I really like the meaty food here. They have great roast beef. They also have good service and good people work.

OG Smash Burger is seriously a hidden gem. It's down the street from my house, which honestly might…read morebe dangerous because I keep finding excuses to come back. The burgers are smashed perfectly -- crispy edges, juicy center, and packed with flavor. You can tell they don't rush the process and actually care about how the food comes out. The buns are soft but sturdy, the toppings are fresh, and everything is well-balanced without being greasy or overwhelming. The fries are hot, seasoned right, and pair perfectly with the burger. Portions are solid for the price, and you definitely leave full. Service is friendly and laid-back, and the vibe feels local and welcoming, not corporate or fake. It's the kind of spot you hit once and then immediately start recommending to people. If you're anywhere nearby and craving a legit smash burger, OG Smash Burger is 100% worth it -- especially if you're lucky enough to live close like I do.

I really wanted the OG Smash Burger to live up to the standard of Original Tommy's, but…read moreunfortunately, it doesn't quite compare. While the chili is tasty and the service is excellent--the cashier was genuinely dedicated to guest satisfaction, and the food comes out hot and made-to-order in 5-10 minutes--it lacks the signature experience of the real OG Original Tommy's. Not huge at all and for the price, therefore not a good value. I spent $24 for the Chilicheese bruger combo with $1 upcharge for a bottled drink. The burger itself was decent, but they are way too tight with the chili portions compared to Tommy's, and the shoestring fries don't hold the chili nearly as well as the thicker-cut fries. I also found the specific combination of pickles, onions, and mustard on a Tommy's burger to be superior. The setting is purely a walk-up window with four outdoor benches, so it lacks the atmosphere of a traditional dine-in experience. Street parking during around 2pm on weekday was no problem. Got a spot right in front of the joint. If you do stop by, definitely give the chili a moment to cool--it comes out steaming hot! It's a solid, quick meal, but it hasn't dethroned the real OG, Original Tommy's, for me.

I don't know what I was expecting but it is amazing that they can serve up such food in a small place. I've seen videos and these guys get a lot of credit for working in a such a small place. The day I went my wife said "99 cent tacos on Tuesday". I said, too bad it's not Tuesday. She is IT IS! HAHA ok, well, now I know what I want. I went to the window and asked if it was true, 99 cent tacos, she said yes! Well $3 later, I had my two tacos. Was it any good? Well, yeah! It was! Look, it wasn't the best tacos in the world or the best I have tried but it was really good and if I had the time, I'd get a beer and sit down and eat these good tacos and then they might be some of the best! Unfortunately I had to do other things so I just enjoyed these two tacos and I got the spicy versions and let me tell you, the kick from the spice was awesome!!!! I love the little Great White Hut!

The good: Although small, the way this burger is constructed makes sense. Good, fresh ingredients with a nice crunch and somewhat decent hamburger patty. The price is right. $6 for a single. A square deal in today's insane landscape. The bad: the bun sucks. Like most burgers out there, the bun lacks in freshness and ingredients. Bake your own buns. Also, the sauce can be annoying. Yet, the pickles are thick and good. I would come again if in the area.

We came here with only one thing in mind, and that's the Chicken & Waffles with a side of season fries, coleslaw, mac&cheese, and wanted to see if this part of town knows how to serve it. Our plates came out hot, and the fluffy, and dense waffles paired with perfectly cooked fried chicken blew my expectations. The fired chicken itself was crispy and juicy, and goes really well with the coleslaw if that's your vibe, n then you add the mac&cheese with season crispy fries to complete the cravings. This location is very much like any other Shake Shack offering expensive food with good quality. My double shack burger ($10.99) was excellent- the bun was soft and buttered perfectly, the paddies excellent merged well with the cheese, and vegetables fresh. Service was fast but I was a little annoyed to be prompted for a tip from a fast food restaurant. I brought my little one and was quite occupied by his rambunctiousness so when I asked an employee walking by if I could have a high chair I was a little annoyed that they pointed me to the back of the restaurant instead of getting me one. There was only one other occupied table in the restaurant. It's small, but if you ask for a tip and sell yourself as being upscale little things like this make all the difference - and are the reason I couldn't put today's visit in 5-star territory. Despite the quality I've always found Shake Shack to be a little overpriced. An equally if not slightly better burger can be found at a much better price across the street at In and Out. Nonetheless if you are looking for something simple, good, yet a little uninspired, you can't go wrong with the Americana Shake Shack. Food: 5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 3.5/5 Value: 3.5/5

