I've been working since 10th grade to help my mom because she is a single parent so for me the loss of about 5k including repairs leave me without transportation as I can not afford to repair it at this point. I've spent 3.7k on a bike, this isn't including the repairs i had to pay over the span of a year which amount to at least 1.4k+ after random bolts detaching and motor failing, and as soon as the warranty expired my bike had a random electrical issue where the bike wouldn't accelerate. From the owner Pete: OK, where are you going? (Direct email sent from owner) 1- Last Mile NYC replaces all of the electronics on your bike. The cost of the parts and labor is $2910.54 2- Send your bike back to Super73. They will do their own diagnosis, and determine the issues and fix the problems. Unfortunately your bike is not under warranty, the cost of packing up and freighting your bike to and from Super73 will be around $1200. Plus their diagnostic fee, parts and labor. The staff throughout (there are two floors) are pretty friendly and bursting with energy. The second floor is where the glass is housed, along with a ton of sex toys/accessories. East West also offers an array of skater themed clothing, posters, and accessories. The only place I've found in Hudson/Bergen county that sells sand bag hackey sacks (without those weird beads inside). Things are modestly priced here and they have pretty interesting little nicknacks. Like Spencer's without all the Twilight. All in all, its one of the better smoke shops on this side of the Hudson.

Nestled among the restaurants and the R train in Astoria, Long Island City Kleaners has opened up. LICK is not another dry-cleaning facility, but a skate shop that supplies skate/urban influenced apparel. LICK has this urban yet artsy environment in the store. The store just gives off an early 90's urban feel due to a few paintings line the wall along, and a beautiful vintage sewing machine in the shop window. Much of the stock of the store has yet to be arriving since it has just opened. But the store does have a wide variety of shirts, hats, shoes, and skate wax. Long Island City Kleaners is a skate shop that will provide apparel and goods to the nearby residents of Astoria and Woodside.
