You know the ice cream is going to be great. This time I had the Chocolate Brownie Bites, or something like that, and Bear Lake Raspberry. Oh man...SO good! After I finished that, I had to go buy another scoop of that Chocolate Brownie Bites. The chocolate ice cream is creamy with perfectly sized chocolate slivers with perfect snap/crunch, and small chewy bites of brownies. SO good. Utah is an ice cream mecca. Snelgrove Ice Cream is one of those good reasons to live here. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

The cones tasted fresh and perfectly crunchy, which made the whole experience even better. The facility itself is super clean and well kept. The staff was accommodating with samples, which I appreciated, though they weren't especially warm or smiley beyond that. Overall, great ice cream and a clean shop. I'd definitely come back, especially for that lemon sour cream!

Service wasn't very friendly, but got the job done. I ordered a Reuben and onion rings. The portion of onion rings was more than expected but didnt have much flavor and no seasoning. Just your typical frozen and hard fried ring. The reuben was alright but about part for the corse for a Cafe deli. This place gets the job done, just keep expectations to a minimum.

After meandering through the museum, I had worked up an appetite the size of the dinosaurs I'd just seen. It was a bajillion degrees outside, so the last thing I wanted was hot food-and the chicken salad was calling to me. I'm glad I listened to the call. The salad was delicious-with pretty darn good ingredients. The portion size was very generous for the price and they were happy to point me to water cups rather than force me to buy an overpriced single-use bottle of water like other places do. (Can you tell how much I hate that?) My dining partner opted for a grilled cheese off the kids' menu and it looked less than appealing. Granted, I don't like cheese, but based on what he told me about it, there was nothing magical about the concoction of white bread and American Cheese smashed together. However, it's made for the kids and the kids don't usually care too much. I'll come back for that salad, though.

They offer samples so you can try out before purchasing, just know there will most likely be a long line while other customers are trying to decide what they want to buy. You'll get your chance too. The recommendations they have for the most popular flavors that day also help narrow down all your choices! I can't remember the cute titles for the ice cream, but there were the flavors we ordered: light pink Cactus Lime (either sorbet or sherbet), White Cheesecake with raspberry swirl, Purplish brown chocolate raspberry, and chocolate with peanut butter chunks.

Even the cotton candy is yummy! Pro tip: some employees there are waaaaay better scoopers than others. Just look at my pictures and you can see. In the picture where the samplers are side by side, we had a different employee help me (my scoops are on the left). I was quite disappointed when I saw how great my husband's looked compared to mine. So, observe the scoop talent while you wait in line and choose wisely if you want your money's (and belly's) worth! But still, the ice cream quality and flavor is what it's all about so 5 stars considering those factors!

They churn their own ice cream in house and it is obvious that they use awesomeness amounts of cream. The store has a cozy and chic vibe. I like the minty green color scheme. The overall feel is comfortable. Don't expect a freezer displaying their ice creams as the freezer case is behind the small counter that holds the cookies they use for sundae and shake addins. The employee was cheerful and happy to serve. This is a Mom & Pop establishment, so this is their only location.
