Nice has a new luxury hotel just a 5 minute walk toward the Chateau from Place Rossetti. It's an old convent updated and upgraded. It's large with a new modern wing place a huge courtyard area perfect for drinks and meals. I went twice for drinks and then again for dinner. It's a very pleasant outdoor area with friendly and helpful staff. For dinner I had the Barbajuans - small pastries stuffed with swiss chard and cheese (it's the national dish of Monaco! Who knew?), a nice white fish filet in a creamy tasty sauce and the tarte au chocolat for dessert. It's a great atmosphere for a romantic dinner as well as perfect for a family. Next time I'll stay at the hotel too! read more
