i did not have any services done by this guy but i did get to experience how he drives! This van cut me off while driving and was out of control. POSITIVE UPDATE: After my house was cleaned and painted...one week later I had a toilet hose break and flood the first floor right before I was going to list. The house was vacant and our neighbor saw water coming from under our front door. He shut off the main, I called Rob as I had no one else I knew. Rob came out immediately at 8pm on a saturday night and suctioned out 100+ gallons of water from my floors, carpet, and pad. He put in industrial fans to dry the rest. Rob worked until midnight that night and saved our home from damage and a headache of insurance claims etc.. He saved the day!... Honest, professional, and a hard worker. Called this guy because of his Yelp reviews. He was a little rough on the phone, he confused me with another customer and would not believe I was not that person. He said he was very busy and could not get to me until next week sometime. I said that was fine. I explained what I needed done, and I guess it was too small of a job, because he just hung up on me. Rob and his assistant cleaned my carpets and chair last night. It is the best carpet cleaning I've ever had. The carpets look like new, as does the chair. Rob from I Clean Carpets is great. We called on him to help clean our couches after one of our cats decided to use the sofa cushions as her litter box while were out of town. The only way to really clean the cushions was soak them in the tub with the super concentrated enzyme Rob uses. Unbeknownst to all of us (ourselves and Rob), our sofa cushions are made out of some heavy duty double layer foam, which after soaking in the tub, the cushions weighed about 75 pounds each. Poor Rob had his hands full and his muscles pushed to the limit with carrying these cushions out of the tub and to our back yard so they could dry. We scheduled a time for Rob to return to steam clean the rest of the couch and the cushions once they were dry but had to reschedule two additional times because the cushions were taking so long to dry, and this was even with Rob's industrial blower fan trying to assist the process. Rob was always very good about keeping in touch. Sometimes I would hear back later than expected, but it was because Rob spends individualized one-on-one time with each of his clients. Since he had to take such extra time as our cushions required more work than planned, I knew he wasn't flaking on me ... he was simply busy also giving this same customer service and attention to others. In the end, the cushions dried and we were able to have Rob back to steam clean the rest of the project. He even left us a squirt bottle filled with the enzyme he uses for tackling animal urine in case we had any future accidents. I'm forever grateful to him for leaving us with some of that enzyme ... because the same thing happened again. Now that we know how to get the cushions soaked and cleaned, we did the job ourselves. But in this second attempt, this second job ran us out of the enzyme. When I called Rob to purchase some more, he said to just leave our bottle at our front door and he would stop by to fill it up ... no charge, no worries. Next morning, there was our bottle filled up like he said. I honestly didn't expect to get anything for free, I was perfectly happy buying more of this enzyme magic. But Rob was happy to help out. We were very happy with the work that Rob does, his time he takes with each client, rather than just trying to rush through to the next job. You won't be disappointed. read more

Great experience with Rob and Alex! Sent a Yelp request and quickly received an answer. Confirmed all the details like cost and info via Yelp and was able to book an appointment for two days later. Alex came out to our home, giving a call to let us know he was on his way and arriving on the scheduled time. Alex came in and offered Scotch Guard as an extra, he worked while I confirmed with my husband if we wanted it. After he finished the cleaning, he checked in and we went with the scotch guard. Had I Clean Carpets out to my house today. I called Rob this morning asking if there was any way he could get to my house today because we had a very sick pet and needed what I couldn't get cleaned taken care of. He came out and was able to take care of everything I needed. He took extra time to treat the trouble areas with an extra process to clean down to the pad. The work was great and was everything we need. I will have them back to do my carpet the next time I need it. read more

I used this carpet cleaning busines 6 months ago. He charged me $49.00 for 3 bedrooms. Now I call him he shows up 1 hour late, and the price at a different home, 2 bedrooms and one small living room jumped to $110.00 and the carpet hardly needed cleaning but I am putting it on the market so I thought it should be cleaned. Then I hear that the pre-conditon costs extra, etc. etc.. and I see he has a man with him this time. He has help now so I guess the price has to jump over double to pay the help. It was a smoking good deal once 6 months ago but not anymore. I won't call him again, there are are other carpet cleansers and not the ones he mentions, he wants you to get a higher quote then his. So, pick 2 or 3 and get quotes. I found him in the CraigsList by the way, so are others found there, so don't let these people rip you off, there are others out there that need the work you just need to check them out is all. I am tired of rip off's and if I'm not happy with the price ... I will tell him NO WAY, and I told him I'm not going to be ripped off. I may be a senior but I'm not stupid and not affraid to say, Hell NO, I'll let the next guy do the job. If he reads these at all, he will remember this, almost job. His prices have jumped a LOT!!! First off let me say that I did not actually have a service performed by this company so I am merely reviewing the phone conversation I had with rob to schedule an appointment. I was intrigued by all the positive reviews and the fact that several people said they had work performed on the weekends, which based on my schedule is the time I need, and also that according to the website for I clean carpets it states in very big letters that the owner performs all jobs. However when Rob returned my call I was told that not only do they not work on weekends but also that Rob does not perform work in west phoenix and he had another guy for that. Which makes perfect sense and I completely understand, it would be impossible for one man to do it all. But for someone who is so well reviewed for being upfront and honest, I found these two little white lies to be a little concerning. Rob was a perfectly nice guy on the phone and I am sure he does incredible work, just don't believe everything you read. Update: Just after posting this review I received a call back from Rob apologizing for the inconsistencies in the information that I received and offering to come out personally on a Sunday to make it right. It is rare to find anybody that is as focused on customer service as this company seems to be. I have adjusted my review to 5 stars just for the incredible follow through, being in the service industry myself I am very impressed. I still have not received cleaning services from Rob as of yet but I will update this review next weekend after my appointment date and let you know about the results. read more

