I ordered #6 charbroiled skewered prawns on a bed of stir-fry vegetables. My plate did not come with stir-fry vegetables. Picture below. Instead they gave me salad and rice.

The hype is real here! Like the feeling when you get your first apartment and can now say, "#$#% them dishes" and eat cookies in the bed. The Food: The good here is always top notch and if you're from the Seattle area we know our Teriyaki. The portion sizes here always HUGE and you can make any entree spicy for .50 more (totally worth it, take a pill). I usually get the amazing spicy chicken, but this time I ordered the spicy teriyaki beef and it was just as good. The beef was cooked very nicely and the portion size was about double what you would get at a normal teriyaki restaurant. I definitely plan on going back and trying more of their menu. PROS: -Food -Portion size -Speedy service -Prices CONS: -Seating area -No Curry Katsu

Updating review: Well .... Staying off the carbs so I wanted JUST mixed veggies - no rice. They charged me the $11.25 PLUS ANOTHER $4.50 for stir fry veggies which was ONLY 2 1/2 cups of cabbage and ONE broccoli floret ????? If your going to order just off the menu with no changes - good place -- but making changes $$$$ -- they charge you for every little thing. Not happy about the EXTRA CHARGES, just because I don't want the carbs in my order.

    #16 chicken teriyaki & Gyoza

Once again want to be able to give a half star. I would like to give 3 1/2 for this teriyaki place but can't give 4. Met a friend here for lunch about a week ago. We both ordered the same thing the #16 chicken teriyaki & gyoza combo. Was disappointed they didn't have lunch specials at lower prices. And had I realized the size of the order my friend and I could have split it. She wisely ordered hers with teriyaki sauce on the side. Mine was drowned in the sauce. The meat itself was good. All white meat. The salad also received a generous helping of dressing. The gyoza were my favorite part of the meal. We dined in and it got quite smoky from the kitchen. Luckily the lady working the counter opened the door to air it out. Unfortunately she shut it too soon and it got smoky again shortly. I think they need a better ventilation system in their kitchen.

This place is damn good. Full stop…read more I'm so tired of sushi restaurants feeling like I've walked into the same spot wearing a different font. Dragon roll? Yep. Rainbow roll? Sure, love her. Fresh and delicious is table stakes at this point. What I'm actually looking for is creativity--something inventive, exciting, new. Not papier-mâché. Not arts and crafts. Just... something I haven't already eaten a hundred times. Sushi Konami absolutely gets it. The appetizers alone deserve their own standing ovation. The breaded oysters are fantastic, especially drizzled in the chili sauce on the side. And then there are the "monkey brains"- basically a large mushroom stuffed with cream cheese and crab, battered and fried into a tempura ball of joy. Does it sound like it could stop your heart after one bite? Possibly. Will you regret eating it? Absolutely not. Just bring a defibrillator and a positive attitude. The rolls are consistently unique and interesting, the kind where you read the description and think, Okay, I trust you. It honestly feels hard to go wrong here. And if you're more of a traditionalist, no worries, you can still get your dragon roll or rainbow roll and be perfectly happy. Highly recommended. Already looking forward to my next visit.

The sushi rolls are fresh and super delicious. If you also can't dine-in for sushi, you should consider the Konami Set (set of 3 rolls for $35 excluding tax / tips - you can order as many sets of 3 rolls as you wish). I always do Konami Sets (2 Konami sets = 6 rolls). The waitresses are super friendly, too. The restaurant interior is fine, so bringing someone as your date wouldn't be a bad idea. Every time I eat Konami Sushi, I sincerely appreciate the chefs for making these sushi rolls because I still refuse to roll one myself.

They have…read moreincreased their lunch prices since then so just be aware that the menus I posted last year are not the same as this current year. I had gotten their bento lunch special last year and was very happy with the amount of food but did not receive miso soup. They raised this price by $5 and I couldn't really justify that so I decided to get something else. My boyfriend got their sushi roll lunch special last time and in our recent visit and was happy with his choices. I got the sushi rolls lunch specials this time and I wished the rolls had more rice on them as there spots that had no rice at all or it would just come apart. For our rolls, we have tried their Philly roll, shrimp tempura roll, Lion King Roll, and spicy Bay roll. The sushi here is just your average sushi spot. It doesn't really differentiate itself from other places. For example, the spicy bay roll that I got just had a line of sriracha sauce and I was hoping for their own spicy sauce to top it off. The teriyaki was good from what I remembered but again, nothing to really differentiate it from other nearby locations. The service is friendly but they never come back to check on you or refill waters. Even when we were finished, the waitress was watching TV and must have got engrossed in it that she forgot we were there as no take out orders or other customers came in while we were there. They do have a large TV playing sports but no music and the TV was rather quiet. The space is nice but it just felt very dark but we sat next to a window so I could take nice pictures. I think this will be our last visit as there are other locations offer a better dining experience with better service and ambiance.

Average prices and worth every penny. I will be def be back and I do recommend. Side note: I am a little bit of a Sushi snob as I've eaten it from Japan to San Francisco. We started grabbing plates off the conveyer belt and 7-8 mins later, when the server walked back, I tried to order some additional items off the menu. We were told that we couldn't order off the menu since you were about to close at 9pm. (Mind you - we weren't trying to order anything fancy, we wanted California rolls that weren't on the conveyor belt) I asked if the server could double check, she never came back to confirm if they could be ordered or not, but the sushi roller guys were awesome and came back with a plate of California rolls. I would have ordered 2 orders if the server had bothered to ask how many we wanted - but she didn't, so I asked the sushi guy if we could have one more. He said it wasn't a problem and was great at resolving that "ordering off the menu" issue. In the middle of eating, a different server (head server tonight?) was cleaning up and asked if we could pass over the soy sauce, wasabi, and ginger containers. We get that the restaurant was closing soon-ish, but we still had almost 30 mins left until closing and were getting uncomfortable feeling like we were being rushed out. When it was time to checkout, we asked if they had military discount. The girl said "I don't think so?" so I had to ask if she could verify. (they do offer military discount by the way) In the end, I asked if I could speak with a manager. There was no manager so I asked for the next person in charge which I'm guessing was the head server. She came out and I explained how we were disappointed to be sat down with menus, yet not able to order off of said menu. (What's the point of being given a menu if you can't order off of it??) If we were told the kitchen was closing soon from the get-go we could have ordered asap. It was the server's 3rd day on the job, so for sure want to give some grace, but at the same time, I wanted the place to know that maybe there were some training issue that could be addressed - which is why I wanted to mention it to a manager. After explaining our issues to the next server up, she didn't apologize one bit or seem to care really. So, putting all this on here in hopes for management to see it and: 1) let customers know from the get-go if they can't order their meal off the menu 2) don't ask customers to start passing over condiments in the middle of their meal while you're trying to clean up while the restaurant is still open 3) train staff to know if military discount is offered 4) if issues arise train staff to be problem solvers har a customer service mindset. Sushi guys were great, but servers just seemed to want to close up and leave TLDR Food was good, overall experience not so much, customer service lacking
