    Chicken momo (3) Chicken sekuwa

I go to this Nepali spot on and off since it's close to where I live, usually for late night takeout, sometimes dine ins. Overall, it's a mixed bag...some items are really solid, others miss the mark. This time I ordered everything to-go. The chicken sekuwa was excellent, well-marinated, flavorful, and packed nicely. No complaints there at all. I also got three chicken momo (two with regular achar and one jhol). The momos themselves were good, nothing extraordinary, but definitely satisfying. Unfortunately, the jhol achar completely ruined the experience. Before tasting it, I poured it over the momo, and that was a mistake. It smelled off right away and tasted even worse, like it had been sitting too long or improperly stored. I genuinely felt sick and couldn't finish my food. I did call and spoke to the manager, who apologized and offered a replacement, which I appreciated. But it was late, and I wasn't about to drive back, so I just let them know about the issue. It was really disappointing, especially when you're counting on a good meal late at night. They seriously need to be more careful about the quality and freshness of their achar in takeout orders, it can make or break the entire meal.

My daughter and I were craving Indian food and decided to pop in to Kabab N Kitty, it was around 2pm, and we opted to sit on the deck outside, it was such a beautiful day, the server that treated us, and sat us was very sweet, I wish that either the menu shared that the tea is bottled, an there are no free refills, or the server had, but let me start with the food, my daughter got Chow Mein, and the portion was very generous, she asked for hers to have no heat, but it did, on a 1-10 scale it was about a 3, not impossible to eat, but she's got health issues that prevent her from eating spicy food.... IKIK, we were in an Indian restaurant, but in our defense when we ask for no spice in other Indian restaurants that's how it comes. I ordered the chicken biriyani and it was delicious, I accidentally forgot my left overs at my daughter's house and I'm really sad lol. Line too was spicy, about the same heat level as my daughters, and the tablespoon worth of sauce wasn't in proportion to the amount of the entree, but here is the thing, the service was so unreliable. Let me add, there was only one table inside, we were the first to sit outside, then another larger table of maybe 6/7 people were out there with us. She took care of them nicely, before she took their order we asked for boxes, she proceeded to take their order, and deliver their food before us asking a third time for boxes, I had intended on asking for more tzatziki sauce but she never came back to check on us, anyway, I couldn't help but feel avoided, and unimportant, so going forward I'd be hesitant to bring someone to dine in, I dine out a lot, and meet clients over lunch or dinner frequently, plus my hubs and I enjoy going out to eat often, I will probably just order take out, because my food was delicious, despite the heat, it would have been nice to have been offered water, especially knowing they're robbing people on drinks, it's usual and customary to have free refills for water, tea and soda, and the cost reflects that, but bottled tea isn't very good to begin with, and we both ordered unsweetened, so imagine how disappointed we were lol. Little things add up, the food was a good value, so I will continue to order there, but it probably wont be dine in.

I am a Sushi novice to say the least, but my grandson and daughter wanted to introduce me to his new favorite restaurant, he's 15 so I had to see what he was raving about! The only reason I gave 4 stars is, cuz I am not educated on all things sushi and the extensive menu didn't really break down what each category really meant, the place was packed so clearly it's a newbie issue. I mentioned to our server Cameron, who was so polite and professional by the way, that it might be fun to host a monthly Sushi 101, where people could make reservations and for a flat rate the attendees could learn the difference between sashimi, sushi and all the other preparations for the cuisine. People could taste and sample each type and learn a little bit, giving them confidence to put Hush in their local food rotation. I really enjoyed my experience, and will do some research on the different options so I can try some new foods, I have no doubt I can ask my server, but that would have made me uncomfortable making the rest of my party wait while I learn, this was a spur of the moment invite so I didn't have time to do research, totally my problem. I will be going back once I learn more! I enjoyed my food, the Tempura Shrimp roll, we also really liked the smoked salmon roll, the crab rangoon, and shrimp fried rice, all was delicious! Very nice place for a date night, if you like sushi you won't be disappointed!

We had a reservation, which I'd definitely recommend because it gets busy especially on a Friday and parking is limited. Once we were seated, the server gave us a nice rundown of the menu. We started with the hand rolls, the Masu Tartare and Toro Tartare and both were delicious. I personally loved the Masu more, but you really can't go wrong with either. We also ordered calamari, which arrived a bit later. It was okay, nothing spectacular, not as crispy as I hoped but the rest of the meal more than made up for it. For sushi, I had the Spicy Atlantic Salmon and the Kani Koi. I absolutely loved the Spicy Atlantic Salmon...it was definitely a favorite but my fiancé preferred the Kanikoi, so everyone wins. We also tried the Kamasu - Barracuda, which was just as delicious. Overall, everything was perfect, and I can't wait to come back to try more hand rolls and a few other dishes.

Potentially freezer burnt or handled wrong in the prep process. Overall- I would try again.
