You have a 1 in 52 chance of becoming a victim of crime, far lower than Eureka = 1 in 16 chance. Why does Sylmar have such a bad rap? Very likely because it doesn't have Nike store.

Once I arrived I was appalled by the amount of parking there is, usually one has to pay or park far but here parking is not an issue. The check in process was super straight forward fill out you're form get in line go thru security then check in. You will ride a bus about 5 min to the facility and as soon as you get off go inside the facility and hand over your form to the officer. From there it's just a wait till you hear your loved one's name and they'll tell you you're booth. Staff and officers were very nice and understanding something I would wish I'd see more in L.A. Dress code is not so strict from what I've seen but I still try to keep it toned down casual just in case! Sometimes there will be lockdowns and unfortunately that aren't the facility's fault. They go thru a thorough process and as soon as everything is green light then they will almost always let you in to see your loved one. If you need to use the restroom try using the ones passing security for a cleaner experience. Stay strong everyone God is good!

After you are done you can get your paperwork from the window at G68. The court internet connection gave me at least 100mbs download on my phone- which is pretty good! The cafe is on the first floor, all the way in the back. Also, the cleanest restrooms are in G68.

We walked in there were about 20 people with appointments and 6 without. A separate line for walk ins. So I stood there. Waiting ...!!!! After one and half hours they called one person from the walk in line. There are many windows available and only three employees working. After every customer the employee takes about ten minutes to call the next one. At times there were zero customers being helped. So after three hours of waiting one more person got called from the walk in line. At this point I had to leave. I couldn't stand being there for another minute, I knew I would have a panic attack very soon by looking at the way they operate this place. Poor elderly people waiting and waiting ... moms with babies crying and waiting. Why can't these offices operate better. More organized and better staffed ??? It's so sad. My dad commented on the hijo part and she told me she can't change it in the system it's just set to child and she made a snarky comment stating that there's a parenthesis so it can be "hijo" or "hija" which I replied saying that in the letter there's no parenthesis which is why they were concerned. And she's like, "I'm looking at the screen the letter they sent you" to which I replied, "I have the letter in my hand so do you want a screenshot of it?" Lol she was just very rude overall to my parents and I. I don't know what her deal is. Maybe she needs coffee or something else.... Sad I didn't get her name. You need to register in advance and show up early. I was there at least an hour early and that helped. There is free parking and I walked up to the line from there. When I arrived I had a hat, wallet, keys, phone, and a Bible I wanted to give away. An officer politely told me that you cannot bring any of that in. No keys, no phone, no Bible, nothing extra. You lock things up, then go through the line, and take a bus to the area where your visit will be. The officers I dealt with were kind and professional. They explained the rules and kept things moving. They say the visits are about 30 minutes, but I was given more time than that, which I appreciated. You do need to understand where you are and follow the rules. Within that reality, my experience with the staff was respectful. I do wish there was a way to bring in a Bible but I understand they have strict policies. so three and a half stars, which rounds up to 4 on here, based on how I was treated.

I still can't believe how amazing our experience was at my husband's green card interview. From…read moresecurity to our interviewer, everyone was genuinely kind, professional, and reassuring. Going into it, it's hard not to imagine every possible negative outcome. As someone with high anxiety, I was honestly terrified and couldn't stop thinking about worst-case scenarios. But the entire process was nothing but positive. Security was friendly, the check-in staff was welcoming, and they clearly explained that there could be a wait and asked us to be patient. While we waited (15 minutes), we scrolled on our phones and chatted to pass the time. When our number was finally called, I swear it took her saying it three times before it registered I was so nervous I basically blacked out. I had prepared a full binder of evidence, and we had also uploaded over 60 documents to our account ahead of time. In the end, our interview lasted no more than 15 minutes, and we were approved on the spot. My biggest advice: be over-prepared. Bring everything bank statements, insurance, photos, travel receipts, shared bills, and anything else that shows your life together. If your relationship is real, your evidence will speak for itself.
