    Candy freeze

Just what we wanted for and ice cream stop! The banana split was large and in charge!!! The staff was friendly, quick and helpful with questions about the menu. The tables out front were clean and free of any crud. Just remember, to bring your cash, no plastic taken here , not a problem, just a heads up for those coming. It's a nice change of pace from the local "Blue roof" joint......

I love this classic ice cream treat joint Leave your credit card at home and bring cash! There's a drive-through and two windows for ordering. The staff is super nice and efficient. I love that there are tons of benches and tables outside, some in the shade. Soft service is king here, and they usually have a few flavors to choose from, but the choices don't end there. Tons of candy toppings, sodas, syrups, dips (hard shell chocolate, cherry, or butterscotch), ice cream sandwiches, frozen bananas, slushes and the list goes on...... There's a delicious sweet treat for everyone here!!

Is this the best ice cream I've ever had? Of course not. It is, however, a delightful stop on a summer day with prices that are nearly impossible to beat. Everything is bright pink and the menu is surprisingly large for being a walk-up window ice cream stand. I ultimately went for a childhood favorite, a chocolate cone with a cherry dip. A medium is huge, and while tasty and photogenic, I couldn't keep up with the rate at which the ice cream melted. I used literally 10+ napkins to stanch the drips, but the soft serve was melting quickly under the waxy cherry dip and I couldn't consume the coating fast enough. If I'd had a plain cone I think I would have managed to keep the dripping at bay. The cherry had a very fake flavor that I didn't love as much as an adult, but that doesn't surprise me considering it's bright red magic shell. The chocolate was a mild ice milk chocolate, but nice and creamy. My boyfriend got a chocolate/vanilla twist cone and our entire bill came to $3.75 flat. There's plenty of seating, though do be aware that many of the tables are at the heads of parking spaces; I had my back to a spot and had no idea a car had rolled up on me. Luckily the stopped with enough space for me to get out. There is a drinking fountain on the right side of the building if you need a drink or to wet some napkins to wipe up as I did. There's also a drive-thru if you don't want to stop. I don't end up in Fort often, but you can bet that next time I'm there I'll be goading my BF into making a Frostie stop!

Absolutely love this place!! Always the best service and the nicest employees. If you get the chance, do a mix vanilla/peach milkshake when peach is the flavor of the week!

Always a good place to get cream, just expect to wait in line during the summer. They have doggy cones which is most important and great prices.

Stopped here on our way through Fort Atkins and ordered ice cream for 7 people and my total was under $10! They don't make ice cream stands like this anymore. The menu offerings are huge and their are plenty of picnic tables situated around the property for everyone to have a place to sit. The only negatives are that their is no bathroom and they do not take credit cards. However, their is a Jimmy Johns rights across the road, we got lunch there, used the wash rooms and then headed over to the Frostie Freeze for dessert. If your passing through town make sure to stop for a treat.

    Picking out his favorite!

Fun little spot with outdoor seats. Right on the road so a little busy but a safe spot to have a cone. They have frozen bananas!

The best ice cream in town has one problem. The wait time is a severe issue. Especially the drive through.

Yes, do go to Frostie Freeze! The cookie dough candy freeze is the best, or any or the candy freezes for that matter.

If you are from Fort, this review is not necessary. If you are not from Fort, enjoy some small town charm and the best soft serve around.

A long wooden bench along the building, a patio around the back, or inside. Inside the building, there are small tables, mainly for 2 people. You will also find the ice cream counter where you can pick up any malts or shakes that you ordered. Bathrooms are also inside. It has a quaint malt shop feel to it, with some interesting memorabilia on the ways. You can watch them make up all the burgers, each one to order. You can get single or double smashburgers, with cheese and onions, which is what I ordered. Along with an order of Onion Rings. After about 10 minutes we got our food, in a paperbag, which we took inside. The food was good, hot, juicy, and flavorful. The onion rings were also very good. It's a cute place, and worth the drive out to experience a small town burger operation. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The burger was good, but I would have preferred to have it cooked longer for more caramelization (they use lard, and I would prefer butter).

Oh, where to start…read more We were on our way back from Cascade Mountain after a day of February skiing, and wanted to find a new steakhouse. My wife found this one, and we managed to snag a reservation for a table in the bar area. The sign has a stagecoach on it - it looks like the wheels could be made to spin from the neon, but they weren't the night we were there. See the photos below. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door. There is a spot to the left as you walk in to put your coats if you want. Once seated, look around. There is a ton of history on the wall, and we enjoyed the wall displays of old guns and equipment. They start you off with 3 different salads. You think "What? 3?" Yes, three, and pretty generous portions of them. There was a 3 bean salad, a pea salad, and another one, and all of them were very tasty. We tried not to leave any behind. We ordered their jalapeño cheese curds as an appetizer. The cheese curds were good, but we couldn't taste much jalapeño zing in them. The salad came out - it was what I'd call a basic steakhouse salad. Nothing fancy. I ordered their baked french onion soup - that was very good, with the cheese liberally applied over the top of the bread in the top, and plenty of tasty onions inside. For the main course, my wife had their fried fish, which was plentiful along with Au Gratin potatoes and cole slaw. I had their filet mignon, which was very tasty, seemed to be dry aged, and was sooo tender, with a baked potato. As much as we would have liked to order dessert, it wasn't in the cards. Dinner was more than filling enough. Would we come back? Oh yes we would. The service was excellent, the food was tasty, and the restaurant had a lot of interesting things to look at on the inside. The bathrooms are on the north end of the restaurant. The hallway was a little cold. The mens room was nice and clean, and smelled clean.

It was busy but they were able to seat us right away. Our pleasant server provided us with drinks an our orders came quickly. I had the Wednesday special queen cut prime rib with 4 deep fried shrimp, along with sides of salad, au gratin potatoes and chicken dumpling soup. I enjoyed it all. My prime was very tender. and My wife had the breaded pork tenderloin. There were two huge tenderloins that had thin and crispy breading and were moist inside. She enjoyed them but noted a little more seasoning in the breading would have been nice. Great atmosphere and set, good food with very filling portions. 4.5
