He spent time talking about the advantages of each car and the next day I drove out with the perfect car! Btw... The movie Used Cars, with Kurt Russell, was filmed in Mesa in 1980. I was very leary of purchasing pre-owned as I have heard so many horror car buying stories of shady salesman, selling faulty vehicles and lacking clarity about the true vehicle condition, so I started my research. It took me close to a month of research, before I found a preowned dealership that still honored integrity. I knew the cars I was interested in and found my way to Goldie's. I was working with another dealership, as I had been pre-approved, but let me tell you what made the difference.. the service at Goldie's ! Through text and email, John, my sales-friend, (I call him) was so relatable and communicative. Walking in I have to admit is pretty cool, in the show room they had a old school IMMACULATE Corvette, a skew ball machine, and arcade games it felt unlike any other dealership I had walked in. The owners son greeted me and asked if I needed anything and to let him know if I did! He was the sweetest teenager. When they say Goldie's is a family business they really mean it ! I was working with John and let me tell you he was so transparent and honest it was like a breath of fresh air. I had considered other vehicles they had but he talked me through the maintenance cost, resale value and common mechanical issues each of the cars I had considered. Once I settled on a vehicle he was able to check for me the maintenance records as well as reviewed the carfax report with me. When I took the car for a test drive he told me to take my time get to know the car and make sure it was right for me. I never felt pressured to purchase. I was having a horrible time in dealing with the insurance payout of my previous vehicle and John was very empathetic in understanding my situation. He had set expectations before I came that with the insurance payout being delayed I may not be able to take the vehicle the vehicle home. I was thrilled with the no pressure atmosphere, and just came to take a look at the vehicle in person, with zero expectation to buy. John and his manager worked magic. I did in fact decide to purchase my vehicle and was able to take it home, there is a small cosmetic issue that I requested to have repaired and he called immediately and got the approval to get it taken care of. I'll be returning later this week to have that completed. I'll keep you guys posted after the service appointment. I had a great experience and I feel I got a good deal on my vehicle and, I felt like my business was valued, my concerns were heard and they've made a lifelong customer out of me ! Special thanks to Goldie's and super special thanks to John!

I had an extremely disappointing experience attempting to purchase a Toyota Tundra from Carizona…read more I placed a $2,000 deposit based on how the vehicle was represented and then paid for an independent pre-purchase inspection. That inspection uncovered multiple problems that were not apparent from the listing, including a cracked dash screen, a tear in the rear seat that had been covered with duct tape, and significant cosmetic/body concerns. After receiving the inspection, I gave Carizona two reasonable options: repair the vehicle so it matched how it had been represented to me, or return my deposit. I documented multiple attempts to resolve the situation but did not receive a satisfactory response. What was particularly frustrating was discovering later that Carizona had apparently made repairs to the truck and relisted it. I was never contacted to tell me the repairs had been completed or given an opportunity to move forward with the purchase. I had to find the new listing myself. The truck was subsequently advertised at approximately $2,000 less than the price I had been dealing with--which essentially corresponds to the amount of my deposit. This experience ultimately cost me the $2,000 deposit, the cost of the independent inspection, additional expenses, and a significant amount of time trying to resolve the matter. The dispute is now the subject of pending litigation, so I will let the court determine the legal issues. My advice to anyone considering a vehicle here is simple: get an independent pre-purchase inspection before committing significant money, carefully document the vehicle's advertised condition, and keep copies of all communications. I would have much preferred for Carizona to simply communicate with me and resolve this professionally.

Sadly we didn't end up purchasing a car from here (couldn't find one that met all our…read morerequirements), but I had to review to mention the awesome staff. From online to in person interactions, everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The test driving experience was the most hassle free I've ever seen. When sitting down to talk pricing, everything was upfront about condition and options. Even offered financing options if need. Would definitely recommend.

I ended up looking at Hyundai Ioniq 5 N (yes the fast version) before stopping here for 2023 Genesis GV60 Performance. Let me just say, this is by far THE BEST experience. I was able to walk in (no appointment needed) and Christian M was able to help me right away. A quick ID scan and he came back just gave me the keys I'm like what?!? I'm not used to this level of customer service. He gave me quick directions for the test drive route and I was able to follow it step by step by myself. I say the only negative about this place is the lot, they have many vehicles and parking/spaces are limited. As for the vehicle, it was nice and I would jump on it if it wasn't a buyback (branded title) Now I already knew this vehicle is branded before stopping by. I wanted to see if I can find out more on the reason why it was a buyback other than charging issue. Sadly the paperwork didn't provide the additional info. Should you get a buyback? That really depends. The price is GREAT no doubt and if you plan on KEEPING the vehicle long term (as the resale value is a lot lower, do a quick check via CarMax or Carvana), don't mind dealing with potential electricial issues (but they should be cover under warranty) But knowing myself I usually don't keep vehicles longer than a few years. Also I would double check your insurance and make sure it doesn't cost extra. And at the time I haven't driven the Kia EV6 GT (the original vehicle I was looking at) so I ended up passing on this. Also wanted to point out they have the lowest Doc fee that I've ran into ($299) here vs other dealers wanted $699. No add-ons, title fee is $19. Very low sales pressure, extremely friendly staff, I would stop by again in the future when I'm looking for another vehicle.

I was in the market for a very specific car, and I found exactly what I was looking for on their website. I went in on an exceptionally hot Tuesday afternoon, took a test drive of a 2012 Jeep Cherokee with 4x4, and instantly fell in love. Best part? I drove off in my sparkling new car in under an hour! They were upfront and honest about the financing which made me feel like I was truly getting a fair deal. It's also a family owned business, which really sets it apart from the big auto dealerships down the street who barely had time to show me a vehicle earlier that week. I'll definitely be back for all of my future vehicle purchases at Town and Country Motors... and to see that adorable pup, of course! ;)

Pretty straightforward. The bad thing is it's what I would call a churn and burn operation. They're in business to flip lower end cars. This ain't Audi. BMW or Benz. You're not going to get a multipoint inspected car. You're going to get exactly what you see. Nothing more so you better be sure you like what you drive off the lot. I could tell the car we bought was in good cosmetic condition even though it was filthy. They owned it 4 months and did little to nothing to diagnose any mechanical issues. Shortly after our purchase the car developed a serious mechanical issue I'm pleased to say they stood behind it and had it repaired. Will I do business with them again? It a snowball's chance but you night them.
