I will be back to have teh remaining items on the menu! But the cuban was absolutely amazing. Generous portions of flavorful pork and layered goodness of mustard and pickles. Sometimes people skimp but they didnt - but as always the bread is the difference maker. Perfect crust with a soft inside. Melts in your mouth. Again sometimes you basically get enough meat to cover the bread and so you just disguard the bread because it is just not good but at Fritu it sealed the deal and made way for the top 3 sandwiches ive ever had and the #1 Cuban. Adding to the xperience were the folks that i met - I could tell they loved the food they served and they make it with love. Played amazing music and kind and thoughtful I felt they added a personal touch tyo everyone they serve. I will be back over and over again. Tostones were what drew me in and that is all i ordered at first and i continued to read the menu and talk to them and ended up ordering the cuban, and so glad i did that and met this amazing people at this place.,

If you want solid Mexican food but want to avoid the massive chains or pricey fine-dining spots, Mil Amores is a fantastic local business to support. Here is the breakdown of what to expect: The Best Items: My absolute favorite is the fish tacos--easily one of the best things on the menu. The barbacoa tacos are also great, and I highly recommend their caldo (delicious with the tortillas) and fresh agua frescas. The Average Items: The rest of the taco lineup is just okay, not the absolute best I've ever had, but definitely not the worst. The Changes: They used to serve complimentary chips and salsa, but it seems like they stopped doing that. Also, the salsa that comes with the tacos or burritos is now pretty watered down and lacks flavor. Finally, they used to make their tortillas fresh by hand, but lately, they seem like basic corn tortillas. Service: Very straightforward. You order at the counter, they bring the food to your table, and you pay at the register when you're done. Because it's a great local spot, it gets packed at midday with local workers. I highly recommend trying to time your visit right before or just after the main lunch rush to beat the crowds. Overall, it's a solid, casual local spot that I'll keep coming back to!

I have to admit at first I was disappointed to see they didn't offer tacos with Flour tortillas. Normally, I'm not a huge fan of corn tortillas thus I ordered a Chicken burrito and pork taco....turned out to be a huge mistake. The Tacos are the the best I've had in years. Super flavorful and the corn tortilla not sure how to describe it but I'm thinking they're deep fried. Bottom line absolutely delicious. My sister loved her beef tacos. The chicken burrito was good, not sure the tortilla is homemade but nonetheless was good. Those Taco's though are a must try. Side note they are on the smaller side so order a couple extra. Trust me this little Gem is a major home run! The homage salsa's are served Reg, medium and HOT. The medium green sauce was my favorite. Tasty and fresh. The HOT is well HOT. Hotter than hot.
