This company appears to rely on AI-driven spam outreach and does little to no verification before contacting people. I receive 20-25 emails a day from firms asking me to sell companies I do not own. I decided to respond to Flavia Milano from IAG M&A Advisors just to see how legitimate the outreach actually was. Within seconds of getting on the call, it was obvious she knew absolutely nothing about me, my background, or the company she was supposedly calling about. It was straight into a generic sales pitch about how they could help sell "my company." When I stopped her and pointed out that neither she nor IAG seemed to have done even the most basic due diligence before contacting someone, she blamed the "marketing team" for generating the lead and sending the email -- despite the email coming directly from her name and signature. That's a major red flag for anyone considering doing business with them. If a firm can't take five seconds to verify who they're contacting before pitching professional advisory services, it doesn't inspire much confidence in the quality of the rest of their process. Now, Flavia Milano is listed as working for this company on LinkedIn, but she is also listed on Exitvera Capital's website, so I don't know if there is a connection. One of her emails stated "Please let me know what works best or feel free to use this link to find the best time that fits your schedule: Book With Us - IAG https://calendly.com/iagteam/intro" so they must be linked Hopefully this feedback makes its way back to whoever is running these mass-email campaigns so the rest of us can receive a little less daily spam, and maybe Flavia could use it as a learning moment to do a bare minimum of research on someone before having a call with them. This business is the worst of the worst....harassing people with incessant robo calls, usually with no one on the line. Times the system actually worked and a had a person on, as soon as you asked to be removed, they hang up on you and the calls continue daily, everyday, multiple times a day for months, to each of our 2 business phone numbers. I have emailed the CEO that has commented on these reviews...we'll see if he is worth his weight in salt or if harassment charges need to be pursued. They make their money up front by overcharging for a ''business evaluation'' $6000..I told them my cpa can do it for $225 but they would not hear of it. They bait you claiming they can get you 5 times what the business is worth but they had to use THEIR evaluation. I offered to give them double ($12000) for their evaluation AFTER they sold my company, they would not hear of it..I told them I would not hold them to the 5 times sale price..I would be happy getting what all the other real business brokers figured my company may sell for. THEY WOULD NOT HEAR OF IT..Bottom line these people make sure money up front and have no real incentive to sell your company...All real brokers make about 10% after its sold and the money changed hands....this is my opinion... read more

Wish i could give negative stars. They call everyday sometimes multiple times a day. They are abrupt and rude on the phone. Have told them several times were not selling but they don't give up. I had a professional evaluation done by a reputable service so I knew all the cost and values. Received a call from Jean of IAG. She asked to speak with our owner. I am the Treasurer, Office Manager and THE REGISTERED AGENT on file. She refused to speak with me and hung up after I took her information. I advised her that the owner would not be calling her back unless he knew what the call was in regards to as he is also a licensed plumber that works from 7am to 7pm IN THE FIELD. I handle all calls like this. Jean was extremely unprofessional. I had to look up their phone number to find out what the call was even about. Do not need unprofessional and UNEDUCATED people calling us and tying up our phone lines. We are a service industry company and people with plumbing issues that need to be addressed are our priority. Everything just finalized with the selling of my business through IAG so here's my two cents: I just sold my fabrication company in Abbotsford BC. For the most part everything went as smoothly as I could've expected. If I had a frustration it was the my company's valuation took a little over 8 weeks to get completed - although part of that had to do with the valuating company waiting on my year ends. The first thing I noticed is the higher quality of IAG buyers compared to the broker I was listed with previously. I had never sold a business before & honestly had no idea what to expect but my transaction specialist Charles was awesome & made the process as pain free as possible. IAG sent one of its agents out to us after a few preliminary phone calls. During the meeting, Mr. Barnette explained the process of selling our business as well as provided us with a basic business analysis. After signing up, we received a detailed business valuation that helped us in our conversations with buyers, as well as constant updates from their customer service team. While it took almost a year to sell our business through IAG, it was worth it. We saw more buyers than while working alone, and we were assured of their quality beforehand. Their marketing efforts appear to be limited to posting an erroneous listing on one or more of the business-for-sale websites. After I paid them, they became non-responsive. My partners and I were pleased to find that the client service department kept us up-to-date on all buyer inquiries, and we ended up closing a deal in little over a year. My on-line listings have apparently expired, without notice, as they are no longer there. No potential buyers were ever identified.
