The hotel is historic, but the rooms were updated several years ago, and offer both sea views and mountain views. Bathrooms have a half door, so there's water all over the floor when you get out. We booked the sea view, but got bumped to a mountain view room, for some reason, but the hotel compensated us with a bottle of champagne and a voucher for food or drinks. Our family shot a few games of pool each day just for fun. The stunning, red and white pool table is located near the lobby, across from a white grand piano. We listened to many talented guests sing and play the piano as we played pool. We also met other guests who were return visitors to the hotel. Boscolo exceeded our expectations. It is also right in the heart of this charming town; we walked from the hotel everywhere we wanted to go.
