This freeway has recently had a lot worse traffic than just 3 months ago. I am not sure what is going on with it. If you are traveling at off peak times or out in the IE this Freeway is my favorite option. If you are traveling during peak travel times, in the san gabriel valley its scary bad, often in both directions. If you are traveling on Saturday or Sunday its a dream route. There are a number of potholes lately, perhaps its time for the crews to start filling them up. They are also expanding the metro line running down the middle of the fwy it looks like out to Arcadia. So take it if you are comfortable there are good times and bad times... who knows what will be best though, I sure know its a crapshoot...

It depends on the time of day, which way you are going, etc , etc. On my commute at 6am in the 210 east, people know how to drive. However, I would die if I had to be on the other side, it is always stopped. On the way back, at 430pm, the 210 west from the 57 to Pasadena is ok if you are in the car pool lane UNTIL you hit the 605. There is never and accident, there is just too many people who just do NOT KNOW how to drive. I pick up my car at the Madre train station and go into NOHO, and I just avoid the 210 west by taking Maple and catching the 134 at Fair Oaks. There are too many people in Pasadena and the number of people trying to figure out if they need to get over just makes it worse. Ugh!!

The service wasn't very good here. I thought the 2 freeway, which feeds into the 210, was more attentive.

This is usually the freeway I use to get from my place to OC and LA County. It can suck ass at times but is a pretty reliable freeway.

Great from the 5 to 134. Can get ugly from there to the 57. And remember, the section between the 5 and 134 is where CHiPS was filmed.

Founded in the early 1900s, this group proposed giving each family a couple of acres of land to farm as part of the back-to-the-land movement. Several communities were founded on these principles, but by 1925, they were mostly abandoned. The building is made of local stone and beautifully maintained. Admission is free. Museum displays of local artifacts include items from the Tongva people living in the community that gave Tujunga its name (weren't they the original people living off the land, by the way?). I love visiting the tiny gift shop, which features cards, books, and artwork made by local artists. It's truly unique, and you'll be supporting a good cause.
