I had absolutely the best trip ever staying here! The location is within walking distance to almost everything you could ever imagine in Paris. And if you can't walk there hop on the metro or catch an Uber.
As an American woman traveling alone in Paris I decided on this hotel based on the recommendation of a friend. They staff was amazingly cordial and the room was perfect. You entered into the room through a small entryway that had a closet and safe. Through this small entry room was the main room. I booked the comfort room. It was more than that! The ceiling was high with a beautiful chandelier. I wish I would have taken a picture of it. The room had a beautiful mirror that I did take a picture of though. The bathroom had a tub and shower. The shower was one of the rain type showers and felt sooooo nice after a rainy day in Paris.
The only downside to my room I would say is that one morning it was a bit loud outside. As this room was right above the front entrance to the hotel and they had an early morning delivery of laundry services or something. And on garbage day, the garbage truck. But I didn't really care, I was in Paris, France and it was amazing!
It was definitely not inexpensive, but as I mentioned, traveling alone as a woman it was nice to stay somewhere that sort of kept track of me. By this I mean I had an actual key to my room. Not the normal card that swipes to open the door. A heavy key that I gave to the front desk to hold on to each time I left. Upon return I was given the key back. So if anything had happened to me, they would know I had not returned back to my hotel room. There was a daily breakfast with all the typical french food, cheese, meats, cereal, and tea. Offered each day, but with so many cafes so close by I only ate breakfast at the hotel once.
If, I mean, when I go back I may stay here again if I can manage the budget. Cheers and happy travels and food. read more
