Between the music, the mountain views, and watching the sun set over the water, it was such a relaxing and memorable experience. The staff was friendly, organized, and made everyone feel welcome from the moment we boarded. If you're visiting McCall, I highly recommend adding a cruise to your itinerary. Whether it's your first visit or you're returning after years away like I was, seeing the lake from the water gives you a whole new appreciation for how beautiful the area is.

This park has a FANTASTIC visitor center! I mean it's not packed with tons of info but it's got a solid little bit, nice folks, a good little gift shop, clean bathrooms, what more could you want? There are so many trails with an abundance of options for difficulty, or even just driving through was tranquil. We saw a huge variety of birds, wildlife, flowers, and just incredible views. It's worth a visit, take a day and explore, we went in late June and saw many adorable fawns and deer!

The first thing is that this is the only proper to have been to that sales people aren't hounding you and ruining your R&R time. Upon check in the process was very seamless. All the rooms are outside so you will need to carry your bags up to your room if you're on the top floor. Inside while a little dated it was super clean with lots of space. Great small kitchen to use with all the amenities. Also family room is very spacious as well as eating areas. Plus there is a Murphy bed in the living room which sleeps an additional 2 people. They have a heated pool and a jacuzzi which felt great being it was so cold and great place to warm up. In addition a gym located at the backside of the pool. Nice and well equipped for working out and staying in shape while on vacation. This place is also very close to town and an easy bike ride our 1.5 mile walk. We were very happy with our stay and would be coming back again to enjoy this great town.

I expected to pay a lot more for the rental as I am used to in other vacation / resort towns. They had very reasonable prices ($25 for a half day) and the staff gave me advise on what to enjoy on the ride. Great selection of all outdoor gear, including used items. My one small recommendation would be if they could have a drape or a shade put up on their big picture window in room 212 that leads out to the balcony . It is lovely to look at the lake, but when you're trying to sleep in the living room, it might be a little bright in the morning for some people who sleep on the pull out couch.
