We also ordered an unagi bento box which also came with a side of miso soup. Prices are very fair and was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of fish. Very clean and high energy inside. Bathrooms also clean. Servers are very friendly and service was quick. There is a 12.5% service charge that is automatically added to the bill, but you can ask for it to be removed.

To begin, we shared a bottle of Plum Wine and ordered multiple orders of sushi. We had Spider rolls, California rolls, salmon rolls, spicy salmon a Kama roll, a bento box with teriyaki chicken, a prawn tempura roll, a spicy tuna roll, miso soup, edamame, seafood shumai, chicken curry, deep fried veggie spring rolls, and eel teriyaki. Most of the above items were good with the following notes: I have the shumai regularly in the USA at reputable sushi restaurants and love the shrimp shumai better that these seafood shumai which appears to be a mixture of seafood in a salad form. They didn't taste good at all and weren't very appetizing. The Tuna in the Tuna Roll was an unpleasant dark gray color which I've never seen in Tuna Sushi dishes in the past (usually a brighter reddish color). Maybe it's from a different part of the fish but it sure looks unappetizing and the taste was bland. We didn't finish these. I had to remove stars for the following reasons: 1. A piece of metal in the chicken karrage that was curled up like it came off a wire rack cleaning brush or something. 2. Grisly chicken sent back as unedible by one of my companions 3. The above mentioned unappetizing dishes We complained about the metal piece found in the chicken to the waiter and he brought the manager over who apologized profusely and came back and said he spoke with the chef about this. The manager offered to replace the dish and my companion said no as she was now scared to try any other food from here. The manager ended up comping the bottle of Plum Wine and her damaged food dish. In retrospect, he should've comped us the entire meal. This was not an acceptable occurrence and could've ended up much worse had my companion not seen the piece of metal before consuming the chicken. I hope this is a one off situation and never happens to anyone else.

Not ideal for a date or intimate conversation either as the lighting can often be quite intense.

They also have a tasting menu that includes sake, which has to be ordered in twos, and cost £140 I had a 6-piece omakase nigiri selection, which was excellent (probably the best sushi I've had in London) and included key fish like salmon, tuna, butterfish, and ebi (£21). Gyozas (£10, also good) and a kitsune soba noodle dish (£14, only ok). I tried someone else's mixed tempura (£16) and it was so light and fresh for a fried dish I couldn't believe it. In our group of four, the plates came out pretty helter skelter. One in our group had nearly all his plates (5) come out before anyone else's, which was awkward. The other plates trickled out in very random way - for example, my main, the soba noodles, came out before my gyozas; another in our group's main (beef teriyaki £35, not including rice) didn't come out until after we were all nearly finished with our meals. Hidden within Liverpool station, Moshi Moshi is shockingly beautiful upon entering and escaping the hustle of the station. With it's unique seating and layout, it would be the perfect date night location. I brought a large group to Moshi Moshi, and the team was fantastically supportive and flexible to our needs and reservation process. They weren't phased when our numbers continually changed (even night of) and they worked with our limited budget. We were able to get a meal (not just 1 sushi roll) for £14 or less per person. I'm excited to go back without the budget limitation to try some other items.