WHEN: Tue @7pm…read more Located in a small plaza, while there is free parking, it's also quite limited with it being share with other business establishments. However, since we came at night time where most of them were closed, we got parking right in front. This spot is more of a take-away place, with 6 counter seatings indoors, and maybe 3 chairs right out front. This tiny burger spot seems to be run by just one person, so it helps that you can self-order at their kiosk. He was very attentive juggling between cooking the made-to order items, and check in on the costumers in case they had questions. After placing my order at their one device, it was roughly a 15 minutes wait. Here's what we ordered: CHEESEBURGER - $9.90 High-quality beef patty smashed with grilled onions, serviced on a toasted Martin's potato bun and topped with pickles and their fry sauce. I really enjoyed this rich tasting burger. I think that fry sauce was a huge factor...but also that soft bun...and that flavorful beef patty. I really enjoyed this. FRIES - $5.25 Golden Thing-Cut Fries. Perfect. I mean this was made to order so they were warm, crispy and so dang good! It's how fries everywhere should be! I was hoping to come back during my trip in LA, but it's okay, it won't be the last time I visit.

The crispy lace edges, the juicy center, the grilled onion, the slightly spicy sauce, the slightly sweet bun...all dreamworthy! Their sweet potato fries aren't all that great to look at, but omg, always perfectly cooked and salted! Perfectly complimented with the fry sauce. All that said, we were disappointed when we received our last order: 1. Packaging change (paper wrapped instead of cardboard box for the burgers) robbed the craveable edges of their crispness. Plus there was so much grease on the paper wraps it actually made it messier to eat than before. 2. The sauce has changed. The spice level increased (still not too spicy), but a side of sauce (which you pay more than a $1 for) is now sent in a premade branded packet. I have zero issues paying extra for a good sauce made fresh in-house, but instead of tasting like a fresh sauce made with mayo and spices, it now tastes of oil and spices and is not nearly as tasty. We noticed the difference on the burgers as well, so it seems like their sauce is all premade now and not nearly as good.

It's such a great option and always tastes amazing. There's almost always a long line, but the service is impressively fast and efficient every time. The place is very clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and I really like the bright red-and-white interior -- it has that classic, iconic vibe. Even the restrooms are clean despite how busy it gets, which says a lot. The only downside during this visit was that the air conditioning didn't seem to be working well, so it felt a bit stuffy inside. Also, I think adding some music could really improve the overall atmosphere. Overall, I still love coming here and will definitely be back!

They have a unique flavor that is hard to describe. The pickles are so good and the burger and cheese go so well together. This is one of if not my absolute favorite cheeseburger anywhere. No animal sauce for me. My chocolate shake was pretty good. This is not the beat shake in the world but it goes well with the burger. It is not overly sweet. Oh yeah, the cashier made sure she got my order correct twice which I appreciated. But, oh no...the fries!! Terrible. I remember not liking them in the past. They have no flavor. But this time was worse. The consistency tasted like.they were stale. Like they have been sitting around for days. This is not true since this restaurant is CONSTANTLY busy. There is no time to have fries lay around. Still, I asked for a new order. I figured we got unlucky. Nope. Next order was hot and still tasted stale. No thank you Their menu is very limited. They have like 6 items on the menu and I believe they have kept it the same since they opened in 1948. I still love In n Out but just can't understand why a restaurant has such good burgers and just terrible fries. I have tried them with animal sauce in the past and that did not help. They should really be good on their own. On a final note, I am impressed how they have kept their prices low. Just about anyone can afford to buy a cheeseburger here. They have not increased their prices dramatically, or possibly not at all, like every single one of their competitors. Interesting tidbit..
