    New seat post and seat

Had to have seat post cut and replaced. Old one totally seized. These guys did a great job replacing everything and kept the budget reasonable. Very good experience and I recommend I&M for your cycling needs.

I & M 2 is one of those bicycle repair shops that you have a good feeling about as soon as you walk in....and I was no exception! Both times I have stopped by, the staff was friendly, attentive and at the same time super busy repairing and preparing old and new bicycles! Every customer in the store was happy with their service and expertise. I assume they are a branch of I & M bicycle shop in Sunset Park which also has great reviews. So if you live in the Church Avenue / Kensington/Windsor Terrace/Park Slope area and own a bike, these are the guys to know but don't tell too many people or there will be a line out the door!

Amazing! Walked in not knowing what to expect price wise, customer service-wise and these guys took super care of me and my bike. Worth every penny. Rides like a dream. Didn't get the discount I wanted lol but I love supporting local business. Will definitely be back for my next tuneup and gladly refer/recommend.

I am a newbie cyclist and wanted to purchase a bike as a way to get around safely amid COVID concerns. Louis and Christian two of the guys that work in the shop were super helpful - I asked a million questions. They were clear with their responses, thoughtful of my concerns and walked me through safety measures for locking up my bike while out. I also purchased one of the last three bikes left! There is a major shortage of bike shops with.stick left and online had a long backlog on delivery. I was surprised I found my bike, kinda just waiting for me to purchase! I have gone on several rides in the neighborhood and feel comfortable with the fitting and so glad I am now a bike owner. I'll be back to purchase accessories and gear and would recommend this place to friends looking for a bike as well!

Writing a review for a road bike I purchased a few years ago from R&A -- like the reviews note, the…read moreservice is fairly gruff/rude -- however, they were the only store that had the road bike I wanted in stock so purchased. I was all set to purchase, but the mechanic (I believe Luis) had me get on the bike and said I needed to size down. He then did an impromptu fit to get everything dialed in. 3 years later, the bike rides like a dream and is a perfect fit and has brought me years of enjoyment.

Unfortunately, for one of his builds, I did use them to get some components that I couldn't source other places and around every corner they drop the ball. We were not notified that parts were on backorder, even though it said when I ordered that they were in stock and would ship within a few days. Another part they ordered the wrong size and along this process, they never let us know what was going on. I had to call to find out why I hadn't received something in a couple weeks and then again to figure out where his stem was. They never returned our calls, which meant I had to take extra time out of my day to call back numerous times. It is unfortunate that they are such a large distributor of Colnago bikes. There's no way I'm going to support this place again. They don't deserve my money and I'm upset about the thousands of dollars I've spent there thus far. It won't happen again.

It's rather sad that when I receive honest, fairly-priced, quality service, it surprises me because…read moreit has become so uncommon. I read numerous reviews praising this shop not only for their excellent service but also for their honorable business practices. Today, I had the pleasure of confirming that every one of those kind words were true in those reviews with the assistance of Sean. As a new rider with limited knowledge about my bike's needs, I made it clear to Sean that I didn't know bikes and told him to do whatever he thought was best. He could have taken advantage of my inexperience and charged me for unnecessary services, but instead, he walked me through exactly what my bike needed and what it didn't. He charged me a very very fair price to fix it right there on the spot. Thank you, Sean, and the team, for reminding me what great service feels like.

I've been going to this shop on and off for years and recently decided to give it another shot,…read morehoping things had improved. Unfortunately, the experience has been consistently disappointing. While a few staff members have been friendly, there's been a recurring pattern of dismissive and somewhat condescending behavior across multiple visits. Questions and concerns often felt brushed off, and explanations of services -- like what a "free tune-up" actually includes -- were vague or incomplete. There were also several instances where the work itself didn't inspire confidence. A computer mount was left spinning despite being told it was secure, and on another visit, a mechanic refused to use carbon paste on a mount, which didn't feel appropriate for the component involved. What's most concerning is that this wasn't a one-off experience -- it's been a pattern over time. When communication and attention to detail are lacking, it starts to impact both safety and trust, especially on longer rides. Update (Jan 2026): I later found out that a tubeless setup I paid for had barely any sealant in the tires, which explains why a flat wouldn't seal. Another shop had to fix it. At this point, I've decided to take my business elsewhere. I'd recommend double-checking any work before leaving.
