I scheduled a PRP consultation which cost $1000 and was rescheduled twice - with appointments being one month out each time. When asked, I was told by the doctor that it was okay for me to drive over an hour - right after the PRP treatment. I decided to find someone closer to my home and canceled my appointment after the second time they rescheduled. It was a blessing in disguise. Not only was I able to get a sooner appointment closer to home, that wasn't rescheduled, but I also was given clear directions, thankfully. I was told to make sure I had someone drive me home, which was accurate as I wasn't able to drive for at least 2 days after the treatment and was told to stay off my feet for at least 2 days after the treatment. More like DR. CROOK! Complete nightmare experience similar to what others have posted. The man is a liar and a thief. There is not even any common decency here - he kept me waiting 3 hours one day for an appt and cancelled another appointment when I was already on my way. I became close with one of his nurses who ended up leaving while I was still undergoing treatment - thanks to her I discontinued when she told me about the shady inner workings of the clinic...Cook is abusive to his staff and regularly jokes about patients behind their back's. Most people do not get results especially if dealing with systemic issues like Lyme. I spent several thousand, lured there after hearing Cook on a podcast. it was a complete waste and he became belligerent when I questioned why I wasn't seeing improvement. There are plenty of clinics in the SF bay area that offer ozone, including ozone dialysis in San Mateo and Santa Rosa, there is no reason to go here and I would highly advise that you stay away from this clinic. read more

I am leaving this review mainly as a caution for other potential patients of this clinic. If you have the sort of health issues that are challenging to treat, you may eventually find yourself working with a doctor like Dr. Cook. You don't see him or his colleagues for every day health concerns. Before reading this, I looked over other reviews, which are mostly positive. I believe they are honestly written by people who had good experiences at the clinic. I think Dr. Cook helps a lot of people, and his creative and cutting edge approach can succeed where others fail. However, his business is rather opaque. Communication between the medical staff and administrative folks is poor, calls and emails are not always returned promptly, and some medical communication is handled by untrained go-betweens. You may receive recommendations that lack scientific support. Cost is very high. You will spend at least $1,000 for a 1 hour consult with Dr. Cook, and subsequent consults are just as expensive. Additionally, at least one of the providers there lacks professional credentials. Anyone may call themselves a Nutritionist or Functional Medicine Practitioner, but these are not professional designations like Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. It seems like this clinic may be a victim of its own success, subject to very high demand, as it is in part filling a void left by the United States' disastrous medical system. There is a ton of money to be made helping people who have been failed by their surgeon, their MD, or their physical therapist. If you visit this clinic, please keep in mind that, as good as it can be, it is a for-profit business, and is important for you to do your own due diligence when considering practitioners and treatments, especially considering the high cost and lack of insurance coverage for much of what they do. read more

If you are looking for a medical office that thinks outside the box, you've found the right place. I visited BioReset Medical to treat my red meat allergy (also called Alpha Gal Syndrome). After some blood work and testing, I was able to drop my allergy numbers in half via Ozone Dialysis. Im hopeful that after a few more visits I'll be able to enjoy a hamburger and bacon again. The staff were professional and attentive to my needs. The medical staff were even prepared for the possibility of an allergic reaction to the medication used for the procedure. I can only speak for the services that were done to me, but I can confirm that the outcome was positive. I had the most amazing experience at BioReset Medical! Dr. Cook and the entire staff are incredibly supportive, friendly and most importantly they truly listen. The treatments suggested were explained well and made sense. Many of the treatments gave me relief in the same day, and while some will take a little longer, I feel better and more hopeful then I have in years. The focus is to get people well and it shows. As for me, I am 40 years old. For the last 20 years I had over a dozen long standing injuries from car accidents and sports related injuries from martial arts. The impacted areas include shoulders, low back, hip, groin, leg and knee. Additionally, I have had digestion issues, and auto-immune responses from food due to leaky gut. Dear Dr Cook. I have put one star because of the poor treatment and care by your employees Barbara and Samantha Martinez. Please fire them and treat me! I am looking for stem cell treatment for the following, in order:-- DESCRIPTION 1) Both shoulders L - Labral tearing (surgery was suggested but not done due to other surgeries) R - Labral tearing repaired by surgery (2017-12), but this caused problems (This seems to aggravate my herniated C5/6 caused and related Impingement and neck pain (range 2-9).) 2) Lumbar spine herniated, discs with tears, one with extrusion, as confirmed by MRIs (2016-10, 2018-2) 3) L knee had meniscal repair surgery, causing chronic, permanent inflammation, constant pain and swelling, lasting for 7 months since surgery 4) L elbow pops and has constant pain; R Elbow has pain with use, but not as bad. 5) R knee had ACL-r 2010, but now has pain and stiffness 6) Facet Joints stick and pop 7) Hips, especially L, have pain and pop The first five are highly aggravating. I had BM-derived stem cell treatment on the L knee during meniscal repair. No stem cell count was taken. The result of surgery was decreased functionality. I have many MRI reports. I booked an appointment with Dr. Cook and was told he could not see me for 3 months but that if I wanted to see him, I had to pay $1000 to hold the appointment. The night before the appointment, his office asked if I could move the appt by an hour and that I would be seeing Dr. Cook's physician's assistant, not Dr. Cook. When I said I had an appt with Dr. Cook himself, I was told he was not taking any new patients. When I asked why I was given the appt 3 months ago and they accepted my payment, they had no answer. My name is Kevin Thompson. I want to briefly share my story along with this testimonial. I lived in a rental home with toxic mold in the basement that grew over time from a lack of ventilation. The "informed consent" here is unreasonable. On walking in you are presented a document "consenting" to all these random treatments BEFORE ever seeing the doctor. I had 2 visits here - at a SIGNIFICANT cost- and waited over an hour for one and 2 hours for the second (although they offered some "free" "less invasive treatments" during the wait - again with little explanation of what they were and why they would be good for me). They mistakenly wrote "neck pain" In my chart and everyone proceeded to talk about it despite that not being my issue. Additionally I got someone else's record so I didn't feel great about their privacy practices. Dr. Cook was condescending and, despite his talk of his "empathy" it was clear he didn't know how to-or chose not to- exercise it. There was no interactive dialogue about my circumstances and treatment- mostly just a looooooooooooooong monologue about how "amazing" he was. I have now sent a fair number of clients to Dr Cook. Every one of them have gotten good results and for a few of them amazing results! I was able to sit in on a procedure a few months ago with a friend of mine that had back pain which started 5 years ago when she had her first child by C-section. Dr Cook explained that when there is an incision across the abdominals this lack of core support and nerve entrapment may lead to back pain. Sure enough after the procedure which was just over an hour she reported that her back pain was almost gone. Since this time, as a clinical bodyworker, I have sent a number of my clients to him with different types of pain issues and the results have been very good. If you are reading this you just WON THE MEDICAL LOTTERY!!! I cannot express to you in a review just how much Dr Cook and his entire team have changed my life forever! I have been living with chronic spinal stenosis for years and have had multiple procedures with the best surgeons in the country at the best hospitals in the world.
