After my first visit, I completely understand why. When I walked in, I was immediately welcomed and kindly guided through parts of the menu I wasn't familiar with. Mediterranean food usually isn't my go-to, so I appreciated how patient and helpful they were without making me feel out of place. I ordered the beef shawarma plate with tzatziki and hot sauce on the side, then sat at the barstools near the food prep area while I waited. Watching the owner prepare the food was honestly part of the experience. At one point, he came over and insisted I try their tea. I initially declined, but he smiled and said he'd only pour me half a cup. That small act of kindness and hospitality genuinely sold me on this place. The restaurant was clean, quiet, welcoming, and smelled incredible. And yes, absolutely try the tea. It was a custom Earl Grey blend made specifically for them, and it was fantastic. When I got home, I was surprised by how generous the portions were for the price. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully balanced. The spices were used perfectly, the produce tasted fresh, and the food even held its temperature well by the time I got home. I've only been here once so far, but I already plan on becoming a regular, probably at least once a week. Y'all are doing an amazing job, and I'm really glad I found this place.

It was slightly louder than normal on a Friday night but that's just because of the tables that were louder than normal. They had a piano player that was really nice. It might have to do with my hearing not being the best at older age too! We started with the combination appetizer plate of Babaganoosh, Tzatziki, Hummus. It come with a big basket of fresh pita bread. Oh my loved every bite. The bread was warm and the dips were so tasty. I had the pita plate with the best meat I can remember. My wife loved her mixed grilled/combo plate with soulvlaki chicken, soulvlaki beef, kefta kebab. She was kind enough to let me taste some of it and it was delicious! Can't wait to have another date night soon and go back!

Do yourself a favor and come hungry. you'll thank me later.

Saw a highway sign for 'Gyro & Grill' and instantly had a craving for it. Had to drive another 2-miles for the u-turn to get back. The drive up to this new commerce mall was nice, e erything looked new. The new giant Kroger not open yet. Was immediately greeted by the manager, Biko was his name. Immediately the Peter Gabriel song comes to mind, and now it's ear worming me. LOL Menu was bright and easy to read, just gotta figure out the naming system, as this is more middle eastern branded than Greek. I went with Pita & Hummus for "appetizer". It was really good, the Pita was fresh as was the Red Pepper Hummus. I also ordered a side of Falafel with Tzatziki sauce. OMG! These were really yummy!! One of rhe best I've had. For my main dish, I ordered the Gyro Pita Sandwich with 'Greek Fries', which means they're heavily sauced with sauce of choice, mine being a heavy garlic sauce. Also ordered an extra side of their 'beef kofta' to give it a try. The entire meal was delicious!! Everything cooked to perfection and assembled to an eye please treat. Will definitely return and encourage others to go out of their way to try this new restaurant in the Argyle/North Lake area. About 3/4 a mile east off IH-35W at Exit 76. Place is spotless clean, quiet atmosphere, and the staff was so friendly and helpful ... thank you Biko, his daughter Sara, and Dillon. I will return when in the area!

We were greeted and seated right away. Service throughout was warm and attentive, our server checked on us a few times to make sure everything was good. They started us with warm, crispy bread and a yogurt-based dip that was quite flavorful. I ordered the lamb shish kebab platter (well done), and we also tried the chicken shish kebab platter. Both came with buttery rice, a fresh salad drizzled with olive oil, and yogurt sauce. The chicken was tender and properly seasoned, but the lamb was the highlight. Lamb can easily turn dry or overly gamey if not handled right, but this was juicy, tender, and packed with flavor even when cooked well done, exactly how a good shish kebab should be. I skipped dessert this time, though they offer a few options, and I noticed what appeared to be a buffet setup, which I'm curious to try next. Overall, a solid, well executed Mediterranean meal. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

The interior has a nice,…read morecasual feel, and the photos of the owner in Greece add a bit of personality and charm to the space. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the setting. The biggest issue was that everything was very salty -- to the point where it was hard to finish the meal. I had the street gyro (lamb and beef), and while the texture was fine, the seasoning overwhelmed the dish. My child ordered the "Sneaky Taziki," which ended up being a dried-out chicken breast with cheese in a tortilla, and he barely touched it. Overall, this feels like a place designed for a more generic take on Greek/Mediterranean food rather than something truly authentic or memorable. There's nothing outright bad about it, but nothing really stands out either. It's fine, just not somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit again. 3 Stars, right down the middle.

The falafel was ok, I would not order it again. The presentation was nice, but lacked flavor and zest. The only thing with flavor was the harissa chicken. It did have a nice decor and Mediterranean vibes. Bread was basic, and regular fountain drink choices. They advertised peach tea, but not available. It's a larger size location and good for groups. We had a large group and split up between tables. Staff did clear the tables quickly and food was prepared quick. If you need a fast lunch with salad, it might do the trick.
