Doctor D'Souza had to fix what another doctor did to my stomach from the dents that were left from not doing liposuction in the right place? Doctor D 'Souza was not the first plastic surgeon to work on the same area. I had a previous breast augmentation done by William E Watkins he did the surgery in his office type surgical center. He didn't have an anesthesiologist ( he claimed that he didn't want women to die from being put under anesthesia) so he gave me l local anesthesia . I was awake the whole surgery? And in pain a lot of it . He had to keep giving me local. When I was getting picked up I passed out? He let me go home that way? This was 25 years previous to getting my implants removed. One of them ruptured, The removal surgery was from Another Doctor in Del Mar Ca. I decided to get them taken out plus I got a breast lift With fat transfer. After the results from that, I was not happy at all. I had dents in the middle of my stomach because he didn't do the Liposuction for the fat transfer in the right spot plus he used a very small about of fat. It did no good? Only costed a lot of money. I am 6 days post-breast augmentation with Dr. D'souza and am very very pleased with the results! WARNING- may be long winded review, but I feel like this review captures all aspects of why Dr. D'Souza was phenomenal and why he will have my future business. To start I appreciated that he had a FREE consultation for the BA and he really allows you an opportunity to make your own decision if you want to choose him, regardless of your money being on the line. During the consultation he thoroughly explained how sizing works based on your body size and shape and also discussed the best surgical choices based on current research. He also took measurements, suggested implant sizes for my body shape and allowed me to try on implant sizes so I could see what the results could look like. Dr. D'souza also has an IMMENSELY impressive educational and training background (John Hopkins, Cleveland Clinic, UC San Diego, (MORE)] and that was another deciding factor in why I chose him for my BA. Dr. D'Souza advertises this "rapid recovery BA" and its nothing short of awesome! I had the surgery on Friday and for the first 3 days after surgery the pain was moderate, but was more than tolerable with 1 extra strength Tylenol (which I stopped taking by Tuesday because I felt I didn't need them anymore). I think that Dr. D'Souza is a great surgeon and he is the primary reason why I've had minimal pain and such a quick recovery. I was a B and am now a full C/small D. Love how full and perky they are and that they work well with my body shape/size. Dr. D'Souza is the real deal. Now let me say that I've wanted a boob job for over a decade, and I've looked around, and just really didn't trust anyone. I met Dr. D'Souza and felt like I could really trust him. I don't know, just something about him. His background didn't hurt: All of the schools he went to and his credentials are on his website, and they're impressive af. He, and the lovely ladies at the front desk, put up with my anxiety (I'm fairly prone to it). I got cold feet at one point because It was my first surgery and I was pretty scared, so I wanted to talk to him again. He assured me that it would be ok and went over the procedure with me again. I am skeptical by nature and did a ton of research before deciding on Dr. D'Souza. I had 5 other consultations, even going out of town, because I wanted a very specific look and needed to make sure I got the right doctor. Before deciding to go with Dr. D'Souza, I went to a few other doctors for a consultation to get breast augmentation. As soon as I came into the office the staff was extremely friendly. I came in thinking I knew what I wanted as far as size, however, after talking it over with Dr. D'Souza he was honest and very informative as to why He thought the 330CC would be a better fit for my petite body type instead of going 400CC. I am so happy with Dr. D'Souza, Sabrina and Lizette! Not to piggy back off of anyone else's reviews but when his patients say that they make them feel comfortable, they mean it! Dr. D'Souza is very thorough, takes measurements to determine what the best implant will be to complement your body and look tasteful. I went to a different doctor before I saw Dr. D'Souza and that doctor took measurements by cupping my breasts and eye-balling them. He then told me that I should have implants that were over 100 CC's larger than what Dr. D'Souza deemed suitable for my muscle wall. I cringe when I think what could've happened if I hadn't done my due diligence and checked out other doctors before going through with the surgery. I first came across Dr. D'Souza a few months ago, from the start he was very friendly and helpful. I had made a mistake prior to seeing him and had laser lipo done over at Sonobello and I was not happy with the outcome. I worked on weight loss and dropped 40 pounds prior to my procedures with Dr. D'Souza. I am now 11 days post-op from having a tummy tuck with muscle repair and breast augmentation. I feel great and even though I am still swollen and sore, I am loving the new body. Dr. D'Souza is wonderful, I will recommend him to anyone. Dr. D'Souza is amazing. I went to about 5 surgeons when I was shopping for a breast augmentation, Dr. D'Souza has the best bed side manner and was super professional the whole time. He took time to measure me and was very precise. He made sure I had the best implant for me, and it paid off! Recovery was a breeze and I was back to work 4 days after surgery. I'm six days post-op from my breast augmentation with Iconic and I feel great. Dr. D'Souza and his staff have taken amazing care of me from the get-go, starting at my consultation. I had my consultation on 08/17 and after discussing sizing, going over the procedure, addressing my concerns and answering all the questions I had, and discussing the price, I knew he was the surgeon for me and cancelled the other consultations I had scheduled. I was able to book a surgery date a little less than a month out. I specifically sought him out for his "rapid recovery" technique, which minimizes trauma to the breast tissue, allowing patients to return to work within a couple days. I had my surgery on a Saturday morning and returned to work the following Tuesday, though I could have returned Monday-- this was just my personal preference. All in all, I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. D'Souza and the staff at Iconic Plastic Surgery. I'd recommend anyone looking to get any cosmetic work done to -at the very least- book a consultation with them. read more
