This was our second time stopping by. It had been a couple years since we first tried it and since so many others in the area always recommend it, we figured it was the perfect stop on a hot day. When we got there, there were no other customers. The employee taking our order was not friendly and seemed frustrated from the start. We asked her a couple questions about some of the specialty snow-cones since there weren't any descriptions listed and she responded with minimum info that provided 0 clarification. When my husband asked a question regarding the difference between two items, she repeated his question and just stared at him while looking very irritated. He asked again and she continued to give him a blank stare, still not responding. The entire thing was extremely uncomfortable and we couldn't get out of there quick enough. Hot summers in Crowley = frequent visits to Ice N East . The business is Black Owned, which is amazing! They have many flavors to choose from and they have a couple of tables which you can choose to sit at to enjoy your shaved ice! They have a menu with a combination of different flavors that they have specially curated, which I always choose from! But you may also choose to create your own. With the many flavors that they have to select from, it's safe to say that you will never get bored with this place! I wish that they did have flavor descriptions on their menu since some of the flavors do you have unique names, but that is me nitpicking. When it's 102 outside it's an "Ice N Easy" type of day! This place never disappoints me. Decided on something new today the "mangonada" very delicious! Everything in one sweet, tart with a touch of kick! Definitely a new fav for me. read more

We haven't had a bad one yet and I really don't think we ever will. The flavors are strong and they have so many adventurous choices I haven't gotten around to trying yet. Very creative options that everyone in the family will love. I had been seeing people posting about this place on Facebook so we decided to give it a try and I am so happy we did. You'll find your old favorites but be willing to stretch and try some of the crazy new options. The next time I go I'm trying the Rice Pudding shaved ice. This is the first shaved ice place that has me wanting to reach out of my norm and try new flavors. read more

My husband and I luv to support small businesses in our area. This one we, Luv it!! We tried it today, first time!! This will be our new place!! The salty lizard was shockingly good!! The ice really like flavored snow. The variety of flavors are good too so hopefully we can try each one every time we visit.
