There are 2 lines, one for appointments only and the other for walk-ins. In terms with people with appointments, they are very strict on time frames. So if you show up 15-20 minutes early for your appointment, they will skip you until your appointment time. If you state that your appointment is 5-10 minutes earlier than your actual appointment, you make line inside, they will tell you to take a seat and wait until you are within 2 minutes of your appointment. The second and last time I came here was a different story. There was a female employee who was yelling at people and pointing for them where to go. So unprofessional. When it came to my turn, I was confused to where she was pointing at and yelling at me where to go since she was behind the desk but she continued to just yell louder and give me attitude like I was a back in grade school. I'm a substitute teacher and I don't even talk to my students that way. I went up to her to ask her a question and she just gives me attitude back again. The other employee next to her was more patient and professional. But my goodness I've never had to deal with such a rude, unprofessional employee anywhere before. The whole DMV was just chaotic. I typically go to the one in Arleta and it's much more organized no matter how packed it gets. Definitely won't be back there again.

No one likes being at the DMV, especially me. I would have to say that they were very, very helpful. They greeted me with a warm smile, which is key for me when dealing with a business. The staff was very upfront and knowledgeable of what I needed to do and what was required of me by the DMV. They did not do the whole smoke and mirrors gag to get an extra dollar out of me. They assisted in me renewing my registration on the spot, and completed the other items that I needed to take care of in the DMV, without me even having to step foot in the DMV.
