One was an "apprentice" and not too quick . They arrived late ( about 930, though the appt was for 9 and the receipt claimed they began at 8 .) They assessed the problem and went to buy the parts needed ( which according to the receipt was a 20$ kit that also never came with a verifiable receipt and that they drove 13 miles to find (round trip ) and I live 4 miles TOPS round trip distance from ace hardware & two grocery stores . ALL OF THIS - the 13 miles trip for the "20$ shower drain gasket kit" took 1.5 hrs which I was billed for and have no way to verify. ) The apprentice for the most part was installing it as a learning moment ( which I am all for teachable moments but not when I am paying $200 per hour), but was not quick at all . The entire process lasted 3 hours and the installation itself despite the slow pace of he apprentice was the quickest part ( 30 mins). For something I could've done ... I paid $600.00. I will not EVER,EVER, EVER use or recommend this company again . This was a huge mistake . Save yourself and use Matthew's plumbing solutions - it's a night and day experience !!

I did not have a favorable interaction with Core Plumbing. I Purchased a 1920's house that needs a…read morelot of repairs. I asked Glen to please look at my toilets that were not working. Glen stopped by and quoted me $190 cash to replace a valve, he mentioned that might be the problem. The $190 is fair, although it's a $19 part repair, so agreed. The job was done in about 5 minutes, we had running water and a toilet that flushed. Glen quickly left after I paid him cash. I went to the restroom to ensure everything was fine and noticed the water was still leaking and pouring out of the toilet near the valve that Glen had just fixed. I shut off the water, and called Glen. I mentioned I would simply buy new toilets to resolve the issue completely . Glen quoted me about $450 to replace two toilets: I purchased NEW toilets and was ready to get them installed. . I asked if he could please ensure the toilets would properly flush, and ensure I have no drain issues. Glen mentioned "if I have to run line to check your drains it's going to be a lot more than just $450". At that point I just felt frustrated, I felt up charge at every point of my house, we agreed to not have anything done. Overall it was a bad and did not feel like an honest experience. I should have just done the work myself.
