Absolutely loved visiting Dairyland Dessert Cafe during Stoughton's Victorian Holiday weekend. They…read moreheld a High Tea in the afternoon - it consisted of a pot of tea and 4 sweet or savory goodies from a selection (not everything in the case was an option). I went with a butter chicken tart, Secret Garden (veggie) tart, cheddar scone, and the Victoria sponge cake. Everything was delightful! For my tea I selected Republic of Tea Sip and be Merry flavor - loved it. The atmosphere inside was warm and festive. There were holiday decor items displayed for sale and cozy seating in addition to tables. They even have a cozy little nook for kiddos! I am looking forward to future visits to try other goodies! I did take home a ginger spice cheesecake bomb (sooo good) and a slice of the Ukrainian honey cake (yum!). Highly recommend a visit to this wonderful cafe!

Quiet and lots of comfy chairs. We ended up ordering the ginger spice cheesecake bomb to go, mainly because there were some fun shaped designs of the cheesecake. Unfortunately, we didn't get to pick out our shape. Probably would have gone with the tree instead of the snowman if we could have, mainly because we were splitting the piece. It may have just been me, but it seemed like the snowman was the smallest in size of the options. It would have been nice to be able to pick from the shapes in the cooler. The ginger spice was quite nice and had a bailey's inside. The flavors blended well together and the cheesecake as smooth and silky. Pretty tasty and fun treat.

Favorite sandwich place! The inside is eclectic and the owner is super sweet and inviting. I order…read morethe TAB every time..turkey, bacon, and apples ! The stone ground bread is hearty and comforting. I would only say the service is a bit on the slower end taking awhile to make a few sandwiches/wraps. However, a great spot always!

My sister had a bowl of the creamy asparagus soup and the TAB (turkey, apple, and bacon) on GF bread. She got it the recommended way with banana peppers, onions, and spinach. The combination of sweet, savory, and tangy really made this sandwich!! The creamy broth on the asparagus soup was so delicious. The chicken tortilla soup was also really good with a slight kick and huge chunks of chicken. I do wish it was a little less thick (or condensed), but just my preference. Their cheesesteak came with marinara on the side. First time I had one with marinara, but it had great flavor. The steak was juicy and good, but a slightly smaller portion than I expected. I did only get the mini size though. The veggies were sliced extremely thin and it was toasted before the spinach and tomato were added! Service was excellent- extremely kind and very helpful! The inside was gorgeous with the brick, wainscoting, tin ceilings, and local art!! Definitely recommend this quaint little gem in downtown Stoughton.

Time to update my review again -- and UPGRADE my review. I am consistently impressed by Viking Brew…read morePub. I love that it's a local joint, love that it has a legit Viking ship bar that blows smoke/steam, and love getting beer brewed on site. And a nice variety of beer at that. It had been awhile since I've been here, but it continues to be delicious. We came here for a Friday fish fry and while busy, the wait wasn't terrible at all. We went to the bar to grab a drink, and it seemed a bit wrong not to get a beer but it also seemed wrong not to get an Old Fashioned while waiting for a fish fry. So, Makers Old Fashioned Sour it was, and it was really good! I'd definitely order it again, and love that they didn't over-fill it with ice. It could sit for a bit and not get so terribly watered down. But OMG the fish fry! We try out a new fish fry spot every month, or at least most months, and I have to say this fish is probably my #1 that we've had. It was so delicious. The breading on the outside was light but crispy, and the inside was juicy and moist (sorry, it's really the best word to describe this!). I brought the third piece home (it took a lot of willpower not to eat it). I tear the breading off and give some of the fish as a topper for my pup's dinner. This fish and breading was seriously so good I'd eat the breading straight out of the refrigerator off the fish. The french fries were good, but had a few too many that were overly crunchy (reject fries, as I like to call them). Even so, still good and the fish still gets it 5 stars and the title of "Best." The roll that came with it was likewise delicious. Fun, local atmosphere and good food all around - the regular menu is great, the fish fry is great, the beer is great, and the drinks from the bartenders are great.

Elsa was a great and attentive server. Pepsi shop. The pretzel was great (we got the lingonberry…read moresauce instead of the mustard and it was a sweeter but very tasty substitute). The Norwegian meatballs were tasty (the brown gravy was a bit heavy) and the fresh roll was to die for! The chicken in my sandwich wasn't vey flavorful and did not bring out the flavor of the pesto aoli. I would go back to try other offerings on the menu.
