I proactively sent an email to my doctor (Dr. Doscas) asking about some recent tests and prescriptions only to be notified that my doctor has left the practice. While Dr. Doscas was a great doctor, I'm puzzled by how this was all handled. I received no email or comms from my doctor, the management team nor was I given any guidance on next steps in switching doctors. This is unacceptable. I should have been proactively notified and should have been made aware of my options ASAP. I called and texted the office several times to speak to Dr. Gorman about my experience but did not receive a call back. Instead, I received an impersonal, cold and sterile letter a few days later notifying me that I needed to find another doctor. I would not recommend this practice to anyone given the sloppy nature of my situation was managed- it's completely unacceptable.

Dr Gorman is great and her medical team are great. Watch out for office policies that can spring inconvenient surprises. I'm on the search for a new doctor now, and that sucks because Dr Gorman has been my go-to. Pretty unsettling.

The confirmation email I received listed only the appointment time, address, and parking information -- it contained no mention of any consultation fee. On the day of the visit I was charged $750. When I questioned the amount, I was told that was the correct fee based on our prior conversation. I left the experience feeling the consultation fee had not been clearly or accurately disclosed in advance. The office itself also raised concerns. There was no secretary or front-desk staff, and the space is shared with a beauty salon, chiropractic office, and other services. All communication was handled directly by the doctor. The lack of transparent pricing has left me with no choice but to file a claim in small claims court to resolve the matter.

His appointment was at 10:30 AM on October 3, 2026, and I arrived at 10:20 AM with my mother and younger sister. I was extremely disappointed with how little they seemed to respect our time. We sat there waiting until around 11:20 AM before a nurse finally came and took my father into the room. The appointment was at 10:30. What made the experience even more frustrating was how disorganized the whole process was. As soon as we arrived, a receptionist took down my father's information and asked basic questions, such as whether he had any allergies or had eaten anything. Then another assistant came in and asked the exact same questions again. After waiting for about 15 minutes, around 10:55, I was already getting very frustrated and asked when we would be seen. A nurse told me that the doctor was seeing patients in the office next door and would be back around 11:15. Seriously? If the doctor wasn't available until 11:15, why schedule our appointment for 10:30? Then around 11:10, another nurse came in and asked us the same questions again -- questions we had already answered multiple times. She left, and about five minutes later, another nurse came in and asked the same questions yet again. At this point, we had been asked essentially the same information around five times. Finally, my father was taken into the room around 11:30 AM, almost an hour after his scheduled appointment. While we were waiting outside, we could also hear the staff talking about taking turns going to lunch. I completely understand that employees need breaks, but hearing this while a patient and his family had already been waiting nearly an hour past the scheduled appointment made the situation even more frustrating. I'm not upset because we had to wait a few minutes. I'm upset because the entire process felt disorganized, repetitive, and disrespectful of our time. If the doctor is not available at the scheduled appointment time, the office should schedule patients accordingly or at least communicate the delay. Patients and their families have schedules and responsibilities too. Very disappointing experience. I hope they seriously improve their scheduling, communication, and patient intake process. Dr . I'm a fairly active person (endurance running, spinning, boxing, megareformers you name it) and also extremely injury prone.. that combined with all the repetitive stress, my body is not the happiest with me at times, from back stiffness to mobility & joint issues. Dino has fixed me up time and time again. I started going to Dr. D awhile back when I was diagnosed by another doctor as achilles tendonitis. After forking out a ton of money on physical therapy sessions from that other doctor, tons of acupuncturist appointments and not getting any better, I started looking on yelp and found Dino, and I'm thankful I did. Just shortly after a few sessions and applying the exercises that he recommended, I was back to running pain free.. There are plenty of clinics in the SF bay area that offer ozone, including ozone dialysis in San Mateo and Santa Rosa, there is no reason to go here and I would highly advise that you stay away from this clinic.

