3/20/25 I will be coming here more often! The front worker, she was very friendly and welcoming. She made sure i had plenty of napkins, asked if i needed extra chopsticks all of which i didnt even get the chance to bring up before she asked. She even gave me extra fortune cookies which is always a plus! The food was very tasty and was still very warm by the time i brought it back home. I did not need to wait excessively for the food. Let me start out by saying the meal wasn't a 5 star meal. However, the 2.4 doesn't reflect the quality I received tonight so I have to help them out a little. The food was a 3.8 to 4.0. I've lived near this place for years. Never tried it, especially because I base my food decisions off of Yelp . My wife and kids wanted Teriyaki last minute and it was directly on my way home, so I decided to give it a shot. Also, with my quest for amazing Teriyaki through Yelp, ive found good Teriyaki but never anything so different that made me flip out with excitement. I ordered a chicken teriyaki with sauce on the side. I got my wife a stir fried vegetable with chicken (not really on the menu), and an order of gyoza. Maybe it was the low expectations, but the chicken wasn't dry, great grilled flavor and fresh. The Teriyaki sauce on the side was a little gelatinous but still tasted great. The stir fried vegetables with chicken wasn't amazing, pretty much a thinner Teriyaki sauce, but it wasn't terrible. A little too sweet for the healthier dish we were going for, but definitely edible. The gyozas were good as well, not quite as hot as I wanted but still a good crisp and good filling flavor. If you are looking for quick, not awful, generic Teriyaki, then I would recommend this place. Also, it was pretty hard to find a current menu anywhere online so I'm uploading that as well. read more

This is not the fanciest of places, being in a shopping center. We primarily get food to go. The food is very good, and service is fast. We have never had a problem with a meal from here. When we are in the mood for a quick teriyaki fix in the Lake Tapps area, this is where we go. read more

Spicy chicken wasn't so spicy but it was good. Shrimp tempura was just fried shrimp dropped in a fry basket. combination short ribs and spicy chicken was good. RUDE, RUDE, RUDE! My husband ordered four things, two which were supposed to be CH5 (sweet-and-sour chicken). My husband and my two boys have ordered this for 20+ years. He gets home and it's beef and chicken teriyaki. I drove there to exchange it and she blamed my husband. I wasn't having it. I am done with crappy customer service. I told her there's so many other ways she could've handled this if she didn't want to say she's sorry, but she continued to say it was my husband's fault. I've been here at least half a dozen times in the short time that I've been in the city, and this place checks all the boxes for me. It's nearby, the food is reliably good, and service is quick and easy. I get the impression that the people who work here are family who don't take days off, so everyone complaining about the lady not smiling while serving them can step off. The portions are large, and they have rotating daily specials where you can get $1 off different combos. Im boring though, so I always get the pork, which is consistently delicious. My only complaint is that the water tastes like the tap water in Texas, but more often than not I opt to do take out, so that isn't an issue. Been to this establishment twice now the first time the people were super friendly, and I ordered the garlic chicken and it was not what I expected, but it was delicious. Decided to head back there today I walked in the place was empty other than one customer which was sitting at the table. I walked up to the counter to place my order, and the lady was ignoring me. Then, in a very irritated tone, the lady behind the counter looks at me from the other end and asked " Do you need help?" Stated that I would like to place an order to which she seemed very annoyed. I ordered the spare ribs, which was OK, but really left something to be desired. The meat was very very fatty and not very flavorful. It was served on a bed of what I believe is cabbage. Not what I expected for a $25 (21.99 + tax) I plan on going again to try something else because I like to support local businesses. My second visit did not leave me inspired to go back. read more

My only comments about this business are about the menu. I ordered takeout and used the menu here on yelp. When the cashier rung me up I mentioned that online the price is $9.69 for the beef. I ordered the teriyaki chicken and a side of gyoza to go. The chicken was juicy and delicious. The serving size was very large, enough for my mom and I and leftovers for lunch tomorrow! I have eaten here before and never been disappointed. I find it funny when people complain about the prices because everything is more expensive than it used to be how do you expect business to stay open if they don't raise their prices. Fried rice seemed to be like the frozen kind you can buy in a grocery store. Chicken breast "pieces" were just thrown on top, not cooked in. I specifically asked for light cooking oil (the Bonney Lake Ichi always accommodates this for me), & it was like it was soaked in oil. Don't really know how you mess up Teriyaki Chicken: lacked flavour, chicken was dry and extremely rubbery. Their "soup" is just egg, a couple pieces of corn, peas and carrots and water with pepper, it's terrible. The woman behind the counter is always on her phone and you feel that you're disturbing her. The whole time you're in there they are playing Spirit 105.3 (Christian radio) which I just couldn't handle and religion and politics are ways to deter customers. My husband and I have been eating at this restaurant for several years. The last year has not been up to par. Tonight I ordered the yakisoba beef and chicken fried rice with two egg rolls. There was maybe six small slices of beef and is yakisoba and one piece of broccoli. Chicken fried rice was completely unflavored full. The chicken fried rice did have more chicken in it then the yakisoba had beef but it lacked everything else. Went for the egg rolls they were cold. I will not order from here again. I keep reading about the lady behind the counter being mean, but she wasn't awful to me. She just seemed like a tired lady after a long day. My problem was I paid almost $20 for 2 smallish portions of food that I had to pick through for appealing parts. I had read the reviews about the food being bad, but I figured my husband and I aren't picky people, and it was still open at 7:30 so we tried it out. I got broccoli and beef, and he got chicken katsu. It was ready in 10 minutes for takeout as promised. The katsu had a strange breading on it I've never seen before on any other katsu (and I eat it a lot) that gave it a strange flavor, like they'd used panko with seasoning that wasn't meant for this dish. There wasn't much tonkatsu sauce, but the rice was fine. My broccoli and carrots were thin and limp like they'd been cooking too long (but it was less than 10 minutes from the time I ordered), but they were all I ended up eating of the dish because the beef was really not good. Each piece had kind of a thick slimy brown sauce on it, which I realized from the taste was way too much flour. The sauce tasted like flour too, but the beef was just covered in it. The rice was fine, except for where it was soaked in the sauce at the bottom! We finished eating what we could and said, "Well, now we know."
