I'm so sad to see negative reviews! We recently purchased a groupon with IAQ for an air duct cleaning. Getting in touch with the company and scheduling an appointment was effortless. I even had to reschedule the appointment and that was just as easy! We've had bad experiences with other duct companies in the past, so when the techs arrived, I was already on the defense. I immediately lowered my guard when I saw how incredibly efficient they were! They were also very knowledgeable and explained things to me that I didn't even know about (and I do have some working knowledge of a furnace unit). We ended up getting our entire furnace unit cleaned and sanitized and I can already notice a significant difference in the air quality in our home! I can also tell that their work is going to save us hundreds on our electric bill every winter. I'm sorry that other people had a bad experience, but I would 10/10 hire this company again and probably will! read more

This company is hella shady. First they were late and didnt say they would be late until my window had passes. I purchased a service on groupon which was super misleading. For $80 they came and vacuumed my vent covers.. took pictures inside my HVAC unit and proceeded to tell me I have a mold problem through super broken english. I could barely understand him. He kept trying to upsale me on all the routine things NOT included in the package I purchased so I was already annoyed with him. He also told me the UV gadget on my unit was broken and after I told him i had my ducts cleaned 3-4 yrs ago he scoffed at me like no you need them done every 2-3. LIE! I knew none of this sounded right so I called another company. Soon as he looked at my unit he said I dont see mold ANYWHERE! And told me my unit is fairly clean and you can actually go 4-5 years. He said that mold treatment they were pushing couldve costed me hundreds of dollars! He also told me the UV gadget wasnt broken just the bulb needed replacing. i guess Mr. IAQ was too busy to check that. Ill never use this company again and warn anyone reading this to stay away from them. They WILL lie to you and make you believe youre breathing mold and wrecking your health. This business is very unprofessional. I called them yesterday to schedule an appointment; the guy said he'd call me back after 1pm when i mentioned a groupon. I never received a return call. I scheduled an appointment online and i received notice that my appointment was canceled. I processed the refund for the groupon. I do not trust this place of business. I went ahead and scheduled with another service and i'll pay them directly. My house nearly burned down and IAQ isn't taking it seriously. Don't waste your money or energy with this place. read more

They got the job done (cleaned the vents); however, they left a huge mess around my townhome (they didn't even bother to clean it up). Also, when hiring them, be sure they close your dryer vents correctly. Because they didn't close mine correctly, a bird flew in and now I have to pay an arm and a leg to have the bird removed and the vent closed properly :(. read more

Second, they came within the timeframe specified and called approximately 15 minutes before arrival. We decided on the comprehensive duct cleaning service as I cannot recall the last time my mother had the air ducts cleaned in her home. We purchased a voucher on groupon for a very basic cleaning. After a walkthrough with Chris we learned that a deeper cleaning needed to be done. We've only been in our home for a little over two years and are first time owners. The walkthrough showed that the vents and system had not been cleaned for many, many years. Chris gave us some options and educated us on how the system got this way and what we can do to maintain it moving forward. He was super knowledgeable, friendly and kind. I purchased a Groupon for services with IAQ because of the good reviews. The technician Samuel and his teammate were very friendly, professional and courteous. He called me 30min before his arrival and showed up promptly at that time. They were considerate by first taking off his shoes upon entering my home. That was very much appreciated. They begin immediately working after introducing themselves. Samuel begin with the return vent on the first floor and even took a picture to show me the amount of dust and dirt that accumulated over the years. Let's say it was ALOT! He recommended cleaning at-least once a year. He recommended cleaning the other return vent on the upper since that too since it had also accumulated a massive amount of dirt. He also took a look at my air filter and told me that I've been using the wrong size filter. He showed me where the filter I was using was too short. The only reason why I used this vendor is because they had a groupon deal. I really should have stuck with my former duct cleaner dapper ducts. I think this vendor convinces everyone who buys a voucher to pay more money to get additional cleaning done. Then they leave the place a mess. They don't put things back in place after moving it and just are simply unprofessional. read more
