We first stumbled upon Ichiban in Spring of 2024. We were so pleasantly surprised that they had an all you can eat option that they serve (currently priced around $22 / person for dinner) vs a buffet style. Everything always comes out hot, fresh, tasty and timely! Staff is always friendly and attentive. The restaurant and bathrooms are always clean. Definitely worth eating here! Best bang for your buck I've experienced in a while.

We were very confused when we walked in thinking this was a traditional buffet. Buy pleasantly surprised to have it explained to us that for $22.95 per plate you could order off of the buffet menu and the food was made fresh. My wife started with the Godzilla roll, I had 4 pieces of sashimi, chefs choice, white tuna, salmon, mackeral and ahi tuna. Then clear soup, shared 4 pieces of crab Rangoon, and chicken lettuce wraps. I then picked a spicy tuna roll that was very much delicious. The main course was chicken pad Thai for me and hibachi chicken with vege fried rice for my wife. Both hot and delicious. We each had a couple bottles of Sapporo to round out dinner. $67 before tip, excellent dinner. Ryan, our waiter, was very attentive. If you are looking for a sit down buffet with many different options then this is the place.

Update: they just hooked me up with General Tso's so fresh I had to give it a solid 5. I might be sentimental. I'm moving to NJ at the end of the month. I'll miss you folks, but the memories we've had

Great place, food, service and ambiance is good. I would definitely recommend it, the bar has beer and drinks too.

ALL YOU CAN EAT SUSHI! Only $24 per person... Every. Single. Day! (Except Tuesday's when they're closed). This means you could literally try every sushi roll on their menu for only $24 or mix it up with a soup, specialty rolls, sides, and dessert. Out of all of the rolls featured, I highly recommend the Magic Roll. Not only is this roll cooked, so it's safe to eat for those afraid of raw fish, but the taste combination is perfect. I always like to drench my sushi in some spicy mayo for added flavor. Although Erie might not be the most popping city, it sure knows how to sell some good sushi. Spacious inside, fast kitchen and service, and indoor seating only is available. 15/10

The food is good but I thought the sauce was a little watery. It was tasty however. I love their sushi.

Food is great but inconsistent at times. I love their gyoza and orange chicken! Their sushi is decent but not the best. The prices are fair.

Good food. Good service. Very Clean. Nice quiet environment. All that's bad is that it's far away.

We got a smorgasbord of stuff (of which items I can't even recall right now, but at least one entree salad and drinks), all of which was excellent. Even our picky daughter enjoyed herself. Solid 5 stars! Today, on my way through town on a work trip, I figured I'd stop in to replicate the magic. I opted for the short rib grilled cheese and subbed out the fries for the side of Brussels sprouts. After ordering, the food was out in about 10 minutes flat. Not a reassuring sign out of the gate... The grilled cheese was supposed to have caramelized onions. Now, I'm NOT a raw onion fan, but I can generally tolerate caramelized or fried onion strings on stuff. As you can see in the photo, the onions are NOWHERE near the color they should be to be caramelized. Sauteed? Sure, but they still had a good amount of crunch to them so not even that deeply cooked. Most of the onion leaves were still connected at the root. Also (and fortunately for me and my onion-loving self), the other half had maybe 2 very tiny pieces of onion. The short rib was done quite well and very tender but came in large chunks instead of being evenly distributed throughout the sandwich. There were also a couple rather large pieces of fat in them that was just too much to try and chew through that I had to spit out. The server was very upbeat and kind though and the inside of the place is amazing. Such a cool vibe. Overall, that's one amazing experience and one less than stellar. Being a mid-week lunch, I'm going to assume the A team wasn't on staff so I'll give the benefit of the doubt. I'll definitely come back for dinner another time for sure but I might look elsewhere for my lunch...
