This is the magnificent entrance to the hotel

Experience of a lifetime. Absolutely magnificent in every way. Imagine a beautifully appointed hotel, with the highest level of classic European hospitality set in an exquisite village bursting with flowers, at the top of a mountain overlooking the Côte d'Azur and then add in a Michelin starred restaurant. It was perfection.

Amazing meal at Eze, Chèvre d'Or has it down. Creative dishes, perfect setting, amazing attentive service, just about everything was done perfectly. There are 2 restaurants so when making reservation, be sure to select what you want, the fine dining indoors (has amazing view from panoramic wall sized windows) or the option outdoors. Tables are limited so reserve way in advance.

Amazing. The hotel is built into the side of a mountain and intertwined with the village Eze. The views are nothing short of breath taking. It is so quaint and everything is cobble stoned, covered in flowering ivy and gorgeous. The whole experience was 5 stars from check in to check out. We took an uber from the airport to the hotel and it was a twisty turning ride up the mountain. The hotel is gated and doesn't allow people to just walk around the property- which we found nice because the town of Eze has tour buses pulling in daily and unloading hoards of people. Our suite was really nice- you have a living room area that has separate entrance to the bathroom and bedroom. Our bedroom had another small sitting area with a television and windows that opened out to view the ocean. The bathroom was marble city and had a hobbit like door that my husband had to duck to go through. The shower was separate from the glorious, huge, jetted tub. We also had his and hers vanities. If you're looking for the electrical outlet for your hair styling tools it's under the sink, in the cabinet alllll the way in the back of the cabinet! The closet had plenty of room to hang up everything we brought. Despite the medieval village, everything in the room was modern and seemed newly renovated. Our room wasn't too terribly far up the hill, but we did have to climb a few sets of stairs. When we checked in we had welcome drinks offered to us on the patio looking out over the Mediterranean. This patio area has the best view- this is where we also ate breakfast. You can go down a flight of stairs from this patio to the pool area. We ended up spending a day lying under the gazebo next to the pool all day. The service by the pool is drinks only, but you can walk to the restaurant right by the pool if you want some pizzas, sandwiches, burgers- things like that. I strongly recommend you try to get reservations for the Michelin star restaurant on site. Be sure to request a table by the window so you can take in the magnificent view. This is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed that wasn't smack dab on the beach. The views are just amazing. Sunset and sunrise are so perfect. It's definitely pricey, but so worth it!!

Perched atop the rolling hills of the medieval Eze village in the south of France, you can't help but fall in love with this charming hotel. The grounds are spectacular with breathtaking views of the French Riviera below and a provincial old town feel that sets the tone for a relaxing getaway. The rooms are modest and IMO in dire need of a renovation and update. The dated furniture, hardware and upholstery look like they were stuck in the 80s or something. There are some perks, however, like the thoughtful welcome reception with Bellinis, macarons, sweets and bottled water. They also provide a jacuzzi tub with Lanvin bath products, which was impressive. I only stayed one night, but my sleep was restful because the town gets very quiet after dark and the silence will cradle you into a deep comfortable sleep. Don't forget to visit the church and gardens when you're in town. They offer more beautiful views and of course, the restaurant is a must.

Really wonderful foods and view here. I had dinner during sunset and it was pretty magical the seascape beyond the glass windows of the restaurant that is tucked neatly on the mountains top of Eze. Would love to come back here again and see if anything new has been added

My husband & I ordered the chocolate cookie with vanilla ice cream & an americano coffee for each of us. Shortly thereafter our dessert showed up (sans coffee, which we had asked for to be delivered with our dessert). My husband tried multiple times to alert a staff member to bring our coffee, but they were too interested in taking care of a pretty young woman seated nearby. I counted 5-6 times that staff members waited on her attentively, & she was seated probably 3' from myself. We finally got up to pay for our dessert & to leave. It took us some time to find someone to pay. My husband finally flagged someone down & told the man who was going to take our payment to remove the coffees from the bill. He looked toward our table to verify no coffee cups were on our table, he flagged down another staff member to ask why we didn't receive our coffee. They started talking animatedly in French, while we waited patiently to pay for our desserts. He then asked if we wanted our coffee to go, to which my husband replied "no". It was very frustrating to watch someone else getting more attentive service & whom by the way was not spending as much as we were. It shouldn't matter whether you or staying there or not, everyone should be treated the same if you are in the restaurant near the lobby. I definitely would not recommend anyone to go there to stay or eat. We are staying at a very nice hotel nearby, where everyone seems to be treated the same. If we ever return, we will return to the same hotel to stay & we would not go back the the Hermitage for any reason! I'm very sorry I asked my husband to go in there to have some dessert, it has ruined his evening.

Very polite and friendly staff. More quiet, and quaint, Hotel after staying at other Southern…read moreFrance Hotels. Very close to the city of Eze and central to many activities.

It's rare to find yourself at a loss - I haven't even been able to write this review because I am…read morestill a bit despondent about not still being at Domaine Pins Paul. Philippe and his wife are wondrous hoteliers - they create a warm, stunning environment that caters to your every need. Modern and updated bathroom in the suite, the views are unparalleled anywhere in the world. I took a time lapse from the suite's bedroom window. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=llEAckR2Bec Make sure to choose 720p, and make it is full screen. Quite simply, that is your view. We were in the upper room, however, I am sure the other rooms have stunning views as well. The bed was a king size.. I am 6'5" and my wife went out of her way to find one. It was SO comfortable. The gardens and property were wonderful, and the drive there was a thrill.... it is a painfully beautiful place. Philippe will act as your guide. =) The suite is far and away worth the added cost - the space in the suite, the views, etc should make it a fairly easy decision. Breakfast was wonderful, and the patio was a perfect way to start the day. They go out of their way to provide the most delicious and charming breakfast you could imagine. The living room was cute, and they even started a large fire the one morning it got misty and chilly. Philippe's gracious and caring service made him transcend the typical inkeeper, and truly made it feel like your were friend or family, and he & his wife were hosting you. His delightful pooch, Fiona, became a fast friend. It's as wonderful an experience I have ever had in my 20 years of hospitality. We will undoubtedly be back to visit, and sooner than later. You must hike the Nietzsche trail down to the pebble beach - if you are there to walk around and hike, don't miss it. We feel incomplete without Domaine Pins Paul in our lives - it affected us *that* deeply. Thank you for what you do!! We hope to see you soon!
