Tried a bunch of sushi as takeout - -3 Roll Maki Combo (Yellowtail Scallion (did not have scallions), Eel Avocado (wish there was more eel sauce on top!), and spicy salmon with crunch for $9.99) -Magic Roll ($11.99) and Chopstix Roll ($10.99), very small but yummy and well crafted -Egg Drop Soup ($1.45) was also really great! Came here while visiting friends in the area. I would say just ok as far as Asian takeout goes. Enjoyed the crab rangoon most and the sesame chicken had a nice crunch. Low of the night was that they were clearly slammed on a Sunday night at 6pm, so they were behind on orders. They only allow one person in the vestibule area at a time because of covid restrictions, so people had to wait in their cars and keep going to the door to see if their order was ready. Had their special (sushi burrito) and was pleasantly surprised. The mango was a nice touch and the tempura and seaweed were very crispy. The salmon was good but the tuna was only ok. Major downsides were zero drink options other than water and canned soda. I was hoping for some boba or alcohol options, but the drink menu is so limited that the menu doesn't even mention a drink section. Also, the portion sizes are pretty small so I would recommend going during lunch when prices are cheaper so you can fill up more. Service was quick and friendly. The place is relatively clean. I'm not in Erie often, but when I am... we get Chopstix! They were open even in Mother's Day for the hard working mother's that wanted a day off. I usually get the Mixed Vegetables with Garlic Sauce, but I mixed it up this time & got the Green Curry instead. The sushi lunch specials (available on Saturday too) are a great deal with soup, salad, sashimi pieces, nigiri, and a tuna roll. The salmon shines, but the tuna is just okay. The salad comes with carrot ginger dressing and the miso soup is chock full of yummy seaweed. If you're dining in, the small dining room is tastefully decorated and not overly cramped. I am an extremely picky eater when it comes to Asian cuisine and I can say this is the best I've had in this area. I used door dash and it was cooked perfectly and everything was included. I walked in sushi bar straight ahead the chef was watching basketball behind the bar. I sat myself waitress brought menu. The pages stuck together as I look around the place is surface clean but you can see the neglected corners and edges. it has only been open for two months so you figure how it will get. Being from CA, my standard for sushi is a little high. While I can't say Chopstix has the best sushi I've had, it still satisfies my craving for a very good price. The lunch special is great, you get 2-3 rolls (depending on which you select), a salad and soup for around $10 or less. The rolls are very tiny though. The yellowtail appetizer was delicious however they forgot to put the jalapeño slices on it that I was very much so looking forward to. The eggplant entree is AMAZING, huge portion and not too greasy. The service is fast and friendly. I definitely wish they sold alcoholic beverages here to complement their meals. read more

I eat a lot of Sushi and I have been to at least 20 different sushi places over the years. This is one of the top quality places I have been to. Most of the Sushi I have eaten is in the Cleveland area, and Fort Myers area. This place is very consistent and the guy who is doing the rolls is very good at it. I believe he is part owner. The specialty rolls are not too big like some places. The price is very reasonable for Sushi. The lunch deals are very good. I have had no problem with the fish being fresh.