If I could give Rob 6 stars I would!!! He is that fantastic. I called Rob on a Saturday morning and told him that I wanted the tile, carpet and one couch cleaned. He booked me in that same day. He was extremely prompt and arrived when he said he was going to. I even got a phone call to let me know he was on his way. The price he quoted me on the phone was very close to what he charged me and true to his word there was no up-sell. My first impression of Rob was very positive. He is a very nice and personable guy and let me tell you, a very hard worker. I love people that take pride in their work and do their best job each and every time. That is Rob. The job at my house was bigger than I thought. Rob spent over 35 minutes alone doing the carpeting in just one of my bedrooms. Amazing dedication to his craft, and oh my the carpet had never looked so clean. He also did my fabric couch and it now looks brand new! The tile floors look equally fantastic. When I woke up this morning and walked into the kitchen I could not believe how clean everything looked. Hats off to you Rob, you clean as well if not better than my Mom and that is the greatest compliment I could give you. I highly recommend Rob. This guy is GREAT! After reviewing all the good reviews on Yelp I called him this morning to see about having him come to my daughters house in Scottsdale to clean her tile and carpets that had been soiled by recent remodeling. She is expecting her second child and is close to her delivery date and I hoped we could get the cleaning done for her before the baby came. Well Rob answered quickly, inquired as to what we needed, agreed a price and told me he could be here in 45 minutes! 48 minutes later he rolled into the driveway and the fun began. He doesn't drive a fancy rig but he has good equipment and when this is operated by a guy motivated to do a good job it equals a job well done. My wife ( who can be hard to please, truth be told) liked his work so well she asked him to stay and do the carpets and furniture in our motorhome. All the work was done very well and delivered with a smile. He even cleaned an extra room and a closet that we had not included in our deal and without charging us extra. You can't go wrong with Rob if you want a square deal, good service and a clean job! read more

I chose this company according to the reviews I read on yelp. I am so glad I did! We recently had renters move out and their dog must has used the living room as it's toilet. The smell was so bad it burned my nose every time I walked into the house. We thought we were going to have to replace the carpet $$. I called Rob hoping for a miracle. He and his company were amazing! He was friendly, honest, and very experienced with cleaning pet urine out of carpet. We chose to have the carpet cleaned throughout the entire house. My carpets looked brand new again! The smell was gone! Rob gave me a bottle of enzyme spray just in case the smell came back. Well after 1 month, I could still smell urine, slightly. I called Rob and he took the time to direct me as to what to do. He also guaranteed that if the smell didn't go away, he'd come back out and try again. I always read Yelp reviews before I hire someone to work in my home, but this is the first time I have ever written a review. So a company has to be darn good to get me to write a review. We needed to clean seven large, high quality oriental rugs. One of them is very old, and gets heavy wear. And, we have four rescued cats who live with us. We checked out several companies, including the big chains that advertise on TV, radio and the internet, but most of them have limited experience and just want to get your money and go home. We also checked out the specialized rug cleaning services, but they are very expensive, and wanted us to bring the rugs to them. We decided to hire Rob and I Clean Carpets to do the work, and we are very happy with the results. Rob has a great deal of experience in cleaning carpets, and he knows what to do and what not to do. He is courteous, thorough, dependable and honest. He called to confirm our appointment time, and showed up exactly on time. All the work was done in our home, with no need to carry the rugs somewhere else. The work was completed at a fraction of the cost of other companies (including the national chains), with no hidden fees and no extra charges for things that don't work and you don't need. The rugs were thoroughly cleaned, with no residue, no chemical odors, and no stains that return a few days after cleaning. They look as good as new. He gave us booties to wear while the carpets dried, as well as free spray bottles of spot remover and pet odor treatment.