He then gave me cortisone injections ( he is excellent) and that pain went away instantly. Don't get me wrong he follows the guidelines on prescriptions as far as the current situation with Vicodin. He may not agree to some of the aspects associated with the decree. I have the utmost respect and admiration for him and his staff. Do not be discouraged, if you do not get a quick call back. I have flown from Minnesota just to get on his schedule! Now that I am in San Bruno, I have my daughter go to his office , who lives in Campbell to make my next appointment, if for some reason I have not made a follow-up. Dr. Massih was dismissive, rude, and disrespectful towards my mother's request about disability and was insistent on my mother being employed and working through her major lumbar and cervical issues (diagnosed spinal stenosis, degenerative discs, nerve pain, & more) even though my mother hasn't been able to physically work for over a year. Does this doctor want people to purposefully worsen their physical conditions so she can repeatedly inject them and prescribe them with pain medication? Not only that, but Dr. Massih was impatient and rushed her appointment. How can you get to understand your patient's issues if you don't give them the time to explain their ailments? And even with the limited time she gave my mother, she would talk over her and ignore her concerns. She even angrily opened up the appointment by asking my mother "why [she] was even here." And when my mother asked Dr. Massih to explain the side effects of a certain procedure, Dr. Massih insisted that she would only tell her once they were cleared to do the procedure. So, basically, she wanted to pressure my mother into making an appointment for the procedure first before explaining anything. Is this a doctor who cares, or a doctor who simply wants money? I think it's clear what her aim is. Regardless of whether or not Dr. Massih is a good doctor, our first impressions of her are highly negative. I'll never be able to trust someone so rude, dismissive, and uncooperative, and I strongly suggest others to avoid this doctor.

My mom had a health scare so I took her to the emergency room where she was diagnosed with a slow heartbeat. After many days and tests in the hospital, the doctors wanted to put a pacemaker in her body to regulate her heartbeat. I was not happy with it because I know the risks of depending on a device her whole life outweighs the benefits, so I sought another way that is natural and less, or better yet, not invasive to the natural dynamics of the body. So I went against medical advise and against pretty much everyone's advise, and bailed my mom out the hospital. I believe in holistic and natural approach to heal and prevent diseases so I researched a chiropractor nearby, ideally a Gonstead trained doctor because the technique makes more sense. My mom has also been suffering from sciatica/low back pain for a year and we've been seeing other chiropractors with little to very slow improvement. I came across Icon Chiropractic searching at Yelp and the reviews were great and it wasn't that far from us so I took my mom there. The place was clean, relaxing and smelled great with the essential oils puffing through the diffusers. Receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Meeting Dr. Wu was pleasant, he listened and was patient throughout the consultation. He x-rayed my mom's spine and it looked bad as it was crooked and way off alignment. Even without the x-ray, we can see that my mom's posture was crooked and she was in pain and discomfort. Dr. Wu is a very nice and generous guy, also quite funny and likes laughing, as me and my mom got to know him and shared stories and jokes throughout her treatment plan. The results speaks for itself! Not even halfway through the treatment plan, my mom was already feeling better. We were going there twice a week for her adjustments and Dr. Wu also advised her to take some vitamins to support her nutrient deficiencies. By week two, my mom told us she's sleeping better and pain has decreased. As the weeks passed, she just started to get better and better with the pain and the stubborn tingling from her leg diminishing. My mom started to exercise, jog and move more as her body felt better, her moods became much happier and her energy increased. She started to loose weight and looked much younger and happier than before we came to Icon Chiropractor. And her x-rays after the treatment plan just confirmed the significant improvements of what she's been experiencing inside and out! My mom is now sooo happy and she loved Dr. Wu for his help in getting her better and improving her overall lifestyle. I most definitely recommend Dr. Wu because he really cares for his patients, he's good at what he does, and what he does helps his patients enjoy a healthier, more meaningful, and enjoyable life that will support the body's healing ability instead of suppressing and making it worse for the individual and their loved ones! Dr. Alan Wu is a star! I've been going to ICON Chiropractic for a month, and today I can say I'm feeling much healthier and relaxed than ever before. A month ago, I felt some finger / leg tingling / numbness after an intense week of moving and a few consecutive 16hr work days. I've tried Yoga, swimming, Thai deep tissue massage as remedy, and even visited a hospital twice, but none of those helped, and things have just gotten worse day by day. A friend recommended me chiropractice. I did a bit research and found out about the Gonstead method, which is a technique to use X-ray and a nervoscope to accurately pinpoint where the spine is misaligned and fix it. Here I highly recommend watching Gonstead videos on Youtube before getting one for the first time. A lot of things are well explained there. The first session was more so about "knowing your client". Dr. Wu was like a therapist, listening attentively to all I have to say about my past medical history, habits and recent changes to my body, etc. Then I took an X-ray from the front and the side, and went straight home. The second session Dr. Wu brought back my X-ray with a bunch of lines, angles and analyses he did. He told me that a healthy spine should have certain degrees of curvature. By looking at my spine, it seemed like my neck was too straight, which was a result of me looking down at my phone too much. That "straight neck" resulted in some bones being a bit too close to each other (vs a curve would part things out), impacting the nerves. And my hip bones were a bit imbalanced, which was a result of me carrying heavy objects in a wrong posture when I moved.. After everything logically explained, he did a push each on my neck and hip spine, then magic happened! It was a feeling of blood flow through the body, and my leg almost instantly felt less numb than before. What's more, I was able to breathe in more! Before I had a bit of hyperventilation, but didn't know the cause. Now I knew how nice it is to breath 100% vs before I could only do 85%. On my subsequent visits, Dr. Wu followed the same steps - first used the nervoscope to check how my spine recovered, and then fix where it needed to fix. The whole process usually only takes minutes, with quick bearable pain (the feeling is similar to sitting in a car that puts into a quick stop). Now I'm back to before, maybe even healthier. In the interim of those session, I'm also learning some healthy tips of living from Dr. Wu. Quoting from his website, he'd rather be teaching people how to fish than giving others the fish. After seeing six different chiropractors over the years, I can honestly say Dr. Eric is my "seventh heaven." He is truly a blessing, and words cannot express how grateful I am for everything he has done for me. When I first came to see him, I was in constant pain. My lower back hurt so badly that I couldn't even stand up straight--I was always walking bent forward. I was also dealing with sciatica, a frozen shoulder, shoulder pain, and overall stiffness throughout my body. I had almost accepted that this was just how I would have to live. In only three weeks of treatment, I would say I've improved by about 70%. The difference has been life-changing. My pain is now minimal, I'm moving so much better, and for the first time in a long time, I have hope that I can fully recover. What makes Dr. Eric exceptional isn't just his skill--it's the way he genuinely cares about his patients. He is incredibly gentle, kind, patient, and attentive. Because my body is so stiff, he always reminds me to relax and never pushes beyond what I'm comfortable with. When someone makes this much of a difference in your life, they deserve to be recognized. My time and money have been more than worth it. I feel so thankful and fortunately that there are ppl like Dr Wu that's there to help ppl like me. I haven't felt this good about my body for so long until he adjusted me. I've tried many chiropractors including a very well known chiro in Palo Alto (they were more like temporarily relief on some of my problems than fixing the root cause) and no one was able to address all the issues i've been having all these years except for Dr. Wu. I have neck pain, shoulder pain, problem with hip, lower back and right arm. all of these problem has been bothering me for years. they make walking and standing so uncomfortable and painful sometimes and definitely have a huge impact on alot of things I do everyday. When i was there for initial exam/consultation, Dr Wu was very thorough and patient. I love how you can take xray on the spot at his office and how he analyze and explain the xray to you so you are clear on what's going on with your body and know exactly what needs to be done in order to tackle those problems. I've been going there for over a month now and I can not be happier with the result. It's such a huge relief for me being able to stand up and walk not feeling "off" or out of balance. Dr Wu was also able to help me with my TMJ problem that was mess up by a dentist over 10 years ago. Dr Wu is amazing and truely care about his patients and their wellness. I've been coming here for almost 4 months now and it's been one of the best decisions I've made. Dr. Wu has managed to relieve my lower back pain as well as severe pain in my left knee. Starting from the consultation, he was different from some of the other chiropractors I've seen in that he really listens to EVERYTHING you have to say and doesn't brush you off or shut you down. He takes a very calculated approach to evaluating your x-ray and will sit down to review them with you so that you know exactly what your situation is. I was out of commission when it came to walking up/down hill, stairs, running, etc. due to my knee. I can now say that I'm doing all of those things with no pain. Even still, every time I go in to my checkups/adjustments he'll always ask how my knee is doing and will check it himself to make sure things look alright. Dr. Wu is very good and knowledgable at what he does and will answer any and all questions that you have. He takes time to explain what he's adjusting and how that area of your spine is affecting your body(which is always very intriguing and gets me pretty excited about the gonstead method). He truly cares about the wellbeing of his patients and isn't pushy or out to try and get your money. This review is long overdue! I have been a patient of Dr. Wu for about 2 years now and I have never felt better! I feel like I'm at a point (ok, fine...I'm at the age) where random aches and pains are starting to pop up and Dr. Wu is always there to help! He is like a chiropractic detective and he gets to the root of the