We ordered chowmein, lamb chops and goat briyani. The chowmein was ok with very less veggies and with frozen corn that was not a good idea! The lamb chops was dry and rubbery couldn't even cut through. And the goat briyani was filled with food color and stale tasting. Inspite of mentioning to the staff, she wasn't bothered to ask for a replacement but took off the price for the lamb chops and charged for the other two. It's a cozy restaurant with a bunch of tables and chair, a bit congested space I'd say! But the pictures looked very pleasing. Parking is available in the plaza!

Overall, it's a mixed bag...some items are really solid, others miss the mark. This time I ordered everything to-go. The chicken sekuwa was excellent, well-marinated, flavorful, and packed nicely. No complaints there at all. I also got three chicken momo (two with regular achar and one jhol). The momos themselves were good, nothing extraordinary, but definitely satisfying. Unfortunately, the jhol achar completely ruined the experience. Before tasting it, I poured it over the momo, and that was a mistake. It smelled off right away and tasted even worse, like it had been sitting too long or improperly stored. I genuinely felt sick and couldn't finish my food. I did call and spoke to the manager, who apologized and offered a replacement, which I appreciated. But it was late, and I wasn't about to drive back, so I just let them know about the issue. It was really disappointing, especially when you're counting on a good meal late at night. They seriously need to be more careful about the quality and freshness of their achar in takeout orders, it can make or break the entire meal.

The chicken tikka masala was creamy and flavorful and paired well either the warm buttery naan. The spice level wasn't as hot as I thought, so I'll get hot level next time. The prices are comparable with local Indian restaurants. Since Palate is located in a shopping center, parking can be limited, however there are plenty of places to park. We enjoyed our food and time here and look forward to returning.

I also tried the jhol momo, but again, the momo wasn't juicy or flavorful, and the achar was just mid. Dining in didn't change much from my takeout experiences. Service was great and the restaurant itself is nice but the momos aren't it. I'll probably try other dishes next time instead.
