Came to this place looking for a cool, refreshing, and tasty dessert. Unfortunately, it was a let down. The lady taking the order was very rude and seemed to be displeased with working there. I asked a couple of questions and got some sour and disinterested replies in return. The ice was clumpy and had huge pieces making it hard to eat. The rice was a gloopy sticky mess, and overall everything lacked flavor. The mango tasted old, but the strawberries were somewhat good or fresh. I will not be coming back, and hope they learn how to treat their customers with adequate customer service next time. The only good thing I have to say is that they do put in a good amount of toppings, I just wish the quality matched the price.

I was wanting some Meetfresh or Hui Lau Shan but neither have locations in Rancho. Ice Rice luckily hits the same spot for me! Located next to Esporta Fitness, I couldn't resist getting a nice post-workout snack. It's fun to build your bowl. I got the ginger milk which was delicious and flavorful. The Hokkaido milk sounded appealing, but didn't taste unique or distinct from normal milk at all. The star is the sticky rice at the bottom of the bowl. It's soft and freshly made. The texture of the rice complements the milky soup and toppings very well. The sticky rice also helps Ice Rice stand out from other Asian dessert places. My major criticism is that some of the toppings taste overwhelmingly artificial. I do not recommend the strawberry jelly. It just tastes like chemicals. The rainbow mochi are soft and chewy, but it also tastes artificial and packaged. I would skip some of these options and get red beans, peanuts, grass jelly, brown sugar boba, condensed milk, and the like instead.

I constantly come back to this place! The deserts are tasty and never fail to hit the spot. The owner is the only worker so it might take some time but i've never waited longer than 20 minutes. It's in a pretty quiet place and has cute decorations. I love that her logo is of the owner. If you're looking for a quick and new desert i'd recommend going here.

Very unique place. The drink didn't disappoint me at all. I think I should try the dessert recommended by them next time. It is highly recommended.

After seeing the reviews from this place, my friends and I were intrigued to try this place. My friends and I asked questions because we were unsure of what the dessert was because we were confused of the explanation the employee gave us. She seemed pretty annoyed with us, even though there was no one else in the store... maybe we got the wrong impression but we felt negative vibes from her. Anyways, going onto the dessert, it is basically sticky rice, with tea/flavor of your choice, ice, and 5 toppings. We got the Hokkaido Milk Rice, Strawberries, Mango, Coconut, Lychee Jelly, and Mochi. Honestly the taste wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't good. It was very mid. OH ALSO the coconut is tiny shaved dry coconut, we didn't realize and it was lk sticking to our throats making us cough haha... but yeah the dessert was kinda bland. Maybe it was the flavor we got?? We are still not sure. :( Presentation was lk pretty ugly. For some reason the ice was on top for our bowl, and it made it literally just look like a bowl with ice and tea at the bottom... I saw other pictures on Yelp and the presentation was so cute and some other guy came to order and his presentation looked pretty with all the fruit on top. Probably would not come back, maybe if I did I would try the drinks but not for the rice bowl. Sad cause we were excited to try this place after seeing all the positive reviews. I'd rate it 1.7 stars.

Wow, what a unique and wonderful Asian dessert spot. Imagine this: sticky rice, your choice of a base liquid, and 5 included toppings ranging from what would be offered at your typical boba place and fruits. Then, topped off with small pieces of ice. Honestly haven't had a more refreshing dessert than this before. The service is fine, and the environment is chill. It's not that cheap, but it's worth it and very filling. Definitely try it out.

I have never heard of this concept before, but after today I am obsessed. You pick a milk tea base, they throw in a sticky rice ball, and then you can choose up to 5 free toppings (any additional has an extra charge). I added sesame powder to my Thai base and it was AMAZING. At $10-$14 per bowl, it is quite a lot for a bowl but comparable to acai bowl prices. I honestly loved it. So unique and the place is decorated super cutesy with pastel colors and matching seating areas inside. There was only one woman working there and she was so nice! It was pretty empty (it was a rainy day) but we felt super comfortable and ate well!

I found this place on yelp and I'm so glad I did I ordered a basic ice rice base and the topping selection was so good and I was so satisfied and and really enjoyed it and the atmosphere was nice and clean and the customer service was great! Will definitely be back this place should be busier than it is!

I keep coming back because the atmosphere is beautiful, the service is welcoming, everything I order is a hit, and the pricing makes sense!! I ordered 2 specialty drinks with add-ons and it totaled $13!!! The neighboring shops literally could never! The red romance is the perfect blend between watermelon, strawberry, and tea. Not too sweet, but also not too bitter like most teas tend to be. I can't wait to return to try the ice jellies and yogurts!

Located next to Old Navy, kinda hidden, I drove past it thinking it was in another part of the plaza. I chose to get the Thai Ice ($12.99) with the 5 toppings of sliced strawberries, blueberries, lychee jelly, chia seeds, and small mochi. It was not too sweet and it was a bit different from the Thai tea that I make, it's has a very light tea flavor to it. Reminds me of halo-halo, a Filipino dessert version that I grew up on or cendol which comes with green rice flour jelly with almost the same toppings. The staff is nice and the place is clean.

I usually have a big sweet tooth and was very excited to try this place after seeing the Yelp reviews but this is definitely not what I expected. I ordered a medium ginger milk rice bowl. It just wasn't good. Someone compared it to hui lau Shan and meet fresh but this is not comparable to it at all! Not a fan of the ice rice concept. But my friend got a yogurt drink and it was good but very sweet. The service was nice and the lady was very patient. Also the inside is cute

First time here so we ask the cashier what she likes, but she likes everything okay.. what's her favorite.. she didn't say... understandable its New Year day and a big group just walked in before us. The portion is small and the price I think is overpriced and they charged 4% additional for using CC. The sticky rice and chuncks of pineapple is decent not the best. We came because its something new for us, we used to have mango sticky rice at Thai Restaurant. Maybe next time we will try something else. Parking not a problem.

Original Ice Rice comes w/ 5 toppings $12.99

I noticed this place last month after the first couple reviews came in. It looked interesting so I decided to check it out. They're located within the Terra Vista Town Center (between Ross and Old Navy). I wasn't even sure what I was ordering the first time so I my instinct was just to try the Classic Ice Rice ($12.99) base to start. You get to pick 5 toppings so I went with strawberries, mango, watermelon, chia, and boba. There's a sticky rice ball inside as well and then a milk tea is poured into it. This is not very sweet at all (other than the sweetness from the fruit) so if you want it more sweet, then ask for a drizzle of honey. I think people are picturing mango sticky rice like you get from a Thai restaurant, but this is definitely different. I took it home to eat, and wasn't quite sure what to make of it. It's like a milk tea boba soup with fruit and other toppings eaten with a spoon. I didn't realize they had red bean as a topping, I totally would have added that! I started hearing from others that the Ube Ice Rice was really good so when I was at the Terra Vista Town Center to meet up with a friend, I stopped in again on my way home. This time, I got the Ube Ice Rice ($12.99) and got red bean, strawberry, blueberry, mango, and boba. Eating this during the heat wave (it was 105 degrees that day), really hit the spot. I also ended up getting one of their blueberry drinks (Heart of Ocean) too. The second time around really got me to like this place; especially after trying the ube ice rice. Based on social media, I already know this is not everyone's "cup of tea" or that they would consider this "pricey" at $12.99, but to each their own.
