I am having the same problem as most. I am not able to continue with the $89.95 teen driving course because I am meant to receive an email and then the course will unlock. No email and good luck getting someone to help. Like most have posted try another company that is responsive, takes ownership, and resolves issues. Well, I liked it. It was specific to my state and very thorough. It took about 6-7 hours, but you can save and come back at any point. I did NOT use the voice recognition and I recommend you don't either because several people seem to have had trouble with this. After taking the course (I can't believe I passed due to the questions had nothing to do with material covered), they charge you $5 a month and you have NO WAY to cancel these charges. This is not fun, so what they do is send you a random email designed to go to spam about providing you with ALL State roadside assistance for $5 a month (automatically without warning you - shame on you All State Insurance real insurance company for be part of this fraud/scam). I lost all respect for All State Insurance for doing business with these scammers. In the email you are sent to a website where you are asked to enter your email address to cancel (manage) this BS Roadside assistance, but you can't. You can never cancel it. Cause you never get an email to cancel it. Why would they - it's not about selling traffic school or following the law of doing business it's about getting your $5 a month. (it all adds up.. you get $5 from me and $5 from someone else). They don't charge the $5 immediately cause they give you a month or two free (remember this is in a separate email so it's designed to get you later). So this company isn't trying to sell traffic school but scamming you out of $5 a month for this roadside assistance. It's fraud and scam which. My son has purchased this for his CO drivers permit requirement, but once he passed all the modules and the final exam he was routed back to module 1 and it states that he only has completed 98.11% of the course. Once he completed the final exam it stated "Congratulations, you passed!" but the certificate was not shown for him to print. He completed the 30 hours that were required in the 8+ module and can not go to the DMV to receive his permit without the certificate. I have contacted your company via email and have not received a response and I have called your company twice and have been on hold without ever speaking with a customer service representative. Our son paid for this class with his own money and that is what is most frustrating. He completed everything that was required and now he needs for your company to do the right thing and issue his completion certificate. The system said I did not answer ANY questions correctly, which again is NOT TRUE. I watched every video and know I answered the majority of them correctly. The super slow timer for each question is terrible but worse yet, somewhere in the process they defaulted me into buying recurring $5 a month roadside assistance. I wasn't aware that I signed up for it and never wanted or used it. I wouldn't even now how to if I wanted to. My wife told me that I've been paying them for months for a service that I NEVER wanted and didn't know I had. When I took on the project of cancelling, I first called their customer service at 10am pacific time and it went to voicemail. Clearly they are counting on people to not get around to cancelling or putting it off when it isn't easy to find how to cancel. I am sure they can point to the place where some screen I clicked through had an option to opt out, but it's clearly their business plan to sell people indefinitely a service that they don't consciously choose. on line chat person directed me to the wrong course, after taking the course and the certificate not being accepted by the company I needed to submit it to I contacted I drive safely to remedy. Not only did they NOT take any responsibility or agree to a refund , they also did not offer to let me take the correct course at no charge to make it up which I would have been happy to do and still need to do, with someone else at this point. I am disputing the charges but these guys do not have any customer service and this was 100% on them. I gave them the precise details of the course I needed in the on line chat and was walked in real time to the course I was told to select and it was not correct. That's not my fault... FOLLOW UP TO I DRIVES COMMENT Lets be clear - initially I started a program that was asking for court and ticket information, my initial reach out to you via on line chat was about this and this was not working for me as I needed this for a company not a court, I was refunded for that and directed directly to the course my review is about. That is my problem. I then took the court your on line chat person who refunded the bad start and pointed me to in real time. THAT was still not a correct course but it was not clear until I tried to submit that to the company. I then went back to your outfit and explained , HEY you directed me to the wrong course, and knowing I needed a 4 hour DD course and still not pointing me to the correct one is baffling. That was met with NO REFUNDS TO BAD... there was no offer to retake the correct course, no offer of a refund no apologies for your mistake... that is why your getting one star and this and other reviews and the charge is being disputed. It may be your job to try and counter the negative reviews but you would be better served by actually helping the person with the legitimate issue caused by you instead of doing damage control online that is not really truthful by omitting what happened next, which I just have.. If you take this online course, pay for the certificate delivery so that you can print it on your own printer after completion. There is an extra fee for that but worth it, especially if you are a procrastinator. The vehicles and fashion styles in the videos are about 20 years old. The humor and the graphics are painful. Painful enough that it will make you drive more carefully SO you don't have to take the course again! The upside is that you can view one section at a time and make the 6 hours more bearable. Oh, the course is also finicky about what browser can be used. I wanted to do this on my laptop or tablet, but no - I had to use my desktop but only after calling customer support and arguing with some fellow from Asia. This online course is HORRIBLE. Supposedly it is 6 hours. 5 hours of content with an 1 break. I am on hour 7 and I have 2 of 8 segments left and I have only taken off 30 mins to shower. Every page is about 1.5 mins and it takes about 20 seconds to get to the next page. Do the math. This is taking FOREVER. And let's talk about how boring it is. I have done defensive driving before. It's a great course. A long one and takes quite a bit of time...maybe 6-7 hrs and it covers a lot of information. I did learn a lot and it certainly was a good review. There were times when I wanted to "throw in the towel" but I kept with it. Just watch out for some hidden fees. If you want your certificate mailed to you through U.S. mail you need to remove a check mark (default). If you fail to do so, you are charged another $12. read more

