The space not only is a waiting room but also houses her creative side hustle of antique housewares. I was OUT in 15 min and that's because I wanted to chat, so definitely the easiest way to renew your insurance if it has to be in person like me. They only allow check-in 10 minutes prior to your appointment, no earlier. I arrived 15 minutes early, checked in 10 mins before my appointment time, and waited an additional 10-15 minutes. Overall, the entire process took about 30 minutes, which wasn't bad at all! The employees helping us were very fast and friendly. Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment or call ahead to make it easier.

I went on a Wednesday afternoon around 4:25 pm. Only three other people were there. A security officer told me to go to window 26 for a ticket. The woman at window 26 sent an e-ticket to my phone and asked me to have a seat. My number was called about ten minutes later. The woman at window 17 was helpful and efficient. I left at 4:47 pm. I have no complaints. Maybe 4:30 pm on a Wednesday is their sweet spot.

The second and last time I came here was a different story. There was a female employee who was yelling at people and pointing for them where to go. So unprofessional. When it came to my turn, I was confused to where she was pointing at and yelling at me where to go since she was behind the desk but she continued to just yell louder and give me attitude like I was a back in grade school. I'm a substitute teacher and I don't even talk to my students that way. I went up to her to ask her a question and she just gives me attitude back again. The other employee next to her was more patient and professional. But my goodness I've never had to deal with such a rude, unprofessional employee anywhere before. The whole DMV was just chaotic. I typically go to the one in Arleta and it's much more organized no matter how packed it gets. Definitely won't be back there again.
