We had never been here before & had questions about what came in the matcha afogato as well as some other things on the menu. The employee that was helping us kindly answered all our questions & I really appreciated that. They don't wear nametags there so I had to ask her name, so incase her manager saw this review they can recognize her for her patience & kindness. Her name I believe was Jaylene. Tried out the new ICESKIMO today, the new location is gorgeous and the service was excellent. We tried a couple of new items from the menu. Both the original and chocolate bubble waffle were bomb, but the new star was the Ube soft serve. I consider myself a soft serve connoisseur and it was creamy, smooth and delicious. My favorite is the Nutella. You can even add a tayaki to your soft serve, which is what I recommend, but they are just plain delicious on their own. They've got an amazing array of other concoctions; my daughter's favorite being the Bruce Lychee snow and my favorite being the Tiger Milk Tea because I'm not a huge ice cream lover like the rest of my family is. Came here during the soft opening. Luckily, I drove by and saw that they were open. Must be my good ice sight. Upon entering, the store was very clean and tidy. Its has a similar ambiance than the convoy location, while also being probably double the size! I really enjoyed the decor and seating. I had the pleasure of dealing with 3 employees during the ordering process. First, a man took our order (original milk shaved ice and sea cream milk tea) and proceeded to shave the ice. Next, the lady at the register rang us up. Lastly, there was another man making my tea order. Each of them handled us with care and were very pleasant. My tea was even hand delivered once it was done (they brew it fresh upon ordering!). Overall, this was a very pleasant experience and I'm glad I dropped by during the soft opening. Visited this location on a very hot day. There was surprisingly no wait. Camille was very helpful with the menu and helped me decide to get the Tiger soft serve. It wasn't too sweet for me and it was just what I was looking for. There's a variety of desserts to choose from on the menu and I can't wait to go back and try something new. If I wanted to describe Iceskimo, I would describe it as a yogurt land but with different flavors of shaved ice, combined with a boba shop and a waffle shop. I went to this location around 1pm and there was a line but it wasn't too long. The staff was friendly and service was quick but it seemed like they could use a hand or two to help them. Which is understandable because they had just opened shop recently. The room was wide and open, with a decent amount of seating. I ordered the Sea Salt Milk tea with boba and a milk flavored shaved ice. I ordered condensed milk in between and I topped the shaved ice with mango pudding, almond pudding, and kiwi's. One thing I have to say though is that the boba drink is a little small for the price but the flavor made up for it. As of February 2020, the cost of the shaved ice was 59 cents/oz, and the milk tea was 4.50. The total cost of the trip was about $14. I would definitely come back to try more of their flavors! read more

Yesterday she ordered it to go but it took them a while to give us the drink. There was no line when we got there so we just didn't expect to wait that long when it started to get crowded since we placed our order first. Unfortunately, they served everyone their snow orders first then made our drink after that. Just a little bit disappointed about that since we were in a hurry. The food is delicious and my kids love going there. However the servers are always rude and seem upset to be having to serve children. Once i came in 20 min before they closed and they said "we're closing" I immediately felt unwelcomed and snapped back (i was pregnant) "are you closing or are you closed?" They stuttered. Lies. So I am constantly watching that on my children. Today I wend in with a gf and our two 4 year olds. They were so excited to go in and go in together. So regardless of us commanding them not to touch anything, they would and it got to the point that when i was paying my 4 year old touched one of the gummies upseting the cashier a shorter gentleman with black glasses and short black hair. Yes i get it my son touched the gummy, I scolded him myself. It is a business and now they have to trash that. What upset me was his behavior, a split second passed by when he picked it up made a loud sigh and put it aside not saying a word. It was very passive aggresive, and he said no words to us other than ask for our order. Then before leaving the kids ran to the display sizes of their cups and they touched one he took it from them and inspected the paper cup! God forbid they damage the paper cup they have thousands of. Meanwhile they have sanrio drawings all over the spot and the kids kept talking to him and pointing them out and still not a word or a smile nothing. He kept moving around wherever the kids would be. I would understand if it if I wasnt on top of them and letting them do whatever but when this happens in my job and I deal with high value ticket items I do not intervene if the parents are doing their job. They can only do so much we only ask they try and we are talking about items in the tens of thousands not gummies and paper cups that wont be used again. Anyway to conclude: He was so irritated by children and again i get it its a business but if children getting excited at an icecream shop is so frustrating then maybe you are in the wrong place for you. This place has the best Ube soft serve. My kids and I love coming here. The staff is very friendly. The only negative things I have to say is that the music they play is filled with profanity and inappropriate lyrics. The staff also uses profanity sometimes when talking amongst themselves. I stopped by Iceskimo to get boba with my friend, she ordered a tiger milk and I ordered the strawberry matcha. I am not a picky person, but honestly our drinks tasted so bad. I don't know why, I thought it was just my drink but her drink also tasted gross. Additionally, I ordered my drink online and was told that they would take 10 mins. I waited 15 and went inside and thought the drinks would be ready. When I told the worker my name, that is when they started to make it, even though when I walked in, they weren't doing anything. While waiting in line to order, I couldn't help but notice the worker was handling a rag of some sort with the same gloves used to handle the shaved ice blocks.
