I have had a lot of experiences - good and bad - and I can honestly say that Eyezone is the best I have ever been to. From the moment you walk in the door to the beautiful lobby, you are greeted warmly. Before my appointment, they were very helpful with answering questions about certain exams that my insurance covered. The forms were easy to fill out (most of them you can do online beforehand) and before I knew it, the appointment had began. The pre-exam was an absolute breeze. I was ushered from room to room with speed, though I didn't feel like anything was being missed. I just got the sense that they understood that my time was valuable and wanted to make everything as efficient as possible. After that, I didn't wait in the exam room that long before my doctor was there. She was just amazing. Conversation with her was so easy, something I rarely experience with a medical professional. She did the standard tests and figured out my vision perfectly, and she was great about answering questions I had and even mentioning that pregnancy and breastfeeding can change my vision a bit, something that not even my medical doctor had told me! She was extremely knowledgeable and I found it easy to trust everything she said. When it was time to pick out my glasses, the gal that helped me was equally awesome. She was patient with my picky self, and chose a frame that I never would've picked up and it turned out to be the perfect fit for my facial structure. She was very up-front about what my insurance covered, and the options that I had with my high prescription. She had a smile on her face the entire time and made me feel so welcome. Overall, it is clear that everyone in this office works hard to create a comforting and warm environment. They are efficient and diligent, but slow down for questions and concerns where needed. They gave me a thorough examination and Dr. Savitt took the time to explain very well the reasons for some of my symptoms. I did not feel rushed or made to feel that my concerns were not important. He even took the time to re-check the vision tests to make sure. Gina helped me find glasses and another tech came over to help me make a decision on which classes looked best! Why do I always go to pick out glasses by myself? So they really helped me decide. Gina also was very thorough- making sure of the fit of the lens on my eyes. I just think she was very professional, and again, she did not rush me and was very nice to work with! I can't wait for my glasses to come in! When I called to schedule the exam they asked for my insurance, I told them I don't have eye coverage that I would just pay the full cost up front. After the exam I saw a pair of glasses with a sticker price of $150 dollars. I sat down with the secretary to purchase them, and after she filled out the form the final cost for the glasses was almost $800. I told her never mind I'd just go with the contacts which they said were $68, I said fine. Then they give me a cost for double that (two boxes) plus about $150 for the eye exam. I know contacts are cheaper online so I declined those as well, and said I'll just pay for the exam (last time I went to Walmart and got the exam and contacts for about $150). They again asked me for my insurance, I told them I don't have eye coverage and I'd just pay the total now. They ran my card for the total. Three weeks later I get a call from the office asking for my insurance. At this point I realize what type of bad business this company does. I told her "I already paid the total why would you need my insurance", and she was like a broken record "we just need your insurance to bill them it's probably covered" and I'm like "I don't owe you any money?!" She says ok and next thing I know I get a bill in the mail for almost another $150. So almost $300 just for an eye exam. (The average price for an eye exam is under $100). This is a business that preys on probably an older customer base who don't know there are much cheaper and equally good alternatives.

Erika listened to my problem from a previous eye doctor. I then spoke to someone who books appointments and made me aware that I have to pay $75 because I was charged an actual appointment even though the last place was unsuccessful of getting a prescription for my daughter. Anyway, the doctor looks at the paperwork and says "Not sure why we're doing this appointment." Right in front of me, I kept my cool as I wanted a new prescription for her. We were back in the exam room, and I'm trying to explain to the doctor (as I was trying to address his rude comment) why I scheduled this appointment. While I was talking my daughter was answering the questions he quickly cut me off so he could hear her answers.
