    Most comfortable bed.

Hotel Monge and staff are the best! We just came back after a five night stay and it was the most comfortable stay I've had in all my visits to Paris. Our bed and room were so comfortable and sophisticated (in decor). You feel relaxed as soon as you enter the cozy room. My family and I have also stayed at their sister hotel-Hotel Fabric; attention to detail and knowing their clientele is part of their DNA. They get it. Their lobby is also a sitting area where my family and I convened in the morning and eve. Adjacent to the sitting area is the dining room where complimentary coffee and snacks are on hand 24/7. In the evening, they have a bar set up with a nice selection of wine and spirits. A delicious breakfast is also available every morning-complete with buttery/flaky croissants, hot and cold cheeses and meats, breads, yogurts...along with juices, coffees and teas. Special shout out to Cecelia who we had the pleasure of meeting again here at Hotel Monge and last Fall at Fabric. Her hospitality and professionalism is unmatched. When we return later this year, we will definitely be staying here.

Beautiful and cozy boutique hotel! Very warm and inviting staff that made me feel super special on my 40th Birthday holiday!! They left me a personal message in our room which was elegantly decorated. Hotel Monge's cleanliness met my OCD expectations over and beyond...I even felt comfortable walking barefoot in the room and bathroom! (That never happens btw) Although it rained the entire only day we were in Paris, the hotel ambience and staff made up for it! The breakfast was superb and evening snacks with beverages (honor system) was a great added touch. The night stay also included a private reservation in their wonderfully relaxing spa/hamaam (steam room and shower). It was an immaculate all-marble hamaam stocked with towels, L'Occitane bath products, robes, slippers and bottles of Evian. It was truly a luxurious experience!!!

We stayed at the Hotel Monge on our first trip to Paris, which also happened to be our honeymoon. We stayed for three nights and had a lovely time! We got a "superior room", which was small but very comfortable. The room had great storage, free water, a couch and great blackout curtains. The breakfast was great, and they even have real scrambled eggs-- not the powder eggs you usually see at hotels. Coffee, tea and water were available free of charge anytime, and there was a "honesty" bar for cocktails in the evening. We didn't get to use it, but guests can use the sauna and shower free of charge. You get the whole thing to yourself if you book it in advance. Overall, it was a wonderful hotel, and we will definitely stay there when we come back to Paris.

A completely lovely and very comfortable hotel with friendly and accommodating concierges. Probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in during my entire trip. The hammam was a welcome respite and we loved the decor. Just perfect in every way. The breakfast is worth every penny. I will definitely return.

I loved this hotel! The check-in and check-out was completely easy which was nice after traveling such a long way from the states. This hotel feels new, clean, and sooo comfortable. The complimentary mini fridge was a highlight of our stay. It was restocked once a day and was great to having cold drinks in the morning. The staff was SO friendly. They spoke English well and were highly accommodating to our every needs. We didn't try the breakfast but there are many cafes and bakeries right outside. This hotel is in what seems to be a more residential neighborhood which was nice and didn't make us feel like tourists. It was a very short walk from the metro and if you get a room on the high floors the views of Paris are breathtaking! I would definitely stay here again.

Your room key rests on the wall when you come in. Keeps from losing room key & powers the electricity in room. A+

