We came here on a Monday night and the selection of food was amazing. Lots of beef, seafood, sushi and chicken dishes. The food was fresh and tasty. My oldest son had the cook to order hibachi which was also great. My other son ate his weight in peel and eat shrimp. Friday night and the place was mostly empty. Not a good sign, but I went in anyway. Children are working at the front desk. The food on the buffet was either cold or completely unappetizing from sitting around too long or being covered in sugar-goo sauce. The carpet was filthy, the silverware didn't look washed and the place just smells horrible. The guy with my drink stood there talking to his coworker and I had to go get him. I couldn't get through 1 plate of that horrible food. They need to clean that place up and make some fresh food. It's one big sticky, smelly, unappetizing mess with an uninterested staff. This was the worst buffet Ive ever dined at. The vegetables were all drenched in a nasty vomitish brown sauce, the sushi was subpar and poorly made, the so called "ice cream" was like toothpaste and my daughter had a cookie... when she removed the almond there was a hair. it is cheap, but the raw fish was stinky, stringy, and stiff. bathrooms were nasty. all the other Chinese foods were really bland. the rice and sauce on the sushi was crusty and hard like it had been sitting out forever but we went at 5:30 which is pretty early for dinner. it's an okay place to eat if you wanna get something fast, easy, and cheap, but the quality just isn't there. if you do go here do not eat the sushi, especially anything raw. read more

Granted we had eaten BBQ for just about every meal.. i was a little surprised when i heard we were wrappin up our trip with a chinese buffett.. We walked in and were seated across the wall from the pond. We had the drink orders taken and were released to the buffet. Granted there was litereally a little bit of everything, and the guy we were with made multiple trips.. i am not the best one to take to a china buffet.. Im a little picky about my meat, i did try the pepper chicken and the sweet and sour chicken.but i wasnt overwhelmed with the need to go back.. also tried the fruit, which wasnt quite ripe yet.. I dont know if it as just me being picky or not being in the mood for chinese, but i think i missed the table with the lo mein and fried rice... the service was friendly and fish in the pond were neat... but over all i wasnt impressed... read more

I'm going to step out and give them 5 stars! I've been here three times and I haven't had a problem with my food nor service. This place is clean and the food is Fresh. The flavors of the food are great. There are some foods I don't eat but there is a grand variety that you can choose from that will meet your taste buds needs. It maybe a little pricey but the food is good! I've had better but this met MY EXPECTATIONS every time. So this will definitely be a spot I go to when I want to pig out at a Japanese buffet! If you are looking for a variety of food that is well-prepared, this is the place. It is not meant to be gourmet, but there is a good salad bar, fruit, and a variety of Chinese dishes and sushi. We have never had an issue with service. They are polite and responsive. read more

Don't waste your time or money! Non-accredited by BBB due to unanswered complaints! Rubber chicken, their reluctance to refill popular items such as crab legs and oysters. Food was bland, people at the register were complaining that they were charging too much. But the last straw was the HUGE ROACH that was walking on the light fixture above the buffet! I love this food and how inexpensive it is! But me and my friend had a rough experience in receiving our checks. The lady who took our cards made us rush to immediately give her our cards and when she returned she had scanned the wrong cards for the wrong meals. We proceeded to say it was fine and then she was very rude and persistent about how much tip we left her. So rude ! read more

Not sure what to say about Ichiban. My family and I have been there a handful of times and the food has been mostly ok, not great, but not bad. Today (9/10/16), we walked in and the manager or whoever he is was coughing as he showed us to a table. Later we saw him coughing as he walked by the buffet area. I picked up a plate at the buffet and felt something sticky/gooey. I turned it over and it looked like sour cream or something all over the bottom of it. I had to dig through half a dozen plates before finding a clean one. I knew we should have left at that point, but that's where my family wanted to eat, so we stayed. Later, my wife still had food on her plate and reached across the table to wipe something off my daughter's face, and the waitress took her plate away. We have never had that happen at a restaurant before. Then, when I paid the bill, I chose not to leave a tip. I don't normally leave a tip at buffets because they are mostly do it yourself. The waiter had the nerve to ask why I didn't leave a tip. We could hear him complaining to another person about it. Anyway, I honestly forgot to sign the receipt and he slapped it down in front of me and said "You didn't sign receipt!!!" I went ahead and left a tip anyway, since that is the last time we will ever go there. I am sorry to say but Ichiban has lost my business forever. It is filthy and the staff are rude. There are a couple other Chinese restaurants in the area that are far better and in the same price range. Royal Panda and New Asia are two that come to mind. They don't have a buffet. A buffet really craps up a restaurant and invites all kinds of undesirable activities in the vicinity of the food - picking boogers, coughing/sneezing, dropping food then putting it back in the tray, etc. And that's just what the employees do to it... This place is not even worthy of one star. I just finished visiting this tacking decorated establishment about 30 minutes ago. For my two small children and myself, the bill came to 31.44. I didn't even eat my plate because it was so nasty. The crab legs clearly came from crabs who had been disease ridden with polio, the chicken wasn't even chewable, sushi had absolutely no taste and the sauce I tried to cover it up with just to get some food in my system almost put me into a spice coma. My kids couldn't even stomach the Mac n cheese or pizza they offer. There is no service so I left no tip. Drinks aren't included in the buffet price. I had water with mine, so thankfully that saved me a few dollars. When paying the tab, I expressed my displeasure and basically got an "I don't care, please pay so I can continue driving my Benz." Everything is clearly cheap in this place from decor to what they use to feed you. I agree that it seems people are all about quantity over quality. This stuff is not fit for human consumption. I wouldn't feed it to lab animals either. I am a cancer survivor and I'm pretty sure if I had eaten anymore, my cancer cells would have reactivated and grown. Do not waste your money. read more

First, very little vegetables. The broccoli is hard, only yellow rice which is over cooked. They offer salad, however, who would put ice cubes in a bowl of iceberg lettuce? It retains water as it is. The butter potatoes were too salty. The ribs were tough, there were several unrecognizable meats. The food was not hot, noodles over cooked. Generic ice milk for ice cream. Also, you must be careful when eating sushi. It should not be left out or at warm temperatures, so BEWARE! If you like to eat meat only this may be a place for you. Some of the best asian food I've had in a long time. Some of it wasn't the freshest but I went at 8 o'clock on a Sunday night so I expected it. Our waitress was really nice (even if her english was poor) and always asked to clear away our plates moments after we were done. What impressed me the most was that, when I asked, they quickly made more of the sushi I wanted. The atmosphere was very pleasant and I did not feel rushed to leave, even after they were closed.
