I looked at a lot of portfolios for different surgeons and chose Iconic Plastic Surgery because Dr. D'Souza's work was very proportional and balanced and his results are beautiful! When I went to the initial consult, he took measurements of my breasts and was able to make suggestions of two different size implants. He showed me the results of patients with my same height, weight and breast size so I could see what the results would actually look like with each of the different sizes. It was SO helpful! Ironically, the photo of the suggested implant size he showed me in office was the same one I had picked out from his portfolio before meeting with him! The surgery went really well--his staff took great care of me and Dr. D'Souza gave me his cell phone to call or text if I needed anything. He called to check on my recovery and I didn't even need to take pain meds as long as I thought. The hardest part of the recovery was figuring out how to sleep comfortably upright! I have friends who had implants from other surgeons and they all commented that they didn't get nearly as much information regarding the post op recovery. I still wanted to get more consults so I went to a couple other offices, but none of them compared to my experience at Iconic PS. He took the time to measure and see exact what size & type implants would be best for my body type. Then he consulted with me what look I was going for and we worked together for a size. Then I got to try on implants sizes to get an idea what it would look like. I thought his method was unique compared to some other offices I went to where they just had me try on sizes from the get go. I am about 1.5 weeks post op, and I couldn't be happier with the results. If they look this good now, I can't imagine 6-12 weeks out. The whole experience from the consult, pre-op appointment, surgery, and post op has been so smooth.
