Aptly named because I am truly a cake and wanted to eat everything. Yummy pastries -- buttery, crumby scones just the way I like it -- with cakes that I was so tempted to take home for later. Going back for the mango pudding! The colourful aesthetic of this restaurant is just indulgence-maxxing. Dangerous spot to be around!

This is a new Korean Dessert cafe. They serve hot and iced drinks, along with many dessert baked goods, like cakes, scones, fanciers, and madeleines, all in different flavours. Their matcha is high-grade (just below ceremonial-grade). This location soft-opened on 2026-02-10, with indoor dining. Their other location opened in Oct 2024, and is takeout-only. I ordered the following: 1. Mango Matcha Cake slice ($9.50). 2. Strawberry Matcha Cream Latte (iced 16 oz, $7.00). The service was good. As with most Asian desserts, they are not overly sweet. The matcha in the cake and drink tasted good. The cake had cream, mango sauce, and a thin piece of white chocolate on top. The mango and cream, which were fresh, matched well with the matcha, as did the strawberry puree. I would definitely have it again. I also took photos of Chestnut Cheesecake slice ($9.50), Victoria Scone ($6.50), Chocolate Cream Madeleine ($4.75), Matcha Cream Latte (iced 16 oz, $6.50). The vibe is bright yellow, more accurately "butter yellow", as their main colour scheme, and their chairs are brightly-coloured. There are four round tables and one couch for indoor seating. There is lively music (mostly Korean) playing in the background. There are some company-branded merchandise for sale. All containers are recyclable, of which their paper-based containers and straws are biodegradable. There is free WiFi. The cafe is wheelchair accessible. There is one gender-neutral washroom which is wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2026-022

Such a quaint little café. I tried the strawberry matcha latte and the chocolate cheesecake. Both were quite good. The strawberry matcha latte had a very nice strawberry flavor to it, the matcha was mixed well and not burnt and not too bitter. It is on the sweeter side so be sure to adjust sugar levels if you don't want it so sweet. The cheesecake was good, although a bit expensive. It had a nice chocolate aroma to it. The texture is on the denser side, although that's not necessary a bad thing. There is seating available (around 4 - 5 tables) and a washroom available. Service was quick and friendly.

Cute little cafe that has a youthful, school theme to it. Tried their matchas, which were reasonably priced at about $7. The mango puree in the matcha was a nice touch. The earl grey scone and matcha cheesecake were also pretty good but sort of too crumbly in texture.

Stopped by to get the viral chewy dubai chocolate cookies but were disappointed to find out that they don't carry it on the weekends. I settled with a mango matcha, strawberry matcha, and 6 cream filled madeleines. When you buy six, it's tax free. The matcha a were delicious, I think I like the mango one more but I would get both again! The Madeline's were also really good, the cream was nice and light with a perfectly light crisp on the exterior of the pastries. The cashier was helping in helping me decide and i waited around 10-15 min for my order. Some seating inside but it was really busy!

A lot of times when we try a sweet shop/pastry place the products are filled with sugar however Asters have found a balance and know how to prepare their stuff. Pastries: If you like chocolate - try the double chocolate cake (it's in the picture, I don't recall the correct name) this is chocolaty, not too sweet, soft but not too soft. If you like mousse, & pistachios - try the pastry on the right from the picture. It is crunchy from the outside, 2nd layer is soft (mousse) and the last layer is nuts/pistachio. If you like Mango (desis you must try this) have their mango sweet which is not in the picture but it's their best seller. It is amazing! Drinks: The mango matcha - again if you like mango, & matcha have this you won't regret it. Mix it properly and enjoy the distinct flavours of both (matcha and mango) it is slightly on a sweeter side though. The barista seems experienced based on the milk texture and the art of the latte. Kudos They have limited dining space so take note of that however there is a huge foodcourt so you can go there. You should also take note of the prices on the pastries, the small double chocolate cake was 10$ however it is clear that they are serving good quality stuff.

The aesthetic and the attention to detail when it comes to these desserts flawless, and exceptional. I enjoyed every single bite of my dessert. For drinks, we got hot chocolates, and they had one of the best hot chocolates I've ever tasted, and I'm not exaggerating. It was the perfect drink and taste to eat my dessert. Location: The location is very pretty, but it's pretty casual. The seating is pretty close to other guests in the restaurant or tables of two if I'm not mistaken. This is a perfect place to go with friends or family or on a quick date or by yourself. This place looked like it was located on a main street with street parking, but because I was visiting in Toronto, I'm not sure how the parking works as we took Uber. Service: The service was great, and they were very friendly and answered any questions regarding the desserts on display to help us pick the perfect one for ourselves. They also brought the food to our table, including the drinks. I 100% would go back to this location.

Their main location is in Mississauga, and they expanded to North York a few years ago. Service is nice and cheerful, making you feel quite welcome. I like their drink selection that has some interesting things like black sesame latte, tiramisu latte, and grapefruit tea. Their dessert select is good too, with things big and small. Their rolls and cakes are excellent, with plenty of cream, not too sweet. The cakes are beautifully glazed and decorated. The sweet potato cake is fluffy and light. The mont blanc has a nice chestnutty flavour, but is a bit too sweet for my liking. At the moment, they are selling Korean dubai chewy cookies, but we'll see how long this fad lasts...

But she was right LOL. It was really good, and it was even better than the desserts at the restaurant we had dinner at that night. We cut the 6" cheesecake into 12 small pieces, and it was perfect for a sweet little treat at the end of our meal :) The staff were courteous and ready to help. It was quite busy even on a Saturday evening around 6pm. There are also tables inside the shop for dining in. Other than whole cakes, they do have slices of cakes available and other mini desserts + a lot of macarons! We did request the shop to write HBD on the cake, but the staff said they are unable to do it at this location (not sure why, maybe don't have the proper tools?). We also tried asking for a candle; we ended up having to buy a pack of 6 candles at the shop :\

There are only 8 iconic flavours: Chocolate, Vanilla, Pistachio, Caramel, Rose, Orange Blossom, Blackcurrant Violette, and Marie Antoinette tea. Eugénie is an unexpected marriage of textures, with a crunchy biscuit, a melting heart and a crunchy chocolate coating. This Union Station location is only a kiosk, rather than a full patisserie. It opened in Oct 2024. They thought they were only going to be there until Feb 2025, but as of 2025-06-23, they are still there. It is opposite Union Samples. Visited this cute little Filipino bake shop nestled in shops at don mills…read more They sell Filipino sweet treats and baked goods. Pandesal, cake slices, coffee, cookies, cheesecakes, and a small select option of savoury food as well. For baked goods I walked out with: - Ube cheesecake: it was moist, Ube packed flavour with a hint of creaminess from the cheese. Enjoyed it. And read good reviews about it prior to ordering it so that's why I chose it :) - Ube crinkle cookies: a basic Ube crinkle cookie, not too sweet (which is great) and powdered with sugar on the outside. Ube flavour is mild not too overpowering, moist and fluffy cookie. Would recommend as well! - Spicy chicken empanada- buttery crust, soft and falls apart because the crust is so buttery!! Stuffing was generous, chicken flavourful but I didn't find the inside spicy. One is enough for one sitting. I would like to try other flavours as well. Service - friendly. Fast. Efficient. $$- I would say some of the items are quite pricey for what you get e.g. turon for $5, cake + coffee slice for $10-12, I think that I've found other bakeries to be a little more cost friendly. But assuming because this one is more franchised, Perhaps why prices are higher (?) Would overall recommend this place especially if you'd like to share Filipino sweets culture/food. They do sell cakes and party platters of desserts which is also a bonus. Would recommend to try!
