. He takes pride in his work and wants to exceed the customer's expectations. That's a rare commodity these days. I would look no further if you're looking for an IKEA installer. He's the absolute best! read more

Scott was great, and he saved the day when the assembly guys at Ikea couldn't come for two weeks. He came the next day. The assembly was efficient and professional. I would highly recommend his service to anyone. No civilian should have to put this stuff together... No matter how "handy" you think you are. Scott was super friendly and he did the job for less than I was quoted at IKEA. read more

Guys, if I could give Scott 6 stars, I would. He's experienced, well-priced, respectful, and just a nice person. The BEST.

I hired Scott to build a craft desk, lots of drawers and shelves. Easy to schedule with him, he promptly returned my calls and emails. On the first Thursday of the new year he arrived at my home and quickly got started. About 30 minutes into the project we discovered a piece was missing and had to place the job on hold. I contacted the company and the part was to be shipped by the next Thursday. We made arrangements to have him come back that next Thursday evening. The part did not arrive in time for him to come that day but he made time in his schedule to come back Friday instead. He did not charge me any additional money for all the brain damage on his part. Highly recommend his services. Not sure why it says San Francisco, I live in Wheat Ridge. read more

I made arrangements with Scott to move a new couch from curb to apartment, and found him to be extremely flexible and supportive. Although I ended up not using his services (because the driver brought the couch up), I am very impressed with Scott's communication and willingness to accommodate my changing schedule. I will absolutely contact him in the future for other assembly needs, and recommend that you do, also! read more

I called Scott on Wednesday morning in a panic because I needed a bed moved from the second floor to the basement and I had a short window to get it accomplished. He said he was pretty booked up but he would give it a shot. He didn't say "No Way"" or "Sorry I can't do it". He called me Thursday night to let me know I was still on the radar. He then called Friday night to let me know there was a good chance of squeezing me in. Saturday afternoon I received a text saying he was 15 minutes away. I am writing this review from the bed in the basement. Scott is a man of his word and he was very professional. If you need someone to assemble furniture I highly recommend Scott. Thanks again Scott!!!! read more

The Ikea Guy is definitely your go-to-guy for getting furniture assembled properly and skillfully. Whether it's Ikea furniture of other kinds of furniture, he does furniture assembling of all kinds. I was impressed with the thoroughness of the work he did for me. He assembled my entire apartment in only 2 days! Thanks for all the help. After moving back to the States from abroad I was so tired and it was so wonderful to have someone put it all back together for me so I was able to feel at home as soon as possible. Scott replied within a very short amount of time, I received a reasonable quote and we were able to coordinate our schedules easily. He arrived, set up a build area and proceeded to assemble 2 tall dressers as well as to go over the 2 smaller chests I built alone. He repaired the pieces I damaged, then shored up my bookcases! He has a zen-like energy in his approach to his craft. Five stars. read more
