This practice is a factory for geriatric patients with retinal problems. The doctor put the wrong reason for my coming in the portal report, he was not up to date on recent concussion research with retinal problems and he was visibly rushed as was the staff to get the large number of patients in the waiting room through their visits. My problems had all started occurring 3 - 5 months after a life threatening concussion from a semi truck accident, but the doctor had no interest in the change in my eyes from before the accident. I was a youthful, physically active 65 year old with excellent vision before the accident occurred, but in this practice I was treated as if "old cattle." One women in the center waiting room, said, "Honey, to them you are over 65 and an old person and you will be treated as such." I kept hearing her statement in my mind with the doctor's dismissive attitude towards me and rush so that important facts were never discussed. I would not recommend this practice. Staff were rushed with patients and the culture was not one of respect towards the patients, but rather contempt. I have been to a number of doctors after the speeding semi crashed into my car, but have never had a negative experience like this. read more