That rate has since climbed to 75,000 points, and I don't think any of us are likely to go back for all that. This was a free stay for me and my crew, so let me start by saying the hotel was generally very nice. The location was excellent, central and close to transit, and the common areas were opulent and attractive. Everyone I interacted with on staff was polite and helpful, and housekeeping did good work. I also appreciated the complimentary wine and chocolates left in our room, and the breakfast and dinner at the lobby restaurant. My brothers and I had rooms on the 4th floor, while my parents were in a suite on the 6th. My room had a king bed and room for a rollaway, which my kids took turns sleeping in when they weren't just piling onto our bed. The rooms were comfortable and upscale, if more in line with 45,000 points than 75,000. No wow factor, and some things felt weird and old. The outlet situation wasn't great. There were no adaptors, and there were a couple USB ports, but they were for smartphone cables from like five years ago. The lighting was also nuts. We wanted to turn off most of the lights when our kids went to bed, but keep one on so we could hang out in the room. There was legit no way to do this, and we sat in the dark rather than have spotlights keeping our kids awake. These are minor complaints, which I might have ignored if not for my big complaint: the planned power outage on the last night of our stay. We were not notified of this outage in advance of our trip, and only learned about it through a printed letter left in our room. The power outage was scheduled for between midnight and 4:30 in the morning, an we found out about it when we returned to the hotel after midnight and learned the elevators weren't running. We walked up the stairs and spent the night in an overheated room with no electricity in the middle of July. It was really unpleasant. When we woke up, we learned the electricity was still partially out, and neither of our phones had charged. My husband's phone was dead, and he went downstairs to get it charged and complain to the front desk. He told them that the hotel shouldn't have been open for business, and they offered to refund my mom 45,000 points, the cost of our room for that night. This was a good start, but only accounted for one of our four rooms. When we compared notes with my mom, we also learned that a hotel employee had opened the door to our room that night while she was in there watching our sleeping children. He didn't announce himself until she asked who he was and chased him out, and when she inquired with management about what happened, they told her we'd requested help with a safe. This wasn't true, but they acted like it was, and were generally dismissive and unapologetic. My mom ended up emailing management about all of the above, and they were, overall, dismissive and unapologetic. At some point, they did quietly give her the 45,000 points promised to my husband, but there was no other acknowledgment that she had been inconvenienced. As my husband pointed out, the hotel wasn't fit to be occupied that night, and there must have been a meeting to discuss whether or not to close for business. Management must have decided that would be too expensive, and that the letter would be sufficient. Look, I'm not a difficult customer, and I certainly don't go around complaining about fancy hotels. But our Park Hyatt experience was a solid B. I wouldn't recommend it, especially not at the new rate.

Although I had a rear side room, so no view of the street, I was very happy with it. I slept peacefully each night and although the rooms aren't large, they use every inch of the space and was very well planned out. The breakfast was actually one of my favorite parts about being here. You are able to have breakfast in your room or downstairs in the breakfast room. The breakfast rooms decor was lovely and I looked forward to my breakfast every morning! Highly recommend, the staff is lovely and the hotel is clean and my favorite small hotel I have stayed at thus far in Paris. After a lot of researching and back and forth I selected Hotel Diana for my 4 night stay in Paris…read more I booked directly through their website which was super easy. I selected the queen size bed room - my close friend selected the full size bed room. We arrived in the early evening and check in was quick. Fortunately the lift /elevator was working as we had a lot of luggage it all fit as well as myself . The room was small and basic, which I expected being in downtown Paris. The bathroom was simple with a bathtub shower combo. The bed was comfortable and there was a working a/c however it didn't really get the room super cold but kept it comfortable for summer. Fortunately the heat wave was over by the time we arrived. Tne bathroom did get very warm if you were styling your hair or doing your makeup. I would suggest bringing a small portable fan with you if coming in tne summer . The location is the selling point of this hotel. Walking distance to so many cute restaurants and cafes. 5 minute walk to Notre Dame and the Sienne River. Felt perfectly safe walking around day or night even solo. Usually there were young men working the front desk. They were always polite however I wish they were able to provide a little more suggestions where to go or how to get around for a first time visitor. Great budget hotel in the 5th.

The room that we had was relatively spacious, with a double bed and some room to move around. The mattress was very comfortable and linens were perfectly clean (no gross bed covering that you typically find in hotels). There was also a relatively spacious bathroom with a nice bath tub (a good find in Paris). The room had quiet, perfectly-working AC and the Wifi was free. There was also a safe in the room. We were basically on a roll. The room also had double windows, which eliminated the noise from the adjacent street (this was amazing). The location is also quite nice. It's in the Latin quarter, walking distance from Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and the Sorbonne. Metro access is easy as well, in fact it is on a direct RER B line from CDG airport (station St.Michele) Plus, I haven't even gotten to the best part, which was the breakfast. It was 8 euros, and there was a plentiful selection of breads, jams, cheeses, yogurts, fruits, and cereals. All was super tasty. Plus the coffee and hot chocolate were delicious, brought out in small cute pitchers so you could have a nice servicing. We went all around France during our trip and I still remember the drinks there. Yummy. Overall, the price was right, the location was good, and the rooms were great. I would recommend it to anyone.
