I contacted this company just for a quote. All I wanted was a quote to install my aftermarket amplifier and connect my sub box (already have in installed). Connect all the wires, etc. I have everything required for the installation. I was given a quote of $259 flat rate. I then asked if they have ever installed a APSUB-CH42 which is an interface that connects to the pre-existing cables in the back of the radio head unit. Once I told him it was to be installed on a 2023 Dodge Ram 1500, the price jumped from $259 up to $450!!!! I don't see how the price can jump up $200 just because of the make and model. So I called him and he said he didn't know the make and model of my vehicle first and what was entailed. Like I mentioned earlier, I had listed all the equipment and that I had everything needed for the install. I was very disappointed. read more

From start to finish David was professional, showed up on time (he installed in my driveway), did a thorough job installing my dashcam. He took the time to wrap all wiring with cloth tape to not only protect the wiring but will not allow it to bounce around behind the interior panels. I wanted to to replace my rearview mirror dash camera to a more updated version. I had my previous dash cam installed where the cords were hidden and hooked up to the battery so it wouldn't take up my plug in. I received a full 4 glass Ceramic (Heat Barrier) Tint to the cab in addition to a sun visor on my truck and the tint-installation was expertly done by the team at iTech. The difference is immediately noticed in temperature, shade and privacy. 2. a double-din Pioneer head unit that includes Android Auto was installed, (The phone-stereo operation is very nice) 3. along with Front 6×9" with tweeter, 4. Rear 6.5" component spkr with tweeter and 5. 2 Alpine amps bridged to power sub 10" JL w6 subwoofer in sealed box, the amps are hidden by iTech and are not seen unless you lift up the seat to access the under-seat storage compartment. 6. Connected to the head unit is a new tailgate handle camera which is a huge upgrade to the oem quality cam. This camera was custom wired by Kevin to be operated by switch that was purchased and installed for stand-alone operation of rear camera at all times. 7.New LED Fog Light Installation operated by switch panel custom installed by Kevin and Pablo. 8. 2 switch panel enables operation at anytime that I choose. 9. I bought a 2025 Ford Maverick and decided I needed a dashcam installed. I went through all of the reviews Yelp listed in San Diego County. After my research, I chose I-Tech Auto Customizing. I wanted quality over "a cheap quote". I deferred to Kevin's recommendation and had him install a FineVu GX400. The installation was under 2 hours as quoted, with no upcharge surprises. When it came to linking the dashcam app to my Ford info system and my phone, the unit was so new there was no model listed in the FineVu app. Kevin immediately got on his phone and had his sales rep find out what could be done. Kevin apologized and said he would call me as soon as they found a solution. To my surprise, within a week, he called me to let me know that FineVu added the new GX400 to the app. He had his son meet me at his shop and had the system fully paired and working in less than 30 minutes. These guys are crooks. I had a problem with my touch screen center console and the dealership was going to charge an arm and a leg just to replace it with the OEM parts so I brought it here and Kevin said he can fix it and it would look nice with the kit he offered. He recommended all these expensive gadgets, and i agreed only because he said he could fix the problem. He also said I should buy an amp for the speakers so it can sound better. I didn't want to fork up anymore money, but he kept insiting, so i did. They had my car for a full week, and when I got it back, it was worse! My center screen still isn't working, and on top of that, they damaged the corners of my center dash. I told him the issue wasn't fixed, and he tried to tell me I don't need all the options in my center console to work. Who the fuck says that to their customers!? Some of the speakes arent producing any sound now and he said the amp would make it better! So, all in all, I'm still having the same issue with my touchscreen and now damages to my center dash! I paid over $2000 for absolutely nothing! and as I was walking out pissed off, he had the audacity to say, "Come back if you want more custom work done" because he had another custome waiting and say how unhappy i was with my car! DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. read more

There are only a few places in San Diego worth trusting your car to and I-Tech is one of them. I needed a USB port moved so I wouldn't have wires cluttering up the front dashboard. It was tricky work because the dash and glovebox needed disassembly to accomplish the feat. The car is only a year old so I was worried about marring a still pristine-looking interior. However - Kevin not only did a great job, but he did it at a price that made it worth doing. Now I can enjoy a clean dashboard while having special USB devices hidden out of site.