Defensive Driving sucks, but I Drive Safely can be done online, in like 6 hours, and while you're doing other stuff. The things that stood out to me about this service compared to the other one I tried: + The Price - they only make you pay what is legally required. It's fairly cheap (before shipping) + The Shipping - this shit is expensive.. like $20 bucks to get it, since it was certified. + The Course - it's freaking boring, 6 hours, and shitty quality, BUT that's what is legally required. Like I said, Defensive Driving SUCKS. 5 stars, because out of the other options, this one reigns supreme. Here's the quick and dirty: The customer support is terrible, and the course is just okay. If you run into a problem with the course, you will have a hard time getting someone to help you. Call your insurance provider for a list of websites they accept and look into those first. When it comes to all-online services, having customer support immediately available is huge. 'I Drive Safely' lacks this. When getting my account set up, I didn't receive my confirmation email for quite some time. You need to get a code from this email before you can start the course, so this was a pretty big deal. I figured I'd try calling customer support for some help with this. I would find that their customer support number is not easy to find on the site. (I had to Google search to find it.) Once I did manage to get it, I was put on hold for fifteen minutes with no indication of how long it'd be until I was helped or how many people were ahead of me in line. They also played the same abysmal techno song on repeat the entire time. I eventually got the email and was able to continue, but this chore really soured the whole experience for me. The course itself is fine, and you'll get through it without too many difficulties. Most of the questions are ridiculously easy, and you can get by just skimming the material. (Make sure you don't click the wrong buttons on the phone security checks, though.) It's nothing special. And that's the problem. The customer support and email system are so bad that the program itself would need to be really great to make it worth using. The last thing you'd want when investing an entire day into this boring nonsense is to have a problem with the system and have absolutely no one around to help you. Your insurance provider should have a list of websites they recognize for granting you the defensive driver discount. Get that list and investigate those websites before going here. read more

Also their website is set up very scammy, charging your credit card by clicking a button that reads "continue" rather than "complete order". No refunds! I am going crazy. Second time I take a defense driving course and man I wish I remembered where I took it the first time since it was a easy and fast program. Right now I am still taking this course. I have been at it for 9 hours today and probably a few hours yesterday, so maybe about 12 or more hours and I still have a whole unit and 1/2 left. I do know I have had a few distractions to slow me down but this is taking way longer then it should anyway. I picked it since it said it was one of the shortest courses online but dang I should gone with one of the companies that actually quoted 6 hours for their course, oh wait it did, well that is so not true here. Two weeks later when I still had not received it I sent an email that went unanswered. I then called and got nowhere. If I wanted another certificate I would have to pay extra to have it sent by email. I have taken other mature driver courses that were more informative and comprehensive. The way the test is set up each page is timed, which is fine, except some pages with five or six pages of text have a 2 minute wait time. I was taken in by the lower price. Terrible customer service-I called the phone line to get a refund (the course is TOTALLY overpriced, by the way) and I didn't hear back for THREE BUSINESS DAYS, and I firmly believe that they never would have called me back had I not reported them to my bank for potential fraud. If you entered your credit/debit card information anywhere on the site, I strongly recommend you check your bank account balance ASAP because chances are, they have already taken money out of your account even if you haven't actually used any of their products or services. If this is unfortunately the case, I would contact your bank IMMEDIATELY and tell them that you suspect a fraudulent company has taken your money so that your bank can cancel your card and begin a dispute. Hopefully then you will get your money back and the "customer service" line MAY just give you a call back. I would never recommend purchasing or using any product/service that this company provides as I believe they are TRYING TO SCAM YOU!!! I have serious issues with this business. I recently completed a driver improvement course in order to get a speeding ticket dismissed in my state. Upon completion of the exam, I chose to download the certificate, as my due date to the court is approaching. I thought this would be the safe option. However, the business never disclosed that only original copies are excepted by the courts...this is printed on the downloaded certificate, but never disclosed before you select the delivery option. Once you select the delivery option, you cannot go back to make a different or additional selection. The worst part is there is not a single customer service phone number or email address available to me ANYWHERE on the I Drive Safely website. I found a phone number via twitter and I see it is listed above, but their website provides no method of contact to rectify issues. I have had no luck getting through to someone by phone. I am likely going to miss my court deadline because this company couldn't provide straight forward information and provide any form of customer service to purchasers of its product. I chosed I drive safely traffic school based on the reviews and just completed. I honestly do not recommend this school. The online information is okay, but the final is extremely difficult. You have only twice for final exam. If you do not pass, you have to start over, like paying all fee again and read through all materials, and pass each quiz on each section. I needed a lot of time to pass the final because I had to review the material again and again.
