If you are looking for a new Dr I highly recommend this office! Would give 5 stars but whoever the nurse was that called in my prescription was super rude and hung up on me... I was just calling to confirm she sent my medication to the pharmacy because she said she would do it immediately and when I got to the pharm they said it wasn't even called in yet. Wanted to check with her to make sure I went to the right location and basically just got a ton of sass and then she hung up on me ‍

I've been going to Dr. Brunst for over ten years and I've always found him an excellent doctor and…read morepleasant man. He's straightforward and to the point, which I appreciate. Every ailment or injury I've gone in for has been correctly diagnosed and quickly treated--after a decade, he's still batting 1000. I have had no trouble with prescriptions, either new ones or getting old ones refilled. He is also happy to make referrals if I request them. While he is a lovely person and quite jocular, however, he does not coddle his patients. If you are oversensitive or if you want a doctor who will be saccharine and hold your hand, he's probably not your man. The staff issues others have written about here are legitimate. It seems, however, some of the worst members of the front office have gone. I must admit in the past they've left an extremely bad impression, so much so that I can't in good conscience give Dr. Brunst's practice five stars. But I prefer to focus on the the professionalism and skill that he, his associate and new nurse all possess.

Plenty of parking in adjacent garages. Nice lobby with helpful clerks. Wind your way around to the infusion center, where you're set up in a rather comfy chaise chair, complete with warmed blanket. Lunch will be brought to you in a little tote: a sandwich, a piece of fruit and a drink. How nice. Nurses were capable and attentive. During the time we were there, I felt as if we were well taken care of and the visit went smoothly.

It's obvious if you have something other than normal routine care needs he is NOT a doctor for you…read more Have seen him twice for the same issue that is only getting worse. He did submit for a test "STAT" but didn't bother to submit details to the insurance company to justify it. Therefore the test was refused. I received paperwork from my insurance company stating I needed to have my Dr submit the specifics as to why he wants the test done. Did he ever do that NO! Just saw Dr. Patay again today and he just laughed it off telling me I could appeal it if I wanted. When I gave him the denial paperwork I got from the insurance company and showed him where it stated what they needed he refused to read it just asking me what it said. WOW!!!! Don't you have to know how to read to pass medical school?? As I was leaving his office he again told me I can appeal the denial but he would again submit for the test. I asked if he was going to write the specifics as to the reason for the test and told me "I'll put you have a mass and submit a photo" WOW!!! He just doesn't get it!!! He will definitely NOT be an advocate for you. Hopefully I can get my issue dealt with and will be looking for a new doctor. Would NOT recommend.

I appreciate the opportunity to commend someone who was absolutely wonderful, in all respects, as…read morehe spent a couple of hours with me, during the testing process. His name is Robert Sanchez, a nurse with the Integrative Medicine Center. Robert was so kind, understood I was very nervous, and explained everything I would experience. His compassion was really sincere, and his knowledge made everything he said completely understandable to me, a layman. By the time Robert explained each and every detail, I was feeling more settled. He had a great presence that I found very comforting and helpful, and much appreciated. Robert has excellent teaching qualities, as well as his nursing abilities. He is excellent at his job, and is a definite credit to Scripps, and an absolute blessing to me. Well done, Robert, and heartfelt thanks for helping me thru the experience! I believe we are quick to complain, but not as quick to praise, and I didn't want to pass up this chance to say how much I appreciated Robert and all of his efforts. Thank you for the opportunity to give credit to someone I felt went 'over and above' in what he did for me. Scripps is definitely the BEST, and employees such as Robert, are what makes it the best! Thanks and blessings to all of you!

For a…read moremultitude of reasons which are irrelevant here I do not believe in the primary care model therefore I'm very interested in the integrative/functional approach and was excited to see that Scripps had many providers in the IM and FM space. However, as I was quickly told without a primary care existing relationship and referral, I could not utilize their services. You realize this is completely counterintuitive to the entire reason why a patient would seek out integrative care, especially as in my case where I do not believe in or subscribe to a primary care model. I'm not interested in replacing a PCP model with integrative care. I'm interested specifically in integrative services as they relate to HRT and related women's health in this case. Not for primary care. However, to force me to go to seek a primary care physician just to get a referral is counterintuitive and defeats the whole purpose for someone seeking integrative care.