problem (the whole "where you feel the pain isn't necessarily where the problem is" theory) and his adjustments feel amazing! His neck adjustments are FIRE and I wish I could get one every day! My very first appointment with him, he took xrays of my spine so we were able to get a clear picture of what was going on with my body. You will be asked to change into a hospital gown which might be awkward for some people, but trust me when I say that it will make your adjustment feel even more amazing! Dr. Wu is a wealth of knowledge on stretches/exercises, vitamins/herbs, nutrition and all things holistic! Once you're a current patient, you can purchase package deals and book your appointments online...such a money and time saver! As a side note, I've continued to see Dr. Wu during COVID and I always feel very safe. I started to experience severe pain on my right hip a few months ago. I was hoping it would go away on its own and did not get it checked out for the first few weeks because I didn't feel like dealing with the hassle of scheduling an appointment and take time off from work. However, I realized the seriousness of the pain when I could not get out of my bed one day because it was just too painful. I came across Dr.Wu when I was searching for chiropractors on Yelp. I called his office and he actually listened to my problems and tried to help me understand the possible causes of my pain. He recommended me to go in so that he can properly take a look and see what is really wrong. Dr. Wu was very flexible and accommodating to my work schedule and I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. After my consultation he was able to adjust me and my pain level went down significantly after the second day. I've been seeing Dr.Wu regularly for the past 3 months. Also, it's very convenient that he has an office in SF. I was able to schedule a few appointments there when I had meetings in the city. I met Dr. Wu through my friend's referral. I had some neck issues which has bothered me for quite some time due to prolonged computer work. Fortunately, one of my friend mentioned to me to go check out her chiropractor (Dr. Wu) after i told her about my neck pain. After a couple of "adjustment", what amazed me was that the neck pain started to subside. Also, I now notice that when I look up to the ceiling, i am able to fully do the motion without pain. There are words from the bottom of my heart I like to express until this point time of care: I don't know much about chiropractic, but to me, this is wonderful and powerful. At least, it keeps me going for my work everyday without being distracted by pain. At least, I know there is an alternative way that I don't need to depend on pain killers and hope this pain will go away. I had constant neck pain and stiffness from a whiplash injury back in 2008. I couldn't even rotate my neck close to my shoulder. I would get headache if my head is leaning forward pass my shoulder. I also have back stiffness and pain that will probably never go away. Dr. Wu treatments helped me a lot. My neck is more flexible. My back feels better as well. Dr. Wu is a tremendous help, but he is not a miracle worker. His adjustments are just that, adjustment. He will try to put your body back in position, but it is up to you to keep that recovery going. You need to practice better posture and reduce bad habits like looking down at your phone or slouching on your chair. The bad habits will undo what Dr. Wu did for you. My posture has always been pretty bad, as everyone always says that I look like I'm slouching all the time. I've tried acupuncture before, but it never left any lasting effects on my posture. Then I went to see a chiropractor, and it probably was one of the best choices I've ever made. Dr. Wu is a very skillful chiropractor. He was able to identify the problems with my spine early on, and gives a explanation every time about where he's adjusting and why. His adjustments are pretty accurate, and it doesn't leave any long-term negative effect on my back. After a few months of adjustments, my back feels a lot better now. I stopped having constant back pain, and I've even "grown" a little due to a straighter spine. I came to see Dr.Wu because of my lower back pain. I had this lower back pain for multiple years and just never went away. It really affected my daily life. Sometimes I couldn't even get up from sitting down watching TV. I couldn't really exercises as well because of the lower back pain. In a way, I felt it crippled me. I went to see Dr. Wu because he was one of the presenter for the newspaper group. Dr. Wu carefully examined me, took x rays and adjusted my spine and pelvis. I was referred to Dr. Alan Wu through a good friend of mine. I was in involved in car accident couple of years ago and I tried different Chiropractors, but didn't completely relieve my back pain. I have been suffer lower back and neck pain due to improper sitting position for years of working in front of computer. Dr Wu is the first chiropractor I have consulted. He is very knowledgeable and caring. After x ray analysis he identifid the problem section of the spine. These were generally focused on rolling out the muscles and applying heat to encourage blood flow. More recently, I developed minor hip and knee aches while doing squats, likely due to the combination of various past lifting injuries, a motorcycle accident, and the accumulated stress from my prolonged standing for 12+ hours a day, 7 days of the week, over the past 10 years. I tried my usual rehab exercises and stretches from my history of past lifting injuries but the ache persisted for a couple of months. My sister introduced me to Dr. Lyu, as he has successfully treated several of her pain issues over the years. Dr. Lyu listened carefully to my problem areas and asked me relevant questions.
